Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 The guardian angel arrives

As the light dispersed, faint hymns echoed in the void, as if welcoming the Guardian Angel's descent into the world.

A sword imbued with holy light appeared before Noah.

Beneath its hilt was a crystal-clear blue gem, flanked by two pairs of pure, flawless white wings, as if an Angel was guarding it.

Mysterious patterns were carved into the blade, and the entire sword exuded a sacred and solemn aura.

The Guardian Angel floated silently in the air, its two pairs of wings gently stirring, emitting a serene and pure light.

"This Guardian Angel is quite beautiful, full of sacredness," Noah said, looking at the holy light emanating from the sword before him, and reached out to touch the two pairs of white wings.

The wings felt soft and light, delicate and silky smooth; his fingertips gently glided over the soft feathers, making him feel as if he could sense the Guardian Angel's protection and warmth.

"It feels like real Angel wings."

After experiencing the two large wings, Noah grasped the Angel's sword and felt a sacred power surge from the blade, enveloping everything around him in a strong light.

From the outside, a golden pillar of light shot up from Noah's room, the light unhindered by the building, as if it were illusory; then, two ethereal pairs of Angel's wings appeared around the pillar, first closing to envelop the light, then slowly unfurling.

"My Lord, what is that?" Many Asgardians saw this scene and discussed it in astonishment.

However, because Asgard had been very peaceful in recent years, they did not regard this as a dangerous sign, but rather as a spectacle created by the higher-ups.

On the balcony of Odin's bedchamber, Odin, in his soul form, reappeared, standing by the railing, observing the spectacle caused by the Guardian Angel.

"Another powerful artifact, mysterious Midgardian, what kind of existence is truly behind you?"

Inside Noah's room, the light slowly dissipated, and the soaring pillar of light gradually vanished, the two pairs of wings transforming into specks of golden light scattered across the ground.

"So, am I bound now? Do I have two lives now?" The moment Noah grasped the sword, he felt a connection forming between himself and the Guardian Angel, and now, he had successfully bound with the Guardian Angel. In the future, if he were to perish, the Guardian Angel would resurrect him.

"I just don't know how long the cooldown is, it shouldn't be a one-time use."

Noah didn't know the Guardian Angel's resurrection cooldown, and he didn't want to personally test it to find out.

After thoroughly sensing the Guardian Angel's resurrection-related information, Noah held up the longsword and observed it; this sword, of course, had more than just a resurrection function.

Noah raised the Guardian Angel high, and his internal magic essence surged into it. In an instant, the light emanating from the Guardian Angel once again enveloped the entire room.

"Blinding! This sword can convert my magic essence into holy power, but what's the use of that? Does it have a bonus against undead?" Noah retracted his magic essence, and the light dimmed. He pondered the utility of this holy light.

"Light and darkness, perhaps effective against Dimensional Demons like Dormammu?" Noah thought for a moment and felt that this might be promising. If he ever had the chance to encounter Dormammu, he would definitely try a couple of high-intensity flashes on him.

"What happened here? Oh? Noah, so you're in this room. Was what just happened related to you?"

Just then, Thor's voice came from the hallway of the room. He must have come to investigate what caused the pillar of light.

After all, his last coronation ceremony was interrupted because Frost Giants appeared in Asgard, so now he is particularly sensitive to strange signs appearing in Asgard, fearing that something like light elves might appear again this time.

Therefore, Thor quickly rushed to the scene, even faster than Asgard's patrol teams.

And after the patrolling Asgardian soldiers arrived, Thor waved his hand, letting them continue their work, as he had already investigated the situation here.

"Yes, I was testing my weapon. Did I cause you any trouble?" Noah held up the Guardian Angel, the two pairs of wings on the sword gently fluttering.

"Of course not, I just thought some enemy had invaded Asgard again. But, Noah, you have so many artifacts, unlike me, who only has one. Oh! mjolnir, I certainly didn't mean to dislike you, don't be angry." Thor looked at the Guardian Angel in Noah's hand. Being well-informed, he could tell that the sword in Noah's hand was another artifact, and couldn't help but exclaim, but then his mjolnir, hanging at his waist, began to vibrate, as if angry at Thor's words.

Thor coaxed the hammer for a long time before mjolnir stopped vibrating. Thor breathed a sigh of relief and gave Noah an awkward smile.

