Xiao Wu skipped over with a bright grin on her face. She started to recount their thrilling and funny experience, using big gestures to show what happened. While she talked, Ye Yin walked toward the dead Spirit Saint. He leaned down to check the body. He searched the man and found a token that belonged to a Spirit Hall bishop, along with some other small items. Most importantly, he found a secret letter.
As Ye Yin read the letter, his eyes turned very cold. The letter was written to this specific bishop. The orders were very clear: "At all costs, capture Ye Yin alive. You must find out all his secrets, especially how he mutates spirits and makes spirit rings stronger. If you cannot catch him, kill him immediately!" The signature at the bottom was from the Elder Palace. This order came from the very top of Spirit Hall.
"Heh..." Ye Yin sneered as he tucked the letter away. It seemed like his actions in the Star Luo Imperial Capital had finally made the high-ranking officials of Spirit Hall want him dead. This attack was likely just the start of his troubles. The road ahead was not going to be peaceful at all. He looked toward the deep parts of the Star Dou Great Forest. Instead of being afraid, a bright light burned in his eyes.
Xiao Wu continued her story for Dugu Yan, who had just finished absorbing her new spirit ring. She described the battle in a very exciting way. She made sure to mention how the scary Spirit Saint turned into a soft teddy bear that just wanted hugs. Dugu Yan's eyes went wide, and her mouth dropped open. Finally, she couldn't stop herself from laughing. She shook with joy.
"Pfft... ha ha ha! Yin-ge, you're way too devious! But I really like it!" Dugu Yan said between laughs. She was a strong person and she didn't like Spirit Hall at all, so she felt very happy about their defeat. After she finished laughing, she felt the new power rushing through her body. She looked at her brand-new fifth spirit ring with a look of pure excitement. "Oh right! Yin-ge, I got a really powerful fifth Spirit Ability!"
Everyone turned to look at her right away. Dugu Yan smiled with pride, and her deep black fifth spirit ring suddenly began to glow. "Fifth Spirit Ability: Jade Phosphor Heavenly Poison Miasma!" She gave a small shout and opened her mouth. A thick, dark green poisonous mist shot out. It looked almost solid. This mist didn't just drift away; it grew and moved as if it were alive. In an instant, a swirling area of green poison over ten meters wide appeared in front of her.
Inside the mist, the air seemed to twist and make cracking sounds. The grass and plants on the ground turned black and died instantly. Even the rocks started to get holes in them from the acid. What was even weirder was that the mist blocked mental senses. It was impossible to see anything clearly inside it.
"That's some very strong poison! It looks so eerie," Dai Mubai shouted. He felt that even his White Tiger Barrier wouldn't last very long if he got caught in that mist. Zhu Zhuqing had sharp eyes and added, "It looks like it messes with your senses, too."
Ye Yin nodded because he was happy with the result. "It does continuous damage over a large area. It burns things and hides your movement. It's a very good Spirit Ability for control and damage. Congratulations, Yan Yan." Dugu Yan was very happy to hear Ye Yin's praise. She waved her hand, and the green mist disappeared. "From now on, if anyone causes trouble, I'll let them taste my Jade Phosphor Heavenly Poison Miasma first!"
Once they finished looking at the new ability, everyone looked at the prisoners. One Spirit Saint was dead, and two Spirit Emperors were badly hurt and knocked out. The other three Spirit Emperors had lost their spirit power and were now doing a dance they couldn't stop. Their faces were full of fear. There were also two more Spirit Emperors who had eaten the "Loose Lips Bubblegum." They were still busy telling everyone each other's embarrassing secrets.
"Yin-ge, what should we do with these people?" Dai Mubai asked. He looked at Ye Yin to see what he thought. The easiest thing to do was just to kill them. "It would be a pity to kill them," Ye Yin said. He walked over to the two men who were still talking. He took out two new pieces of Loose Lips Bubblegum. While they watched in terror, he made them eat the gum again. This made sure they would keep talking for a few more hours. "Keep these two away from the dancers. We will take them back to the capital and give them to General Lei Meng. Maybe he can get some Spirit Hall secrets out of them."
Dai Mubai nodded. He agreed that the men were worth more alive. Then, Ye Yin looked at the three men who were still tap-dancing. A funny look flashed in his eyes. "As for these three... they have such great dance moves. It would be a waste to just put them in a dark jail." He pulled out a Memory Crystal he had won from a lottery before. He found the best angles and recorded the whole rhythmic dance.
"Send this video to the biggest theaters and bars in Star Luo City," Ye Yin said with a grin. "Call it 'Spirit Hall Elite Team's Secret Forest Dance Party.' I'm sure people will pay a lot of money to see it, and everyone in the city will get a good laugh."
The rest of the group just stared at him. They thought he was being very ruthless! This was like pushing Spirit Hall's face right into the dirt. They could only imagine how mad Spirit Hall would be when the video got out. The leaders would probably be so angry they would spit blood. For these three Spirit Emperors, having everyone laugh at them would be much worse than dying.

Just as Ye Yin was thinking about picking a weaker beast or using his lucky dice, something changed.
