Chapter 116 - Chapter 116 The Beast is Out of the Cage

"Swift Wind Swordsman is a destabilizing element in society! He wanders above our heads every day, wearing dangerous high-tech armor, threatening our safety. The government has issued a notice, hoping he will voluntarily hand over the armor technology to the U.S. government so that we can better protect the country and its people! We hope this Swift Wind..."

On the screen, a certain Senator was speaking eloquently at a hearing, constantly talking about America, the people, and peace. Noah felt he was talking nonsense, having seen too much of this moral blackmail.

These were tricks the U.S. government in the Marvel Universe had always used. They had used them on Iron Man before, but Iron Man, at the time, was almost dying from palladium poisoning, so he gave a suit of armor to his good brother Rhodes, who was in the Military. This was a small compromise Tony made at the time, giving the armor to his trusted good brother Rhodes, which both satisfied the government's demand for the armor and eased the relationship between Stark Industries and the government.

But Noah wouldn't compromise. After all, he hadn't revealed his identity like Tony, so the other party could only condemn Swift Wind Swordsman on television. Noah didn't care about them.

Noah had no good feelings for the U.S. government in the Marvel Universe because they did too many idiotic things, such as liking to research dangerous items they didn't understand, like the Tesseract. Although S.H.I.E.L.D. was mainly researching it, it was still an allowed and ordered command from above. Another thing was their disregard for the safety of hundreds of thousands of citizens by forcibly launching a nuclear bomb. Although this incident hasn't happened yet, it doesn't stop Noah from thinking they are brain-dead.

"These people are so annoying." Noah turned off the screen. These guys had actually held more than one hearing about Swift Wind Swordsman. Tony had also talked to Noah about it before, asking if he needed help, but Noah refused because he felt it didn't matter.

However, having a fly constantly buzzing in front of you would annoy anyone. Noah decided to let Lissandra give these guys a small lesson. To become a Senator, there should be some dirty dealings beneath them. Of course, if he was truly clean and incorruptible, Noah would just let him off the hook.

"Let them jump around for a while." Noah thought. Later, when his own strength and technology improved, and he had the power to control Earth, he would directly integrate all countries on Earth into an Earth Alliance, and then lead Earth into the Universe.

However, that was for later. For now, Noah felt he should prepare more for future encounters with Thanos and the Celestials. The U.S. matters were just a small stumbling block on the road; if they got in the way, he would just kick them aside without paying too much attention.

"Let's see how Banner is doing." After Noah turned off the news, he switched to the Gamma Ray Detector interface, which displayed the gamma radiation around Banner and also scanned the city and forest where he was located.

"Hmm, he hasn't made a move yet. What's going on? So unprofessional." Noah grumbled.

It was already daytime. Banner had spent a night in the forest, and no strange things had come to bother him. It seemed they still had to wait. Anyway, Noah didn't have to stay in the forest; Banner was the one suffering. However, Noah was afraid Banner would get bored staying in the forest, so he gave him a phone that couldn't be wiretapped so he could chat with his girlfriend, which surprised Banner.

"Oh, right, I can test this guy now." Noah was just thinking about when the Leader's people would go after Banner and what mutated monsters they would send, and then he suddenly thought of something.

Speaking of monsters, he also had a monster about to be 'released.' Noah got up and went directly to the Underground Laboratory.

Noah arrived at the Project experimental area. When he walked to a computer and pressed a button, a cylindrical metal device in front of him changed. The metal was retracting upwards and downwards, revealing what was inside the cylinder.

A figure connected by several blue transmission tubes floated within the opened cylindrical device. Under the shadow, the general outline of the figure could be seen, with the limbs and head having the shadow of a Beast. As the surrounding lights came on, the true face of the Beast figure was revealed: it was Project: Warwick, a Project Beast with a very long name.

"The Beast is about to be unleashed." Noah pressed a button, and the energy transmission tubes connected to Warwick detached. Warwick, floating in the air, landed on the ground, his heavy mechanical body emitting a mechanical friction sound.

After a moment of stillness, Warwick's eyes lit up, followed by various parts of his body emitting blue light, as if announcing his awakening.

