Chapter 10 - Chapter 09 - My Body

I felt my soul connected to this strange matter. At first, I thought of simply tearing it apart with a bombardment of particles. But then I noticed something phenomenal: the matter was growing and adapting to my soul.

— "What shape will it take?" — I thought, fascinated, feeling the evolution happening before me through my soul.

I avoided absorbing more matter after that, so as not to interfere with the strange matter. Of course, I tried to take just a piece, but the reaction wasn't good. So I stopped, cautious, observing every movement.

— "I wish I had a way to observe this process better… wait, I do." — I thought, carefully spreading particles, keeping them inert. They were so tiny and limited in number that they posed no danger of interfering with the growth.

Soon, I got a basic view of what was happening: the matter seemed to grow, absorbing certain elements around it, adapting almost organically to my soul.

— "For a moment, this growth… resembles a living body?" — I thought, confused. So, was I essentially being reincarnated? Into what?

Feeling the shape of the strange object, I realized it was still just a sphere without definition. However, I could feel the matter dividing into particles, as if beginning to structure itself, slowly shaping into something more complex.

— *"Now this is a problem…" * — I thought, apprehensive. If it were a living body, because of the connection to my soul, it would already be inseparable. The issue was that my soul was made of my own matter, while the physical body wasn't.

— "Should I replace some of the matter?" — I considered, but quickly realized I had no idea what material to use based on the catalog I had so far.

I decided to leave it for later — after all, the body would grow, and matter replacement could be done gradually.

I continued observing the development through the inert particles. Soon, the sphere began taking human form. I could perceive that when the brain was structured, the interaction became much more intense. Now, I didn't even need the particles to feel it: I could sense my limbs growing gradually.

However, I still couldn't move. It seemed the muscles weren't fully formed yet.

After some time observing the body's growth, I noticed an anomaly. I felt a connection forming between body, mind, and soul — and then a will descended upon my body. Unlike the previous will, this one was weaker, but incredibly intrusive. Moreover, it was subtly altering my soul.

— "If it were the body, there might be a chance… but the soul is my domain." — From what I sensed, it was like a backdoor attempting to install itself in my soul. Without hesitation, I purged the modification. The question remained: perhaps something similar had been inserted into the body, since it wasn't made of my own matter…

"I'll deal with that later."

Some time passed since the incident, and I could move freely. However, my body began sending signs of fatigue; after several kicks, exhaustion set in — quite inconvenient. But the reason for kicking so much was clear: to gather information.

With every kick, voices whispered something unknown, or a sensation of physical touch arose from the outside.

However, as I kept kicking, the reactions gradually diminished until they stopped completely…

"How annoying." — With nothing else to do, I began experimenting with concepts in my domain.

I had already analyzed the concept of the soul thoroughly, but occasionally, surprises appeared. I discovered, for example, that it had slots — connection points — that allowed it to link to other concepts. I theorized that one connected to the body, perhaps another to the mind.

I tried creating a soul similar to the one I had found in the foreign domain, but central concepts were always missing. The result never felt right; something was always "out of place."

The concept of will was especially delicate. I couldn't simply apply it to particles as before; it had to be inserted directly into the soul. Without that integration, nothing worked properly.

— "So much for my plan to create a thinking particle with will…" — I murmured, frustrated.

While racking my brain trying to figure out how to create a soul, I felt a stimulus coming from my body. I decided to leave the domain and focus entirely on it.

Looking ahead, all I saw was a blur of red. It was good to see again, but what truly caught my attention was a voice speaking to me. Unlike the soft voice I was used to, this one was deep, firm, commanding.

I soon realized my body was energized, more active than usual; even my development seemed accelerated.

— "Are they giving me some kind of drug to speed up my growth?" — I thought, surprised and wary.

— "But then again, isn't this better? The sooner I leave, the better." — As for potential damage? I'd deal with it after birth.

And so time passed. When there was no stimulus from the body, I focused on tests in the domain; when there was, I shifted my attention to it.

Until I felt a change in pressure around my body, a shift in temperature, and voices began to emerge. After months of cataloging the language, I could already infer some things.

— "Come on, Lady ####" — hearing that voice made my body react.

Soon, spasms began, pushing me toward the light.

And that's how I was born again…
