Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Lightspeed Mission Completion, Riddler Odin

"I will destroy Jotunheim! To prove that I am the one who can inherit the throne of Asgard."

Loki's face was contorted with a ferocious expression, his hand gripping the Eternal Spear, poised to insert it into the Bifrost Bridge activator's slot.

Just then, a golden light flashed behind Loki, and an Electrocution Blade in the shape of lightning was pressed against his waist, then instantly released a large amount of electricity.

"Ah!!!"

Caught off guard by the sneak attack, Loki was covered in yellow lightning, and under the baptism of the lightning, his entire body began to tremble, with lightning arcing from the two sharp horns of his helmet.

"Clang~"

When Noah retracted the Electrocution Blade, Loki was already smoking, his eyes glazed over, and he had collapsed onto the ground, the Eternal Spear in his hand also falling to the ground.

"So much nonsense. I had to give you a good shock to let you know what it means for a villain to die from talking too much." Noah retracted the Electrocution Blade that had been jabbed into Loki's kidney area. Loki had almost activated the Bifrost Bridge. Fortunately, Loki talked a lot and had to explain everything he was doing. Otherwise, if the Bifrost Bridge had been opened, Noah wouldn't have known if he could close it. It's better for such uncertain factors not to appear.

Noah had just used Flash, directly teleporting behind Loki, and then immediately pulled out the Electrocution Blade to give this troublesome Loki a round of electroshock therapy.

"That's great, Wizard, you did great. Loki almost destroyed Jotunheim just now." Thor wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. If Loki had successfully opened the Bifrost Bridge, he wouldn't have had a good way to solve the problem. He couldn't just smash the Bifrost Bridge, could he? Then he might never see Jane again. But thankfully, the Wizard was capable and successfully dealt with Loki.

"Wizard, how did you get over there just now? It was too fast, I didn't even react." Thor came over to Loki, grabbed the still smoking horned helmet, threw it aside, then twisted Loki's hands behind his back, firmly restraining Loki, fearing the cunning Loki would run off again. After doing all this, he looked at Noah and asked. He hadn't seen anything clearly just now, only a golden light flashing behind Loki, and then Noah appeared.

"Of course, I used Flash to get there. Also, Thor, don't call me Wizard anymore, just call me by my name. Speaking of which, I haven't introduced myself yet. Noah Li, just an ordinary Mage and Swordsman." Although he was a Mage who only knew how to condense magic into magic cannons.

"Of course, I know you used Flash, but… never mind, Noah, I'll remember. You are now a good friend of Asgard. You all, please take Noah to the guest reception area. I'm going to hold a banquet later to properly entertain our friends from Midgard. Now, I want to go see how Father and Mother are doing. Oh, remember to take Heimdall for healing."

With that, Thor carried Loki and flew towards the Heavenly Palace. At the scene, several people from the Heavenly Palace had already rescued Heimdall from the ice, but after being hit twice in a short period by the ice box, Heimdall was not well. His face was now ashen, even turning purple.

"He looks pretty serious. We must send him to a Doctor quickly," Hogan and Fandral said, each supporting one of Heimdall's arms.

"No need to find a Doctor, leave it to me." Noah spoke up. Just as the others were about to ask questions, Noah stretched out his hand, and a emerald green stream of air surged from Noah's hand, blowing directly towards Heimdall.

'Resurrection Wind'

"This feeling… it's very comfortable." The two people supporting Heimdall were also touched by the Resurrection Wind and immediately felt a warmth spread through their bodies, as if all their fatigue had dissipated. And Heimdall, in the middle, his face had already turned from purple to becoming normal again.

Almost as soon as the Resurrection Wind disappeared, Heimdall opened his eyes and looked at Noah.

"Thank you, Mr. Noah." Heimdall was exceptionally gifted; he could perceive what was happening around him even while unconscious. So he knew who saved him and immediately thanked Noah after regaining consciousness.

"This is truly incredible, Noah. I never imagined that Midgard would have someone like you. Not only are you powerful, but you also possess so many amazing abilities," the stout warrior Volstagg exclaimed from the side. His two brothers also nodded in agreement. In their impression, Midgard was full of ordinary mortals, so they never expected such a formidable person like Noah to emerge.

"I'm still just average now," Noah said. His growth potential was still very large. Compared to his future self, he was indeed just average now. Of course, to the people present, Noah was just being humble.

"You are too humble, Noah. Let's go to the Heavenly Palace. A banquet might be held soon. I'm telling you, Noah, our Asgardian banquets are amazing, with all sorts of delicious food and fine wine…"

Subsequently, Volstagg chatted with Noah about the Asgardian banquet all the way, Noah nodding in agreement on the surface, but in reality, he was doing something else.

[Task completed, received 800 essence]

'800 essence?!'

To be honest, Noah hadn't expected it. After all, the difficulty of this task was too low. After Noah exited the Bifrost Bridge, he used Flash, then poked Loki's kidney, and the task was completed? The smoothness of it exceeded Noah's imagination. Noah had even thought that the Bifrost Bridge would directly disintegrate and transform into Bifrost Bridge Odin, but it wasn't until Noah claimed the task reward that he realized this task was just that simple.

'With an additional 800 points, I now have 6100 essence. I can do another 10-pull.' Noah, while engaging in conversation with the others, looked at the classical art style of Asgard, wondering if drawing here would be different from drawing on Earth.