"My mjolnir is just prone to jealousy because we have such a good relationship. Also, the banquet is about to begin, Noah, you go over there first. I want to go back and pick up Jane and them. I promised Jane I would show her the Bifrost Bridge and Asgard."

Thor had already met his Father and Mother upon his return. His Father was still in slumber, while his Mother was concerned about his life on Earth. Thor told his Mother that he had made several good friends on Earth and told Frigga their names.

Frigga smiled as she listened to her son's narration. Being very familiar with her son, she noticed that Thor's tone was different when introducing a girl named Jane compared to when he introduced others. Therefore, she asked Thor to bring his friends from Earth to the banquet. She also wanted to personally meet this girl, Jane, the first girl to capture Thor's heart.

"Alright, you go first. I'll be there in a bit." Noah nodded. He still had a treasure chest and a previously acquired hero engine to open. Noah planned to open these items before going to the banquet.

Thor left, flying off with his hammer to find Heimdall. Noah also returned to the Summoner interface, looking at the remaining bonus treasure chest from the ten-consecutive summon on the interface, and tapped it with his finger.

The treasure chest vibrated slightly, and blue light emanated from the opening. Once the chest was open, two orbs, one blue and one white, appeared. Noah quickly reached out and tapped both orbs open.

[Obtained 3000 essence]

[Obtained Gwen]

The white orb, as usual, yielded essence, and this time there were three thousand points, directly returning half of the summoning essence. And the blue one...

"Gwen?" Noah looked at what came out of the blue orb, a question mark floating above his head.

Noah reached out and caught the cloth doll floating in mid-air.

With his hands under the doll's arms, Noah held the Gwen cloth doll, examining it carefully, trying to discern what was different about this doll. The doll had blue curly pigtails tied with bows at both ends, wore a white and purple dress, and had a large bow on its chest with a metal badge hanging from it—Noah didn't recognize this badge (I don't recognize it)—and the doll's face wore a smiling expression.

"Emm... cute, but I can't see anything different. Can the system even draw toys?" Noah carefully observed the cloth doll, truly unable to see any mystery within it.

"Try with magic essence?"

Noah attempted to infuse magic essence into the cloth doll. Sure enough, after Noah poured the first wisp of magic essence into the doll, it underwent a strange transformation. The cloth doll in Noah's hand suddenly began to generate suction, continuously absorbing the magic essence from Noah's body.

After Noah's internal magic essence reserves dropped to half, the cloth doll finally stopped absorbing magic essence and began to float up from Noah's hand.

The doll floated into mid-air, swaying left and right, and began to flash with blue light. Moreover, a blue mist also began to appear faintly around the doll. Noah watched with wide eyes; he felt something was about to emerge.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, a crisp girlish gasp rang out. To Noah's astonished gaze, the Gwen cloth doll in mid-air actually transformed into a young girl.

Gwen, upon realizing she had transformed into human form, found herself in mid-air, which startled her, making her involuntarily cry out. A sensation of falling came, but then suddenly disappeared. Gwen found herself falling into a warm embrace.

A pair of hands caught her in a princess carry.

Noah looked at the incredibly cute girl before him. On her delicate face, beneath long, slightly curved eyelashes, a pair of blue eyes were as clear as water. Her left pupil was shaped like a cross button. Her slender figure was exquisitely proportioned, and her attire was an enlarged version of the clothes she wore in her doll form. (I'm not good at describing, but she's just super cute.)

Noah stared at the girl before him, somewhat stunned. When he saw her falling just now, Noah instinctively reached out and then held her. Feeling the soft touch of Gwen's body, and the delicate, silky smooth feel of stockings on his right hand, his face suddenly flushed, feeling a bit awkward, and he quickly put Gwen down.

Yes, it was indeed Gwen from League of Legends. After Noah infused magic essence into the Gwen cloth doll, Gwen transformed from her doll form into her human form.

"Gwen?" Noah looked at the cute girl before him, still somewhat disbelieving, and asked. He didn't know the system could summon hero characters; previously, he had only summoned hero templates, which integrated the hero's power into his own body without summoning the hero themselves. The only thing that was summoned was Ezreal's gauntlet. He hadn't expected that this time, a hero from League of Legends would actually appear before him, and it was his beloved Gwen.

"That's right, it's Gwen, Summoner."
