Personas, archetypes, roles, immersions, alters… these different synonyms for the same thing being one's inner state fully personified and given into.
To succumb to these versions of yourself give clues into who you really are, and ultimately, there can only be one that is truly you that fits the world you feel you belong to; hence "immersion" being part of the list.
"Who are you really?" is the same thing as asking what "world are you from?".
To be otherworldly means the same thing as being something foreign, something alien, something far removed from ordinary, though you must have a normal core intact of your observational self that needs to be there for all personas to be possible in the first place through its sensitive, receptivity to immersion.
