"Miss Boson?"
"Yes?"
"It's Linda with Hot Spot Destinations. I'm calling you with the final details of your vacation to New Vegas."
Miranda grinned. Her twenty-first birthday would be spent in decadent exploration in a city of adventure.
"Your flight leaves on Friday afternoon. You'll arrive in the city at seven-oh-three. Your return flight is Monday evening at five-fifty-four. Your hotel is the Dusty Star." Linda hesitated. "Are you sure that's the hotel you want?"
Linda had explained in their initial interview that the Dusty Star was in one of the oldest sections of New Vegas. Miranda wanted to drench herself in the atmosphere, the danger, the intrigue. The Dusty Star, at least from its photos and descriptions, had the ambience she desired. For once in her life, she was going to be naughty. She was going to take risks.
