Lucas managed to finalize Mrs. Ning's divorce surprisingly fast. With the mountain of charges stacked against Mr. Lin—and the additional complaints filed by his co-workers—the court didn't hesitate. His punishment was approved without resistance.

Marcus suddenly decided that he and Lucas should escape for a short two-day trip to the seaside. When Marcus informed him, Lucas agreed instantly. It had been so long since the two friends had gone anywhere just to relax.
Marcus wrapped up his pending work, arranged a short leave, and packed his bags. The two of them rode Marcus's bike for miles, the wind brushing past them as they headed toward the "Lacha" seaside.
Their hotel was already booked—right on the edge of the sea.
The moment they stepped into their room, Lucas walked to the large glass window and froze for a second. The sea stretched endlessly before him, the afternoon sun glinting off the waves. He could already imagine how stunning the sunset would look from here.
"Wow!" Lucas breathed, genuinely impressed. "Brother, you really picked an amazing place."
Marcus rolled his shoulders, stretching with a lazy smirk.
"Of course. This is actually the honeymoon suite, you know?"
Lucas turned to him sharply, eyes wide.
"What!? Are you serious!?"
Marcus raised an eyebrow, amused. "What happened? Too early for you?"
Lucas clicked his tongue and glared at him. "Shut up."
The room fell into an easy silence—two best friends, a perfect view, and a rare moment of peace after weeks of chaos.
