Georgina finished scrubbing down her crocodile tears until they gleamed, clearly proud of her work. When Richard tried to make a comment about it…or perhaps looked uneasy…she burst out laughing at him, amused by his reaction.
" What do you expect? I love watching our son reject you. I could watch it all day if it were a movie. Richard, do you know the amazing part? The amazing part is our son having my last name and not yours which simply means I'm the winner while you are the big dump loser", Georgina laughed hysterically,
" Georgina, you see the hatred Miguel has towards me will be much better than the hatred he will have towards you when he finds out the truth soon. Keep playing the victim card remember darkness can never overshadow the sun, when is the sun turns to shine", Richard said, and prepared to leave,
" Richard, hear this. I, Georgina Rodriguez, will never allow you to take my son away from me. Never!!", Georgina furiously said,
" My dear Georgina, time will tell. I will say it again: Miguel's hatred towards me will be better than the hatred he will possess towards you when he finds out the truth someday. You can't be a saint when your heart is impure, Goodnight Miss Rodriguez, and think about this conversation", Richard bids Georgina goodbye with a look of upset and sadness for the fact that his son still hates him,
" Richard Leeds, you will never win. I will do everything in my power to make sure Miguel doesn't find out the truth. I can't lose in this game", Georgina soliloquized.
Lucas woke up feeling refreshed and prepared for the day ahead. He quickly got dressed, had a quick breakfast, and mentally reviewed his tasks for work. With a sense of readiness, he left his home and headed out, ready to face the day.
Lucas walked into his office and was immediately greeted by his secretary, Lisa, a young woman in her late twenties with a professional yet friendly demeanor.
She smiled at Lucas, "Good morning sir. How was your night?"
" My night was good, what's my schedule for today?", Lucas asked,
" You will be having a board meeting with the CEO of an elite company, and by 3pm, you have a Zoom meeting with Mr Chou, one of the Chinese investors. So that's all for today's schedule sir", Lisa listed,
" You really look beautiful and smart today Lisa", Lucas lustfully complimented,
" Thank you, sir"
" Did you put on the red lingerie I sent you last night", Lucas asked,
" Yes, sir that's what I'm putting on just as you instructed", Lisa answered,
" That's my good girl…why not have some little romance before my schedule begins? I have really missed you", Lucas grabbed Lisa by the hips and pulled her closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, matching his intensity. The kiss started slow and sensual, but it quickly turned more passionate as they pulled each other closer, unable to get enough. Lucas lifted her up and sat her down on top of his desk, never breaking the kiss. His hands roamed over her body as he deepened the kiss even further, their tongues exploring each other's mouths.
An hour later, Lucas and Lisa were both trying to catch their breath. They were both covered in a light sweat and their clothes were disheveled and rumpled. Lucas had a satisfied smirk on his face as he played with a strand of Lisa's hair.
"That was...unexpected," he said, still slightly out of breath,
" Unexpected excitement", Lisa said,
" I will reward you for your performance before the end of today", Lucas said,
" I trust you, sir, I will be waiting for the slip"
" Go clean yourself up", Lucas instructed,
" Alright, sir", Lisa said. She left the office while Lucas organized his rumpled clothes.
Lisa was in the company restroom, fixing her appearance after her intimate moment with Lucas. She was splashing water on her face when she heard the door open and her colleague, Sarah, walked in.
"Hey, Lisa," Sarah greeted,
" Hey, Sarah, how are you doing?" Lisa asked,
" I'm great…I noticed you were disorganized while coming out of the boss's office. Did anything happen?", Sarah curiously asked,
" Lisa paused for a moment, trying to act casual. "Oh, yeah. We were just discussing some work stuff."
" Lisa, when are you going to quit your intimate relationship with the boss?"
" What are you talking about? I don't understand what you mean",
" Lisa, for goodness' sake, you are just his sex toy. He has a wife even if he wants a mistress you aren't in his league", Sarah said,
" Can you please stop Sarah?, I'm not interested in your lectures this morning I'm happy with what I'm doing cause I know the boss loves me", Lisa implied,
" You think the Boss loves you?"Sarah asked with laughter, and Lisa rolled her eyes at Sarah's comment.
"Don't be ridiculous. It's not like that," she said, trying to brush it off"
" If you think the Boss has good intentions towards you, then go and inform him you are 2 weeks pregnant with his child"
" How?.. How did you find out?", Lisa surprisingly asked,
" Forgive me for eavesdropping on your conversation with your aunt on the phone a few days ago", Sarah confessed,
" Sarah, please don't say anything to anyone, not even the boss. If he finds out he will hate me not just that he will take this job from me and you know so well this is my source of living", Lisa pleaded,
" Lisa, I have no intention of saying a word to anyone. I'm just worried about you and I pray someday you will free yourself from this lifestyle cause having an affair with a married man is totally wrong"
" I'm doing this for a reason, a reason that's beneficial for me and my unborn child. I'm in the process of breaking free when it's complete I'm going to sign out just trust me Sarah", Lisa briefly said,
" In whatever you are planning to do Lisa, I wish you all the best", Sarah said and hugged Lisa who felt relieved,
" I will get back to my duty post", Lisa informed and carried her phone and left the restroom.
As Lisa walked out of the restroom, Sarah couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. She had always been attracted to Lucas herself, but he had never looked at her the way he looked at Lisa. And the fact that Lisa was pregnant only made her more resentful.
Sarah made up her mind right then and there - she was going to ruin Lisa's happiness and take her place by Lucas' side. She smirked to herself, already formulating a plan to expose Lisa's pregnancy to the boss.
" Let the game begin Lisa Archer", Sarah soliloquized with a smile.
