Chapter 1 - Tea party begins

The tower of arcanetia silently floated silently in the air .It's black colour reflecting the midday sun.it stood tall and imposing a grand testament of the miracles witches could conjure up.

The tower had no doors or windows as only those who were invited could go in and today happened to be one of those days as the witches teaparty was being held.

The room was neatly arranged with a round table at it's centre with chairs that radiated from it in a uniform manner. On the grand table mostly made of the mystical blackwood lay Twelve teacups each arranged by the seat.

This was the venue of the teaparty a staple for the nine witches who founded this tower as evidenced by the nine chairs. The room was empty with no sound only the lighting from the silver chandelier at the room cast a glow of light giving it an homely ambivalence.

The ice witch was the first to arrive and the temperature in the room dropped upon her arrival with a layer of frosted air appearing on the table.she was a mature woman tall and elegant .She had short white hair , blue eyes that seemed to hold a profound chill but what truly stood out was her face she was beautiful and unnaturally so.Her temperament also was cold seemingly indifferent to all around as if a solitary flower admist icy plains.

She walked slowly before picked her seat and the teacup before as it filled with tea automatically.

The second to arrive was the dream witch ,she drifted towards the room as if an ethereal spectre onto her seat. She didnot say a word before pulling a pillow from the empty space and laying to sleep right there. She was in the form a young girl of only medium height with a chaotic spectrum of coloured hair that lay lazily on her head .Her eyes were always a mystery as no one had ever seen them as ,Dream, was rarely awake.

The ice witch did not seem to notice her presence continued to sip her tea slowly not bothered by her sleeping companion.

The next to arrive was the starwitch 'commonly' referred to as princess shimmerlin ,her presence lighting up the room in irridiscent star light. Her over the top dramatic flair was only topped by her clothes a dark dress that was embedded in tiny jewels that formed a tapestry of the night sky on her body. The dress also complimented her hair which was dark but would occasionally burst forth tiny mottled lights.

"Good evening dream and snow"

Star spoke in her classical greeting which never changed even at different times. As she sat down at her chair the empty chair next to her was suddenly filled by a young girl in a gothic dress her black hair tied into braids and the ever present smirk present on her face .The witch of shadows had arrived.

Two light flashed simultaneously as two girls dressed in clothes you would commonly find in young nobles appeared .They were of similar faces only notable differences being on their colour of hair and eyes where one had deep blue hair and eyes the other had blond hair and auburn eyes. They each took their respective seats.

"Good evening sea and moon ,"star ever the enthusiastic one greeted them to which they uniformly nodded their eyes and seemed to focus on the teacups in the tables with no intention to chat with star .

The Book Witch was the next to arrive, and she carried six hundred books, all of which were levitating and lecturing each other in whispers. She herself was rather small and had ink stains on her cheeks, nose, and left eyebrow. Her small and petite frame made her look rather cute if not for the knowing glance she had on her which were hidden by the glasses she wore.

The Key Witch slipped in behind her, jangling softly with every step. Keys dangled from her hair, her dress, her belt, her ankles. She seemed perpetually one turn away from opening everything and locking everything else. She tapped each teacup with a tiny brass key before sitting, for reasons unknown.

The final witch to arrive was the Death Witch, who entered as though she were walking through the aftermath of a funeral. A black veil floated around her pale face, and she carried a scythe much too large to be practical. Her presence was chilling and if a mortal steeped before her would surely die.

"The tea party officially begins" announced snow.
