Telskyura is a country located far to the southeast of Orario.
Similar to Rakia, it is a nation-type Familia ruled by the Goddess Kali.
It is known across the world as a country of Amazons.
Men are not allowed within its borders, and any men found in the country are either slaves or tools used to produce the next generation of Amazons.
The nation is also known as the Country of Blood and Fighting, as well as the Amazons' Holy Land.
It is said that Amazons born there learn how to kill a Goblin before they learn how to speak.
Their first trial involves being placed in front of a baby Monster and seeing whether they kill it or are killed instead.
Telskyura is one of the few world powers, it derives its terrifying strength from the countless battles to the death that occur every day against monsters and even fellow Amazons in the colosseum.
It was because of these brutal traditions that the Kali Familia eventually produced two Level 6 combatants despite not possessing a Dungeon.
This made them far more dangerous than their counterpart, Rakia, whose strongest warriors reached Level 3 at most.
Furthermore, the Kali Familia was unique in the sense that it operated with two captains instead of one.
If the Kali Familia were to relocate to Orario, the Guild would immediately classify them as an S-Ranked Familia.
A prestigious rank currently held by only four factions: Loki, Freya, Astraea, and Ganesha.
And for Tiona and Tione, who had been born and raised in such a country, they were all too familiar with how Telskyura operated.
'Dammit! Why are they here?!'
Tione cursed inwardly, clenching her fists tightly as she slammed the door to the room they were staying in.
Memories of her past flashed through her mind.
No matter how much she tried to forget, she could still remember everything as clearly as if it had happened yesterday.
The blood on her hands.
The sight of the lifeless corpses of her fellow Amazon sisters.
As well as the death of Seldas, a precious older-sister figure whom she had admired.
'Damn it... damn it all.'
Because of the traditions of her country, she had killed the people she cared about with her own hands.
The traumatic upbringing she endured still haunted her to this day.
To the point that she wished she would never have to see or involve herself with Kali and the rest of Telskyura ever again.
Unfortunately, during their stay in Melen, she and the rest of the Loki Familia had encountered Kali and her children.
In particular, there was one face among them that she never wanted to see again.
"Argana..."
Argana Kalif, one of the two captains of the Kali Familia, a Level 6 whose thirst for battle could be said to be unmatched.
"Let him go."
Tione spoke with venom in her voice.
Beside her stood Tiona as the two strolled through town.
"Tione, huh? You've grown a lot."
Argana glanced over her shoulder while holding a man by the throat.
Looking at the woman who had taught her how to fight and could even be considered her mentor, there wasn't a trace of gratitude in Tione's eyes.
Instead, there was only pure, unadulterated hatred.
Faced with such a glare from a powerhouse like Tione, Argana merely grinned.
'They aren't going to fight right here, are they?'
Tiona thought, her head shifting repeatedly between the two.
The atmosphere between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
It didn't take long before the two sides began exchanging blows.
Their clashes shattered the ground beneath them, and the citizens of Melen immediately fled in panic to avoid being caught in the crossfire.
However, Tione immediately found her herself at a slight disadvantage.
'Damn it!'
Tione gritted her teeth, feeling her arm turning numb.
But before they could continue...
"That's enough."
"If you two keep this up, people are going to get hurt."
Loki arrived at the scene with a serious expression, and the two women immediately halted their brief battle.
"Argana, you too. Stand down."
Another voice came from nearby.
They turned their heads to see a little girl dressed in tribal-themed clothing with a skull mask covering her the upper-half of her face.
"It's our first time meeting each other. I'm Kali."
The little girl said, introducing herself as her gaze shifted toward Loki.
"I'm Loki. You must be the former patron deity of Tione and Tiona. I've heard a lot about you."
Loki replied, resting a hand on her hip.
"However, I don't need to remind you that they're members of my Familia now, you hear me?"
She continued, locking eyes with Kali as the two silently measured one another.
"Oh, I know. The fame of the Loki Familia can be heard even in Telskyura."
Kali replied calmly.
Then, her eyes lowered toward Loki's completely flat chest, and a trace of genuine confusion surfaced on her face.
"But... wasn't Loki supposed to be a woman? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?"
Hearing this, a prominent angry tick mark appeared on the side of Loki's forehead.
Anything involving her flat chest was a topic she was incredibly sensitive about.
"I'm a goddess! A super pretty goddess, dammit! And you're not exactly well-endowed yourself, you tiny runt!"
Loki shouted, pointing an accusatory finger at Kali's small figure.
"Tione... Tiona. It's good to see both of you again."
Kali said, completely ignoring Loki as her attention shifted to the Hiryute sisters.
"Dammit! Did you just ignore me? You've got some nerve, Tiny Runt Number Two!"
Loki's shouting had effectively become background noise.
"Kali..."
Tione spoke through gritted teeth.
"What did you come here to do?"
Tiona questioned directly.
"Oh, nothing much. Just some sightseeing."
Kali said with a casual shrug before turning around to leave.
"We'll be staying in this town for a while."
She added as Argana followed closely behind her.
"I hope to see you again, my beloved daughters."
That was the last thing she said before disappearing from sight.
'Tione...'
Tiona glanced toward her sister, whose hands were balled into trembling fists as she continued to glare in the direction where Kali had departed.
Compared to her older sister, although Tiona didn't hold any good impressions toward the Kali Familia either, she wasn't as deeply affected by her childhood
'I hope nothing bad happens.'
...
In the middle of the night, inside a dimly lit room of a local inn, Kali reclined lazily on a plush sofa, propping her head up on her palm.
Behind her stood an army of Amazons like silent shadows.
"You're all here. Perfect."
A sharp grin spread across Kali's face as she welcomed the newcomers.
"You really kept me waiting, Ishtar."
Stepping into the room was another large contingent composed almost entirely of Amazons.
At their head stood Ishtar, the Goddess of Beauty who ruled Orario's pleasure district.
Her wheat-colored skin caught the faint candlelight as she swayed her hips with every step.
"Greetings, Kali... it has been a while."
Ishtar replied, her Familia filling the room behind her.
Meanwhile, tucked away in a neglected corner, a cloaked figure stood silently beside Aisha.
Her face and body were completely concealed, but the animal-like ears protruding from her hood and the tail visible behind her made it obvious that she was a beastman rather than an Amazon.
Had Judas been present, he would have recognized her instantly.
But for now, as her green eyes faintly reflected the dim light, Sanjouno Haruhime simply kept her head lowered while the two goddesses began to scheme.