"Roar~"

Mechanical Warwick raised a hand and looked at his glowing claws, then let out a low growl, his gaze turning to Noah in front of him. Warwick moved his legs and walked in front of Noah, his glowing tail wagging slightly behind him.

Noah hadn't set up a very powerful intelligent AI for Warwick, only equipping him with an artificial intelligence similar to Blitzcrank's; this level of AI was more than enough. Noah didn't know Lissandra's view on these AIs, whether they were similar to her or merely low-level existences in her eyes, like humans viewing monkeys. Noah still cared about Lissandra's opinion, so he would only create artificial intelligences of Blitzcrank's level.

"Boss, do you need me to hunt for you?" Warwick asked Noah in a deep, hoarse voice.

"Boss?" Noah heard Warwick's address to him, a little curious.

"Noah, you said before that you didn't like the title 'Master,' so I set their address for you as 'Boss'." Lissandra said, coming up behind Noah.

"Alright, sounds pretty good." Noah turned around. Today, Lissandra was wearing loose, comfortable sportswear, which Noah also liked to wear. His current clothes were the same style as Lissandra's, both made by the Master tailor, Ms. Gwen.

Noah was planning to test Project: Warwick today. Ever since he obtained its data, Noah began to create the mechanical Beast named Warwick. In the past few days, he finally completed it, and now, Noah intended to test Warwick's abilities.

Noah prepared to have Warwick infiltrate the forest where Banner was, and when the mutated monsters arrived, he would have Warwick deal with them, and at the same time, test its performance.

"Oh, right, I also need to set up Banner's data, so I don't accidentally take out Banner too." Noah prepared to set up Banner's data for Warwick, as well as the data for those mutated monsters. He also had two monster corpses he could use.

-------------------------------------

Just as Noah was testing Warwick in the laboratory, their recent target, the Leader, was currently in a factory near the New Mexico Military zone, arguing with General Ross. More accurately, General Ross was unilaterally roaring, his neck red.

"Why! Why aren't you pursuing Banner now?!" General Ross was dissatisfied with the other party. He had clearly found Banner, so why weren't they sending more monsters to pursue him? If Banner wasn't currently in another country, he would have flown planes and tanks over long ago.

At this moment, the two were in a high-level walkway in the factory, which connected both ends of the factory and was surrounded by iron railings. General Ross's voice was loud, echoing in the empty factory.

"Don't rush, General Ross. You've fought Hulk for so many years; you should know his strength. If we don't prepare sufficiently before going, it will just be a waste of effort, and we might even alert him." The Leader said unhurriedly, his large head prominent.

"Then when do you plan to make your move?" General Ross also calmed down. Recently, because of Hulk, his emotions were often unstable and he was prone to losing his temper.

"Clap, clap~" The Leader did not answer, only smiled and clapped his hands.

These two claps seemed to trigger a switch, as the lights in the factory floor below them lit up. This surprised Ross. Sound-activated lights? He had been so loud before, but it hadn't triggered the lights below?

General Ross walked to the railing with confusion, looking down. In an instant, General Ross's pupils slightly constricted, as if he had seen something shocking.

"How is it, General Ross?" The Leader walked next to Ross, his hands behind his back.

The shocking things below that surprised Ross were the mutated creatures created by the Leader, and their number was enormous. In Ross's eyes, they filled the entire factory floor. This time, the Leader used even more powerful creatures for mutation, and some mutated monsters with multiple biological features could even be seen. However, there seemed to be no mutated monsters formed from humans; the Leader seemed to not have broken through this technology yet.

"General, I need you to transport all these 'soldiers' into Mexico. After all, their numbers are vast, and if they go directly, they will inevitably be discovered by the outside world. You don't want our plan to be known to the outside world now, do you?" The Leader said to Ross.

"Hmm… alright." Ross thought for a while, then agreed to the other party's request, and then asked:

"When can your technology be applied to soldiers?"

"Hehehe, don't rush. Soon… soon." The Leader's expression, accentuated by his large head, appeared somewhat sinister and terrifying.
