On the day Noah and Thor dueled the Destroyer in the small town, Noah used the Resolve Rune to destroy the Destroyer, leaving a huge crater, and then followed Thor to Asgard.
The crowd still at the original location gathered around the huge crater, exclaiming in awe.
It was less a huge crater and more a canyon.
"Is this something a human can do?" Jane and her two companions exclaimed from the side. Today, their worldview had been completely refreshed, having witnessed so many unscientific scenes.
Tony also descended from the sky and stood at the edge of the huge crater. The land that had been there was vaporized by the energy cannon of the Resolve Rune, leaving only a bottomless, massive pit and the large cracks extending from it.
'How much energy would it take to cause such an effect?' Tony thought to himself. He had always been very confident. Earlier, when he attended a hearing held by the U.S. government, he had even said that it would be impossible for anyone to create technology similar to his Iron Man Suit for a period of time.
This was his confidence; he was confident that his talent and abilities were ahead of this World, which was why he said such things.
However, Ivan Vanko appeared shortly after, which was a slight blow to Tony's ego. But Tony knew that Ivan's father had once been a colleague of his own father and possessed research data for the Arc Reactor. Relying on his own talent, Ivan had created a simplified Arc Reactor, and Tony tentatively acknowledged that he had some talent.
But then, after Ivan Vanko, Noah appeared. Tony truly didn't know where this guy came from, and his armor's technology seemed far more mature than his own. Its power, speed, defense, and firepower were clearly much higher than his.
And when Tony learned that the other party was actually a 16y/old, he was instantly stunned. However, Tony didn't know if this armor was really made by Noah. He felt that after the other party returned from that mysterious Asgard, he must go and meet this little boy.
"Sir, you need to see this." Jarvis suddenly spoke.
"Hmm? What's that?" Just then, Jarvis highlighted an anomalous energy reaction point on Tony's facial display. The mark was located at the bottom of the deep pit, but it was too dark at the bottom, and Tony couldn't see clearly.
After Jarvis adjusted the faceplate's viewing distance, Tony could barely make out the object in the darkness. The item highlighted by Jarvis was precisely a fragment of the Destroyer.
"Is this the remains of that mysterious armor?" Tony was somewhat surprised.
After the Destroyer was blasted into the ground by Noah, some of its metal was directly melted by the high energy, and some of its body was scattered by the explosion. At this moment, it was distributed at the bottom of the pit, embedded in the soil.
Then, to the astonished gazes of the crowd, Tony flew into the dark deep pit. Nick Fury, who was also deep in thought nearby, suddenly had a bad premonition. A few minutes later, Tony flew out of the deep pit.
"Everyone, I have something to do, so I'll be leaving first. Let's grab a burger sometime." Tony, holding a large pile of items, hastily left the scene. Because of his speed, Nick Fury didn't get a clear look.
Only Jane's good friend, Daisy, excitedly waved goodbye to Iron Man, while everyone else wondered what he had gone down to do.
At this moment, Hawkeye walked up to Nick Fury and said, "Director, I saw what Stark took away. It seems to be fragments of the body of that robot that just fought Noah and Thor."
Hawkeye's eyesight was excellent, so he could see what Tony took away as he flew out. However, he didn't know what the Destroyer was, only treating it as a robot.
"Motherfucker!? That guy!" Nick Fury cursed aloud after hearing Hawkeye's words. He realized that Tony had stolen a march on him, snatching away good things before him.
"Coulson, quickly organize a team to go down into this deep pit and search for all remaining items left by the enemy." Nick Fury said to Coulson next to him. He didn't know how much was left inside, or if Stark had taken everything.
"But Director, we haven't conducted a safety inspection inside yet, and we don't know if there are any dangerous energy radiations remaining." Coulson reminded Nick Fury.
"Then quickly go find exploration personnel to come over, hurry!"
After a series of operations, Jane and the others had already gone to the Bifrost Bridge mark, and Nick Fury had successfully sent people to retrieve the Destroyer's remains from inside, though not much, as most had been melted by Noah. Of course, Nick didn't know this, and he was wondering how much Tony had taken?
Nick Fury did not send the retrieved Destroyer remains back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters but to another location. After Noah's reminder, he had been wary of moles within the agency, so he did not intend to bring the Destroyer remains back to the agency for research.
Nick Fury had also privately cultivated a research team. These talents were highly qualified individuals he had invited from all over the World, and some were talents he had poached from within the agency. They only obeyed him, so Nick Fury trusted his team more, as he had personally nurtured them.
Nick Fury initially suspected if there were also moles within his own team, but he then abandoned this idea. These people had always been under his direct supervision. If even they could become moles, then you might as well say that half of S.H.I.E.L.D. were moles. Thinking of this, Nick Fury smiled.
Upon returning to the camp, Nick Fury waited for a long time but Noah did not appear. In the interim, they detected a Bifrost Bridge reaction and thought Noah and the others had returned, but it turned out to be Thor coming to pick up Jane and her companions, and he had even left before they had a chance to ask anything.
Nick Fury was somewhat speechless and could only continue waiting for Noah here. He still hoped to get firsthand information about Asgard from Noah, so he waited for a whole day.
"Let's go back to New York first." Nick Fury gave up the idea of waiting here.
Nick Fury decided to find Noah later when he returned. In fact, with Noah not returning for so long, Nick Fury had considered that something might have happened to him in Asgard.
However, after Coulson and others informed him that Thor had come down to pick up Jane and her companions, Nick Fury dismissed this idea. The fact that Thor could come down proved that he had won in his struggle with Loki, so Noah would not be in any danger.
Inside S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Director's office, Nick Fury had already returned to New York. After spending an afternoon dealing with the aftermath of the small town incident and answering inquiries from above, Nick Fury finally had time to rest for a while.
Actually, it was mainly to deal with those guys from above. For the aftermath, he only needed to give a general order, and his subordinates would handle it.
"Coulson, is there any movement at Noah's residence now? Can we know his current situation?" Nick Fury called Coulson. It was already noon on the second day, and he thought if Noah was fine, he should be planning to return, right?
"Director, the satellite images do not contain the information you are looking for." Coulson said helplessly.
"Hmm, from now on, do not use satellites to probe that area." Nick Fury said. He remembered Lissandra's existence and suddenly realized that their actions might have already been detected, and the satellite images might have been tampered with.
"However, our people have discovered that Jane Foster and her two companions have returned, so perhaps Noah has also returned." At this moment, Coulson said. Their Agents had transmitted the news of the group's return here, and Coulson felt that Noah should have already returned.
"Oh? Is that so?" Hearing this, Nick Fury decided to personally go and see if Noah had returned.
Just then, Nick Fury's phone rang. Nick Fury pulled out his phone from his pocket and found that it was Tony's call.
"Nick, can you tell me the address of that underage genius? I have something I want to discuss with him." Tony asked directly for Noah's location after Nick Fury answered the call.
"You're looking for Noah? Then come over to my place, I happen to be going to find him too."
