Garion's grin slowly returned, but this time there was something colder behind it. "Varkhazan, I'll be honest. I was actually pretty glad when I realized something."
Varkhazan's golden-red eyes narrowed faintly. "And what would that be?"
Garion leaned back in his chair again, looking completely relaxed despite the heavy atmosphere filling the hall. "That you were cautious enough to bring him here."
The hall went still.
Bruno's expression immediately became extremely serious.
"Him?"
Garion continued, sounding almost approving. "Even though God Gym is still a relatively new faction, you didn't underestimate us."
He casually gestured toward the Volcanion envoys. "You came with proper envoys, powerful ships, enough strength to maintain your clan's reputation... and even brought along a hidden trump card just in case."
Garion's smile widened slightly. "As expected of a top dragon clan."
He gave Varkhazan an approving look. "Proud as hell, but at least you're not stupid."
