"...Is something wrong, Syl'Vyr?" I ask, noticing how much more reserved she's being. She looks at me, then at Eve, and they've been in this tense mood ever since we left Kjori's shop.
"Eve and I just had a little disagreement, Evelyn-chan, but it's nothing. So, how was it? Was your training with that man pleasant? You look... stressed." She says, hitting the nail on the head. I am tired and stressed.
"Yes! It was stressful! But it was fun! I'm not mad at Kjori, I just think his training is harsh. After all, we spent 10 straight hours with him evaluating what I did and what I needed to improve." I say, placing my mask on the bed in the inn room where Eve and I stayed before.
We've already paid for the room, and since we're adventurers, the room stayed empty all this time until we returned.
'There's no space here for Syl'Vyr... maybe we need a new, bigger room.' I see Eve also placing her mask on the bed as I sit down, watching the tension in the air.