"A very interesting design." Just then, Lissandra's voice rang out. At this time, Noah was still wearing his battle armor.

Noah looked up. Not far above them, a team of Asgardian soldiers flew overhead on their ships. These ships looked like wooden boats that swam in water, with two pairs of wings added. This was the Asgardian art style.

"Indeed interesting, a novel art style," Noah said.

"Hmm? What's novel? Are you talking about this delicacy? You certainly don't have this dish on Midgard, I'm telling you…"

Noah was getting fed up with this glutton. Fortunately, they soon arrived at the banquet hall in Asgard. At this time, many Asgardian servants were already setting up the banquet. They were incredibly fast; Thor's order couldn't have been given long ago, yet they had almost finished setting up the banquet hall. It seemed they held banquets quite often.

Noah entered the guest room prepared for him by the servants. The room's decor was rich in medieval style, giving a sense of rustic luxury. The walls were carved with many traditional Asgardian paintings, all depicting how Odin led the Nine Realms to peace.

'If I smash this painting, will there be another one behind it?' Noah recalled what Hela did in Thor 3, but then again, it wasn't possible. This was just a guest room, not some throne hall.

Stepping on the finely patterned carpet, Noah walked further into the room. Noah's battle armor also receded, turning back into a belt. After the armor receded, Noah still had a pair of headphones on his ears, which made it convenient for him to talk to Lissandra.

Sitting on a high-backed chair in the room, Noah leaned back, opened the summoning interface, and prepared to perform a summon here.

"Hmm?"

Just as Noah was about to tap, he suddenly felt a mysterious power approaching. Noah became alert and looked in the direction from which the power was coming.

On the wall of the room, a phantom emerged. Noah's eyes narrowed, recognizing the identity of the newcomer.

It was an old man with white hair and a white beard, wearing an eye patch over his right eye. It was none other than the ruler of Asgard, the All-Father Odin.

"Hello, All-Father Odin, a pleasure to meet you for the first time."

Noah was a little surprised to see the visitor. What was Odin doing here? Was he specifically looking for him? Moreover, he felt that Odin's state was a bit strange; he seemed somewhat ethereal.

After carefully sensing it, Noah confirmed that the current Odin was in a soul state, coming to find him. His physical body should still be undergoing the Odin Sleep. This time, Odin did not forcefully interrupt the Odin Sleep to save Thor, so he should still be in slumber.

"Greetings, Noah, from Midgard."

The soul-state Odin forced a small smile onto his usually stern face.

Odin had actually come in his soul state specifically to confirm something to Noah. The anomaly of the Destroyer was indeed Odin's doing. After Thor regained Mjolnir, he manipulated the Odin Force stored within Mjolnir. Then, when Mjolnir collided with the Destroyer, he used that wisp of Odin Force as a guide to activate the dormant Odin Force within the Destroyer.

The reason for doing this was that after Noah first came into contact with the Odin Force within Mjolnir, Odin noticed Noah. From the Odin Force, he sensed that the energy Noah used was not from the Nine Realms, or even from this Universe. This intrigued him, so he wanted to use the Destroyer to test Noah.

Thus, Odin now stood before Noah.

"So, King Odin, what brings you to me?" Noah asked, looking at the Odin before him.

"I see an extraordinary power within you, a power that seems not to belong to this World," Odin said calmly.

Upon hearing Odin's words, Noah understood why he had come. He could only say that the old man was indeed knowledgeable and well-traveled.

"Are you talking about this?" Noah's hand glowed with magic.

Looking at the magic in Noah's hand, Odin narrowed his left eye. Indeed, from the energy in Noah's hand, he sensed a trace of aura that did not belong to this World.

Odin also sensed that this power emanated from an item within Noah's body. Odin felt a very strong life aura from it, and even a hint of creation, which made Odin think of certain things.

'This power is somewhat like the Infinity Stones.'

However, Odin could now confirm that this Midgardian's background was certainly not simple. But, he was now a friend of Thor, which was a good thing. Perhaps in the future, he could even help Asgard during its coming crisis.

He felt that his time was almost up. From his increasingly uncontrollable Odin Force, which required constant Odin Sleep to calm the power within him, it was clear that he was truly old.

Moreover, Odin had long foreseen a catastrophe for Asgard in the future. He didn't know if his son Thor could protect Asgard and prevent the Twilight of the Gods from happening after his death. Therefore, he had to pave the way for his son in advance. He felt that Noah, this mysterious Midgardian, was very good, and if he could help his son in the future, it might allow Asgard to avoid the Destiny of the Twilight of the Gods.

However, for now, Odin felt it was still too early. In his perception, Noah was still too young. By Asgardian time reckoning, Noah was still an infant. Later, he would tell Thor about the Twilight of the Gods and let Thor decide what to do.

"Noah, by becoming friends with Thor, you are a friend of Asgard. Now, go and enjoy the Asgardian banquet." Odin finished speaking and left with a smile.

Noah was confused. Why did Odin ask him one question and then leave? And his words sounded like he wanted him to help with something.

'A riddler, huh, old man? Do you believe I'll explode your gold coins?' Noah hated riddlers the most.

But Noah put this matter aside for now. He wanted to continue what he had been interrupted from: summoning.

A blue vortex began to spin, and the familiar special effects appeared before Noah.
