Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: What If the Evil God Also Likes Matou Sakura?

"Poor little girl~ come out quickly~~ Our Lord God really likes you~~ Watching these foolish people defile your body with those lowly worms is something I just can't stand~~ Why don't you come with us instead? With your talent, you'll surely become our representative in this world!" Gilles de Rais' voice came again from inside the giant sea monster.

By now, the giant sea monster had reached the gates of the Holy Church. Countless tentacles lashed toward it.

In front of the church stood a huge barrier, blocking the monster completely and hiding the people inside from its senses.

To the sea monster, it looked like a big sphere with no idea what was inside, so it went crazy, pounding at it nonstop.

"Looks like your daughter is pretty popular, with so many people fighting over her," Gilgamesh said, watching the monster without a care, instead growing curious about Matou Sakura. Then the corners of his mouth lifted in a smirk. "An Imaginary Number attribute… truly rare. Even in my Uruk, I've barely seen a few."

Then Gilgamesh opened his Gate of Babylon and took out something about the size of a palm.

Tia was a bit far away, but with magic focused on her eyes, she could still see clearly—a blue cube about the size of a hand, made up of many small squares. One side was missing some squares, and the corner connected to that missing side was also incomplete.

That's…!

The moment Tia saw it, her heart jumped. That thing was far too familiar!

Mooncell!

Right now, Tia wanted nothing more than for this giant sea monster to get out of the way—it was blocking her view! All she wanted to know was how Gilgamesh got that thing, and why he was giving it to Matou Sakura. But she didn't dare move closer, so she could only use magic to sharpen her hearing, trying to catch every word from here. Which meant the giant sea monster was just in the way.

"Lance! Use your Noble Phantasm and cut that thing down for me!" Tia sent the words through the Master-Servant link.

"What about these scavenged Noble Phantasms?"

"Leave them for now, we'll pick them up later," Tia replied.

This sea monster wasn't the same one Gilles personally summoned and controlled at the river earlier, so Tia figured Lancelot alone could handle it.

"But I… am Berserker… I can only use For Someone's Glory if I return… to the Saber class! And… the King… is already here… close to you, Master…"

Just as Lancelot said that, King Arthur came flying out from the bushes on a motorcycle, with Irisviel holding onto her waist so tightly she didn't dare loosen her grip even for a second. The way Arthur raced through the forest was so wild that Irisviel felt like she'd get flung off at any moment. It even made her reflect on her own driving and feel a little guilty.

When the bike finally stopped, Irisviel let out a sigh of relief and got off with King Arthur.

In the next moment, Arthur's suit changed back into her magical armor, and with her Invisible Air-covered sword in hand, she charged straight at the giant sea monster.

"Yah!" With a fierce shout, Arthur swung her blade down. With a sharp sound cutting through the air, the sword slashed down hard. With a wet tearing noise, the monster split in two—but within a few breaths, it was whole again.

"If it were that easy to kill, we'd have dealt with it long ago," said Diarmuid as he walked over, spear in hand. "Does the King of Knights have a Noble Phantasm that can finish it in one strike?"

"Of course," King Arthur nodded, then looked down at her right hand. Her right hand was still wounded from Diarmuid's Yellow Rose of Mortality in their first fight, and the curse still lingered, refusing to heal.

"I see… so that's how it is." Diarmuid paused for a moment, then lifted his head, ready to break his own Yellow Rose.

"Gilles de Rais isn't here. Even if you kill it, it'll just come back. Doing that now is just a waste," Tia whispered quietly from the ox cart, not wanting the others to know.

"Hm?" Waver heard her and froze. "Then why don't you just tell them out loud?"

"Hey! King of Knights! This little one just said, 'Gilles de Rais isn't here. Even if you kill it, it'll just come back. Doing that now is just a waste,'" Alexander the Great shouted at the top of his lungs, pointing straight at Tia.

Tia saw Alexander pointing at her and immediately lowered her head, avoiding King Arthur's gaze—or maybe she just didn't dare look.

"Hm? Who?" King Arthur turned to look.

Diarmuid also turned his head.

Kayneth looked too, but when he saw Waver on the ox cart, he gave a cold snort. Then his eyes shifted to Tia, who was also on the cart. His brows furrowed slightly. "Huh? That kid from before?"

"King of Conquerors! Didn't I tell you to send him away? Why didn't you do that? Instead, you dragged him into the Holy Grail War!" King Arthur also saw Tia and immediately turned to question Alexander the Great.

"You'll have to ask him yourself," Alexander the Great said, glancing at Tia from the corner of his eye.

Tia silently called out to Lancelot in her heart while softly chanting under her breath: "Command Seals! Let Lancelot return to the Saber class and unleash the Noble Phantasm, Lake Light Without Regret!"

The next moment, Lancelot, who was hiding in the shadows, felt the change in his body. He quickly tossed aside the pile of Noble Phantasms into the grass, then slowly walked out. The black mist around him faded away, revealing a knight in shining white armor with a flowing white cape. He looked noble and heroic, and in his hands was a golden greatsword, the tip pressed firmly against the ground.

"Berserker?" Diarmuid froze for a moment.

"That figure… that sword… could it be…" King Arthur was filled with excitement, because she had recognized him.

Lancelot had now returned to his Saber class, a true knight, his aura no weaker than King Arthur's.

"My king, forgive me. Allow me to slay this monster first, then I will face your judgment!" Lancelot gave a perfect knight's salute.
