Durus was a kind man he loved everyone he himself didn't know why, he only saw the good in people he never fought he'd rather talk
he believed that all humans where his brothers and sisters he never got mad at anyone
He always smiled it was like a angle was reborn as a human even
He once saved a girl from being run over but one of his legs got run over
[Flash back]
Durus was walking down the street, his kind smile splitting his face and combined with his energetic eyes he made everyone day
He seemed oblivion he seemed lost in thought which wasn't far from the truth
Until he saw her the light was red a ball rolled on the road along with a laughing little girl she smiled and giggled clearly missing a front tooth
Durus was about to turn away and his smile growing as he saw the little girls happiness
And just as fast he turned back quickly noticing the girls mother being unaware of the girl as a car was speeding down the road
And so the foolishly kind man acted he ran passing by people with what seemed like unnatural speed his body moving like Bull reaching the girl and pushing her forward
Falling on his stomach his being run over
Bump! bump!
As the car speeded away and everyone gasped the girl started to cry her tears finally making durus's smile lessen
"Don't cry"
I stand up my leg crushed I feel like I'm dying, but I smile because if I don't then who will?
If I don't stand up and AND SMILE THE WHO WILL
And so he did durus's kindness even if foolish at times and self-destructive at best is one of the great things that keeps this universe
running
his mind and body may be just human but his spirit his spirit was always something more, something destined for greatness
I rose my leg killing me, I didn't care I only cared for the girl in front of me
So I walked over to her ball and enveloped it with my hand
"Here, don't play on the road."
And so durus's kindness won over his instincts again, the girl continued to cry harder this time, as her mother finally reached her and hugged her
But this wasn't even the kindest thing he's done. No this was just durus this was him at his core
His death came unexpectedly, while volunteering at a homeless shelter he was stabbed by a homeless after hours
When asked durus said the man was just desperate
"I'm sure he's better now. Your not you when you're hungry after all."
He died in the hospital, his family getting the new late, many people wanted the homeless man dead but those who knew durus knew that he already forgave him
Durus was more than a happy man he was an icon. He was on the news, joe Rogan podcast was studied by scientists and doctor to see why he was so happy
He was one of the most popular people alive, because of his kindness
Many said he may be the second coming, but they where ignored because everybody knew and felt that durus wasn't Jesus not even close
He may have his kindness his benevolence but it's not him. It's just durus
And just like that the whole world wept for a man that would give his life again it it mental saving just one more being
Durus was never religion he didn't worship any god
But when he dead with a smile on his face he couldn't help but wonder
"Is there really a god? Is there heaven? Is there hell? Or is just oblivion maybe reincarnation, and if I do reincarnat I hope I can still help people."
And as he finally faded he could only smile because even if it was over at least he achieved his dream of helping people
"Open your eyes my son"
A benevolent authoritive voice spoke
"I think I have the answer to your question"
As durus opened his eyes a smile still on his face, he couldn't help but wonder how could be still hear?

"And 40X the learning ability allowing you to learn anything 40 times faster, costing 80 thousand and for the rest I suggest making your bones overall 13 times better"
"Why make my bones stronger right now? My adaptive healing factor should make then stronger as I damage them"
