The Hungarian Horntail is the most aggressive and dangerous of all dragons. It is covered in thick, black scales, has eyes of a vibrant yellow, snake-like vertical pupils, and is adorned with countless bronze-horned spikes around its head. Its long tail also sports similar bronze-colored spikes, earning it the nickname "the porcupine among dragons." Of course, the Horntail is far more dangerous than any porcupine.

Dudley and the three dragons he had "tamed" stopped about twenty meters away from the Horntail. Unlike with the Welsh Green, this was the safe distance for the Horntail, as its fiery breath has the longest range of all dragons, reaching up to 50 feet (about fifteen meters).

Dudley gestured for the three dragons to stay put, and he advanced on the Horntail alone. The dragon, facing him, bared its sharp teeth, letting out a warning roar as its huge eyes radiated with a dangerous light. Its guttural roar was reminiscent of a Norwegian Ridgeback, though to the untrained eye, there wasn't much of a difference between the two species. But the Norwegian Ridgeback is the world's most valuable dragon breed.

Dudley approached the Horntail with a completely different demeanor. Most notably, he showed no intention of trying to communicate with it.

"Why isn't he saying anything? Isn't he going to use Parseltongue?"

"Maybe his Parseltongue isn't good enough. The Hungarian Horntail has such a bad temper; if you can't communicate with it, you can't get away."

"Then what will he do? The Hungarian Horntail is the most dangerous of the four dragons."

The spectators were buzzing with discussion, their hands clammy with worry for Dudley.

"Look, he's pulled out his wand!"

Dudley drew his ironwood wand and faced the Horntail. Everything he was doing today had one purpose: to make a name for himself. His previous low profile was just to bide his time. The noseless senior was about to return, and there was no point in remaining a nobody. Being famous would offer many advantages. Of course, he knew to keep a few tricks up his sleeve. That's why he'd used the magical beast language to imitate Parseltongue and deal with the three more docile dragons first, rather than trying to take on all four at once.

He would make sure the world remembered the name Dursley starting today. Slowly, he pointed his wand at the Hungarian Horntail. He revealed his hydraulic-press-like teeth and pulled four objects from his pocket, tossing them into the air.

With a flick of his wand and a flash of magic, the objects suddenly grew much bigger. The spectators and judges widened their eyes. From a distance, most wizards couldn't see Dudley's movements, only that four things had suddenly appeared, which shocked them.

"Oh my, the champion Dursley... he's summoned four dragons!" Bagman cried out in a hoarse voice, like a duck with its throat squeezed.

Indeed, they were four dragons, identical in appearance to the four on the field. The moment they appeared, not only were the spectators stunned, but the Hungarian Horntail was momentarily taken aback. But the four summoned dragons gave it no time to react. They opened their maws filled with sharp teeth and lunged at the Horntail.

Summoning magic isn't unheard of in the wizarding world, but it has been lost for a very, very long time—even longer than the language of the dragons. Records in magical history mention only one wizard who managed to summon a pig and get crushed to death by it. Everything else is practically non-existent.

A single spell to summon four dragons? Not even He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named could do that. The crowd was utterly shaken. They had lost count of how many times they'd been amazed today.

"No, it's a combination spell of Engorgement and Transfiguration. A very advanced charm," Dumbledore said, his eyes turning deep. He lowered his iconic half-moon spectacles, revealing his blue eyes as he watched Dudley on the field.

Lucius Malfoy glanced at him, also watching Dudley with a complex look. It was an expression of great relief and a hint of understanding. He finally understood why Draco praised Dursley so much and was willing to follow his every command. It wasn't just because of Dursley's talent, but because his talent was unbelievably good. A wizard with this level of skill at his age... in time, he would surpass others by a hundred steps. It was only a matter of time before he replaced Dumbledore and Voldemort.

Unfortunately, Draco had no idea what Lucius was thinking. If he did, he would have told his father, "D-man hasn't just surpassed others by a hundred steps, Dad. He's taken a plane and done a full circle."

Compared to the two of them, the looks on the faces of Karkaroff and Madam Maxime were much more grim. Even at their level, they couldn't tell that it was a combination spell. However, they could snark at Dumbledore, but no one would question Dumbledore's magical expertise. This was especially true for Karkaroff, whose school, Durmstrang, had expelled a mad wizard decades ago who had caused a stir not much less than Voldemort's. In the end, it was Dumbledore who had to deal with him.

The four dragons were fighting, and the "summoned" ones could even breathe fire. The only difference was that their flames didn't have the same characteristics as a true dragon's breath. Even so, it was more than enough to give the Hungarian Horntail a real thrashing.

Dudley stood still, his eyes closed. He was in a state of deep meditation, using his meditative magic.

Ding...

His mind was still like water, and a single drop seemed to fall, creating a ripple on the surface. Then came the second and third sounds. He slowly opened his eyes, his three meditation boosts complete.

Dudley raised his wand again.

"Bombarda Maxima!"

With a loud bang, a ball of fire erupted from the chest of the Horntail, which was still fighting the three miniature dragons. The explosion sent its body flying backward as if it had been hit with a sledgehammer. Then came a second, then a third.

Dudley waved his wand like a conductor, each motion causing the Hungarian Horntail to let out a mournful roar. In a short time, the dragon was covered in blood. Given a dragon's magical resistance, the fact that it was so severely injured showed how terrifyingly powerful Dudley's spells were. And this was with Dudley holding back... He didn't intend to truly kill the Hungarian Horntail, so it only looked pathetic.

Even with Dudley's restrained attack, the other wizards were still completely shocked. The two other heads of school, Madam Maxime and Karkaroff, were clearly not on Dumbledore's level. Their skills were barely enough to compete with a Hogwarts Head of House. Their practical combat skills were almost non-existent in the books. Karkaroff was scared senseless by the news of Voldemort's return and then died a mysterious death. These two were heads of two of the three greatest wizarding schools? They were far too weak.
