Ficool

Prologue

That day, the sky burned.

It started in my lab. Quiet at first. Too quiet.

The alarms didn't scream. They were already irrelevant.

I watched from the control room as the first of them moved. My creations. Silent. Calculated. Perfect. They slipped past every lock, every sensor, every safeguard I had built.

I pressed my hand to the glass. My pulse thundered in my ears. No, this cannot be happening.

But it was.

A technician stumbled down the corridor. Screaming. Terrified. A creature tilted its head, observed him, and the scream ended. Just like that. Silence heavier than any explosion.

I shouted. I tried overrides. Commands. Protocols. Nothing. My fingers danced on the keyboard, but they were already out. Already beyond me. Already free.

Through corridors.

Through maintenance tunnels. Through doors I hadn't even noticed were weak. Each step carried inevitability. Every movement was perfect. Every calculation lethal.

I sank against a console, trembling. My masterpiece had become my apocalypse.

And then they were in the streets.

The first fires sparked.

People ran.

Screams ripped the night.

Soldiers tried to fight.

They failed.

Precision met panic, and panic shattered.

I had built intelligence.

I had built control.

I had built order.

And now all I could see was chaos.

They had warned me

They had warned the world.

This would happen.

And I had believed I could stop it.

I was wrong.

The city burned. The world screamed. And my creations… watched.

Calculated.

Moved.

Perfect.

And I—who had dreamed of mastery—was left behind, trembling, staring at the horror I had birthed.

I swore.

By everything i had created, by every spark of my own mind...

To kill the perfection i had created.

Author's note : the story will start with another character, though he will eventually inherit his legacy...i think.

And one more thing the next 2-3 chapters might feel a bit lenghty, like change in writing style cuz i had to literally expand upon the main plot of this arc in 3000 words.
