"So it's like Deadpool's infinite resurrection?" Lin Chen muttered."Even if only a single finger is left, I can still recover? This is far stronger than the regeneration Poison Ivy gave me."
The soreness in his waist and the weakness in his limbs vanished in moments.
"This gives me a waist forged in gold. Saving lives I understand—but what about saving the spirit?"
Lin Chen shook his head."From now on, I can throw away my goji-berry thermos."
When he stepped outside, the queen's guard—Amazon female warriors—were all glowing with vitality. They saluted him and laughed softly.
"Consort, Her Majesty and the Princess are talking over there. Would you like to go see them?"
Lin Chen shook his head. He washed up, ate, and soon felt bored. Looking at all the women around him, an idea suddenly came to mind.
"Bored… why don't we play hide-and-seek?"
Everyone happily agreed.
Meanwhile, Diana was arguing with the Queen.
She wanted to take the Mother Box away, but the Queen refused. The Amazons had guarded it for generations—how could they give it up?
"You aren't strong enough to protect it," Diana said."Lin Chen and I can't stay here forever. There are three Mother Boxes—we have to protect the other two as well."
The Queen insisted they should stay. She even said she had long wanted to hold her granddaughter.
Diana nearly exploded.
They parted on bad terms.
Fuming, Diana stormed out—and immediately heard laughter.
"Consort, here we are!""Over here!""Hee-hee, His Highness is so stupid!"
Diana walked over—and almost fainted from rage.
Lin Chen had a blindfold over his eyes and was chasing the Queen's Guards around the garden.
"Damn it! I'm fighting with my mother about the fate of the world, and he's here on vacation playing emperor?!"
Diana marched over and glared at him—but Lin Chen was blindfolded.
He bumped into her and hugged her.
"Caught one! Are you Maria or Sophia? Your figure is just like Diana's!"
The Amazon warriors burst into laughter.
Diana snapped. She ripped off his blindfold.
"It's me!"
Lin Chen grinned."So it really is Diana. I knew—this figure is too good to be anyone else."
The emperor game was over.
Diana shoved him aside."Do you remember what we're here for?!"
"To look at Victoria's Secret—no, to save the world."
"My mother won't let us take the Mother Box. She even wants me to bring her a granddaughter!"
Lin Chen nodded."That's too much. Why not a grandson? Paradise Island is way too biased against boys."
Diana almost collapsed."That's not the point!"
"I'll go talk to her again!"
She left in anger, then turned back and warned him:
"Don't play such stupid games!"
Lin Chen nodded obediently.
After another failed argument, Diana returned—only to find Lin Chen missing again.
"Damn it! I brought a mouse into the rice jar!"
She searched and finally found him in a small forest. Lin Chen was sitting beside a picnic box.
"Diana, you misunderstood—we're just playing."
Diana completely lost it.
She drew her Vulcan sword, placed it against his neck, and shouted:
"I'm leaving! If you don't leave, I'll kill you first—and then kill myself!"
Lin Chen stared."Calm down… are you on your period or something?"
"Fine, fine. Let's go back to Gotham."
He waved to the Amazons.
"Ladies, I'll see you next time."
Diana kicked him hard."Move!"
Lin Chen could only grab Diana and fly away.
Cries of protest rose from below.
Lin Chen sighed."What an injustice…"
Diana snapped,"What exactly have you been doing these two days?!"
Lin Chen looked slightly melancholy."Diana… what about the Mother Box?"
Diana patted the pack on her back."I already stole it. Let's hurry—my mother will notice soon."
"You're incredible," Lin Chen laughed, accelerating.
He tried to store the Mother Box in his spatial ring—but its energy was too great. The ring might collapse if he forced it.
"This ring is too weak. I need a proper spatial bag next time."
Since the plane was gone, Lin Chen had to carry Diana all the way back to Gotham, resting briefly on islands along the way.
Back in Gotham, Lin Chen muttered,"Next time I meet her mother, I'd better be stronger."
Then he found out Mera had left on her own to protect the Mother Box.
"That girl really needs discipline!"
"And nobody even cooked dinner tonight!"
Lin Chen summoned Batman for a meeting.
Batman arrived not only with Miranda—but also with The Flash.
The Flash was ecstatic."Master, you're my idol! I finally get to meet you in person!"
Lin Chen glanced at him."You look decent. Got a girlfriend?"
Flash looked at Catwoman, Serena, Diana, and the others with envy."I'm still single. Master, teach me your ways."
"First, you have to be specific."
Flash: "…"
"Second, you have to be handsome."
Miranda chuckled."Master, you're so funny."
Lin Chen thought silently:Whether Bane was wearing Batman's green hat, or Batman was wearing Bane's—only Aquaman's wife probably knew.
Miranda inhaled deeply."Master, the air here feels wonderful. Everyone's skin is glowing. What's the secret?"
Lin Chen took out a jade pendant."This. Wear it long-term and it nourishes the skin."
Catwoman and Harley exchanged looks."He's giving jade away again?!"

Diana placed the Mother Box on the table.
Its surface pulsed, energy constantly overflowing.
Batman frowned."The Mother Box's energy leaks constantly. It can summon Steppenwolf on its own. Wherever it is, it's a hot potato."
Lin Chen didn't want to bring Steppenwolf straight to Gotham and get his women hurt.
Harley suddenly held up her phone.
"Priest, Vought is slandering you again. They say you disrespect women and spend money raising girls."
"Deep also claims you burned him and wants compensation."
"And Homelander says you have power but don't use it to fight crime—that you're a salted fish who ignores responsibility."
Lin Chen snapped.
"I helped kill Doomsday and saved Europe! Where was he then? He thinks he's strong?"
Suddenly, Lin Chen knew exactly where to put the Mother Box.
Diana smiled."Looks like Vought Tower is about to be destroyed."
Batman nodded."That's a good idea."
Flash blinked."I don't understand what you're planning at all."
Everyone moved into action.
Diana went to recruit Cyborg.Batman went to find Aquaman.Flash followed Lin Chen.
