Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Dark Wave Detection

The red line office turns into a busy command center. The new guards arrived, Sri, Danu, and Karna were preparing themselves for their respective missions. Anton has prepared special communication equipment that is resistant to dark energy disorders. Dr. Maya distributed cure and stimulant spray for psychological fatigue. Wulan sat in the corner, her eyes closed, concentrating to feel every wave of evil intentions that might threaten her children.

Bimo is checking the latest energy protectors designed by Anton a glove that can focus its fire burst into sharper and controlled rays.

Suddenly, the entire computer system in the office received a successive warning notification. The deafening alarm sound filled the room.

"What's that?" Sri shouted, preparing to be in a defensive dance position.

"Not a direct attack!" Anton replied, his fingers danced quickly on the keyboard. "This is ... this is from the military satellite that I am retasing! And from seismic sensors throughout Indonesia! And from our own energy scanner! Everything is active at once!"

Monitor screens are filled with crammed data. Indonesia's map emerged, and on it, hundreds - even thousands - red points burning simultaneously.

"Bimo! Look at this!" Call Anton, his voice almost panicked.

Bimo, Riani, and the guards gathered around the main console. The red points are spread throughout the islands, from big cities to remote villages. But the most populous concentration is around Jakarta and Java.

"What does this mean?" asked Danu, his face was pale.

"That is an energy signature," Bimo answered, his voice was flat and full of horror. "The same signature attached to shadow creatures. But ... on a very large scale."

"How big?" Urged Karna, staring at the screen with fiery eyes.

Anton enlarges one of the points in Jakarta. Raw data appears beside him.

"Each point represents one ... or a group ... Entities with identical dark energy signature. The amount ... thousands. Maybe tens of thousands."

The room was silent. Only the sound of a computer buzz that was heard.

"Tens of thousands?" Riani repeated, don't believe it. "That's impossible. They should have lost the leader. They should be confused."

"Except ..." murmured Dr. Maya. "Except this is not an uncoordinated attack. This is the mobilization of troops."

Like responding to his words, all the red points on the map began to move. They don't move randomly. They move in regular formations, like soldiers who are marching. They move towards strategic locations: government centers, power plants, communication towers, and their offices.

"They headed here," Anton said, giving rise to security images from outside. The streets around their building are still quiet, but the shadows began to gather at the end of the road. Many. "They know we are here."

"This is an invasion," Bimo said, finally realizing the scale. "This is no longer a secret battle. This is an open war." Planning in the shadows "... He did not rearrange. He launched his attack."

"But why now?" asked Riani.

"Because we gather," Wulan answered, opening her eyes. His face is full of deep concern. "We are their biggest threat. And with our gathering in one place, we are the perfect target. He provoked us to gather, then he will destroy us at once."

Then, the lights in the office began to blink. The sound of electric buzzing turns into a high roar. The image on the monitor began to be distorted.

"Massive energy disorders!" Anton report. "They are blocking our signals! Paralyzing communication!"

"They want to isolate us," Danu said. "Cut us from help."

Because set foot on the floor. "Land ... vibrates. The vibrations are full of inhuman steps. They come from below. From the tunnel and drainage."

Sri had begun to move, his hands twisted, manipulating energy in the room. "I can feel them approaching. Thousands. Their minds are full of hunger and commands to destroy."

Bimo made a decision quickly. The initial plan is no longer valid.

"All missions are canceled!" He ordered, his voice echoed with the authority of Dewa who rose. "We don't attack. We survive! Anton, close all emergency steel doors! Activate all the defense systems we have!"

Anton pressed a large button on his console. The sound of metal roar was heard when all the door and window of the building were locked with a steel plate thick thirty centimeters. Emergency generator lives, illuminates the room with an emergency red light.

"Defense will not last long against that much amount!" Dr. Maya.

"We don't need to hold them forever," Bimo answered, his eyes began to shine with white fire. "We only need to reduce their number until we find a way to hit back."

He turned to the guards.

"Karna. Earth is your strength. Can you tear down the tunnel below us? Dlated their path from below?"

Because nodded, his face was serious. "I can. But that will require a lot of concentration. I need time."

"Do it. Danu. Water. The pipe system in this building. Can you use it? For bursts of water that can clean their energy?"

Danu nodded, already heading towards the plumbing control panel. "I can purify water in the tank. Give him the healing power that will feel like acids for them."

"Sri. Mother. I need you to work together. Mother, use your words to strengthen psychic protection around the building. Sri, use your dance to strengthen the words of the mother and heal anyone who is injured."

"Ready," Sri and Wulan answered in unison.

"Riani, with me. You will be my eyes. You feel their weak points, their strongest concentration, and tell me."

Riani nodded, her eyes had shined with her psychic power.

"Anton, Dr. Maya. You monitor everything. Report every change. And prepare ... prepare the last option if we can't survive."

"The last option?" asked Dr. Maya.

"Burying us all in this building," Bimo answered in a flat voice.

Before anyone can answer, the first attack begins.

The sound of a loud impact shook the main entrance. So hard that the steel plates were dented.

