I closed my eyes again and turned toward the opposite side of the bed. Man, I really needed some sleep. What I wouldn't give for the system shop to have something like an energy booster. Maybe some kind of potion that could instantly wake me up and make me feel like I had slept for twelve hours.
"So that's why he's sleepy." Nala chuckled. "Spent all your energy there?"
"How about you stop talking about it?" I mumbled.
"Oh, are you going to wear that, Jas?" Nala asked. "The beige one would look better."
"How about this one?"
"Mm... maybe?"
"No, no. I'll wear the beige one like you said. I think it looks good." Jasmine glanced at herself in the mirror. "This one makes me look fatter."
"Nothing can make you fatter," I said while still lying down. "Do you not see yourself in the mirror?"
That finally got my attention when the system UI popped up. I cracked one eye open and stared at the notification. Five points for telling the truth, huh?
