Ryan's father sat in his study, flipping through old documents. His face was stern, his thoughts heavy. Suzan walked in quietly, bowing slightly.
"You sent for me," she said.
"Yes," he replied, looking up. "It's about Ryan."
Suzan folded her arms. "He's still with that human girl, isn't he?"
His father's eyes darkened. "Yes. And it's weakening him. An Alpha cannot be distracted the way he is. That girl doesn't belong in our world."
Suzan sat down across from him, her expression calm but her eyes sharp. "So what do you want me to do?"
He leaned forward. "You've known Ryan for years. He trusts you. I want you to get close to him again. Make him question his human mate. If his trust in her breaks, their bond will break too."
Suzan raised a brow. "You want me to seduce him?"
His father gave a slow nod. "If that's what it takes. Show him what it means to be with someone of his own kind. Someone strong, someone who understands the pack."
Suzan smirked faintly. "That won't be hard. Ryan may act cold, but deep down, he'll remember me. He always does."
"Good," his father said firmly. "Do whatever you must. But keep this between us. Ryan must not know I had a hand in it."
Suzan stood, smoothing her dress. "Consider it done. I'll make sure she loses him."
She left the room with quiet confidence. Ryan's father leaned back in his chair, his jaw tight. He told himself it was for the good of the pack. But deep down, he knew he had just given Suzan the power to tear Ryan's life apart.