"They are here!" shouted Anton.

Bimo and Riani ran to the lobby. Through a security camera that is still functioning, they can see it. Ocean Shadow. Creatures with various shapes and sizes-some like humans with distorted faces, some like wild animals, some are not shaped at all-while invading their buildings. They hit, scratched, and made dark energy towards the door.

"Bimo, now!" Call because of the middle of the room. He already knelt down, his hand sticks to the floor. "I'll start!"

Bimo nodded. He opened a small surveillance slot on the steel door. "Riani, now!"

Riani closed her eyes, then opened it. "The highest concentration point is in the middle! There is something big behind them! A Commander Entity!"

Bimo doesn't waste time. He pointed his hand which was on his hand into the small hole. Pure white fire gushed out, forming a laser destruction that cuts the crowd of creatures outside. The screams of deafening were heard when dozens of creatures immediately burned to ashes.

But for every one who dies, more replaces it.

Behind him, because it made a snort. The floor trembled. A big roar sounded from under the building. "One tunnel has collapsed!" report. "But there are two more!"

Upstairs, Danu opened the main water tap. The water that comes out of the sprinkler and the fire hose is no longer clear, but emits a silvery blue light. When this water touches creatures that succeed in infiltrating through ventilation gaps, the creature screamed and yawned.

Wulan sat cross-legged, her eyes were closed, saying a constant protection spell. Sri danced around him, his elegant movements project layer after layer of the energy shield that strengthened Wulan's words. Every time a dark energy tries to penetrate the wall, the shield is bright and rejects it.

The battle lasted for hours. The guards began to be exhausted. The main steel door has dented and starts to crack.

"We can't last any longer!" shouted Anton. "Their energy is too strong! Our system will fail!"

Bimo continued to release the burst of fire, but even his power as a god of fire began to erode. The number of enemies is too much.

Then, Riani screamed. "Bimo! That big one! Commander's entity! He moves! He is heading towards us!"

Through a reconnaissance hole, Bimo saw it. A giant creature, as high as three meters, with a body made of weapons and fleets that integrate, walked forward through the crowd. In his hand, he carried a large spear made of solid darkness.

"He will destroy the door!" Riani's warning.

Bimo knew he had to stop him. But if he opens the door, the others will enter.

"Because!" Bimo shouted. "Can you open a path for me? Only for one attack?"

Because, which is almost collapsed, nodded. "Just once! Get ready!"

Because it slammed his hand to the floor. Outside, right in front of the door, the ground suddenly broke, swallowing dozens of shadow creatures and created a small cliff that prevents the giant for a moment.

"NOW!" Karna shouted.

Bimo unlocked the main steel door for only one second. Enough for him to jump out into the sea of darkness.

"Bimo!" shouted Riani and Wulan in unison.

But Bimo is outside. He was immediately surrounded.

"Close the door!" Bimo's orders through COMMS.

The door was locked back behind him. Now, he is alone against all troops.

The giant saw it and roared, lifting his spear.

Bimo is not afraid. The fire brought on all over his body, into a white tornado that burned all the small creatures that approached. He walked forward, towards the giant.

"I am a fire god!" Bimo's echo, full of ancient forces. "And this is my domain!"

He jumped, pointing all his strength to one point - the giant darkness.

Two powers collided. The explosion of energy that blinded sweeping the entire area, scorched hundreds of shadow creatures at once.

When the light subsided, Bimo stood up, panting. The giant spear was broken. But the giant himself still stood up, just scratched.

The giant raised his big hand to destroy Bimo.

But then, something else happened.

The sound of the sirene closer. Not a police siren or firefighter. But something else.

From the end of the road, a strange vehicle convoy appeared. Old trucks modified with strange symbols, jeep cars with large antennas, and motorbikes.

And from the vehicles, dozens of people jump out. They wear different clothes-there are farmers, some are like artists, some are like teachers. But their eyes all shine with the same strength.

They are other guards.

They have heard the call of Bimo and Wulan. And they came.

Without further ado, they immediately attacked the shadow forces. A young woman threw grains that immediately grew into vines that wrapped around the creatures. An old man whistling, calling a swarm who swooped in the eyes of the creatures. A young man sang a song that made the creatures confused.

Bimo smiled, relieved. Help has arrived.

He returned to focus on the giant. Now, with the help that comes, he can concentrate.

He gathered the rest of his strength, pulling the energy from the lines of destiny around him which was already chaotic by the battle.

"For Jakarta!" he shouted, and threw the biggest fireball he had ever made.

The fireball hit the giant right in the chest, pushing him into the abyss made of Karna. The giant screamed as he fell, and the cliff closed, buried him alive.

With their leaders lost, and with the arrival of new guards, the shadow troops began to be chaotic and backward.

Battle has not been won. But the defense has survived.

Bimo, with a body full of wounds and fatigue, was called back into the building. The new guards began to clean up the remnants of enemies.

They have passed the first wave. But everyone knows, this is just the beginning.

"Those who planned in the shadows" had just shown his first card. And the actual war has not begun.
