Good! That's exactly the comment I want!
If he chose this, Yoshio would become a true Outer God.
If things developed further, there'd be even more outrageous High-Dimensional Comments, but Yoshio didn't want to wait forever. He already had a plan for his own path, and this power would simply add to it.
In terms of world limits, getting the identity of an Outer God was already "top-tier treatment." High-Dimensional Comments could make anything real, but there were still constraints. You couldn't create a Super Saiyan in One Piece, or a Zeno in Shinigami.
Outer God… that was already touching the "upper limit." In Yoshio's setting, an Outer God was stronger than the Soul King.
So, Yoshio chose the comment.
Instantly, he felt a strange energy—like he was outside the Three Realms, in the universe. Galaxies swirled around him, countless stars surging by.
He closed his eyes and felt the power. It was deeply embedded in his soul.
When he opened his eyes, the galaxies vanished, and the High-Dimensional Comments faded away.
He'd returned to reality, but the energy remained within him. A joyful expression spread across his face.
He had rediscovered himself.
By choosing that comment, Yoshio became a true Outer God. Unlike his avatars, he was now truly alien.
No—since he himself was alien, all his avatars would be too. This time, he was a genuine Outer God.
The energy didn't pour into him; it "transformed" him. As an existence from outside the Three Realms, he now had a power system that didn't belong to it—a power completely different from spiritual pressure.
This energy was still faint, deep in his soul.
What should it be called? It was a brand new energy system for an Outer God. Yoshio hadn't named it yet.
It had originated from his spiritual power, but now it was distinctly separate.
That was fine—he still needed Shinigami spiritual power for now.
Along with the energy came new memories. It was as if a "game setting" had been added to his mind.
He came from the starry sky, arriving in the Three Realms millions of years ago. He wasn't a stowaway—he was "reincarnated" into the Three Realms as the "World's Chosen One's" cousin.
Thus, though an Outer God, he could freely appear in the Three Realms and gradually recover his strength.
As for his title, he'd already decided: since he got the identity from a High-Dimensional Comment, he'd be the High-Dimensional Overseer.
It fit perfectly—he was, after all, a transmigrator from a High-Dimensional world.
This setting, from the comments and his new identity, felt very real to Yoshio.
He was now ready to research what uses this "Outer God" power might have.
..
After that, all parties quieted down.
In the Human World, Kurosaki Ichigo and Rukia Kuchiki began training with the Visoreds. In the Soul Society, the Shinigami made preparations against Aizen.
Though "doomsday" rumors spread and caused global panic, scientists quickly "debunked" them, and people gradually accepted the new reality.
But beneath the surface, fear and unease lingered.
Two weeks passed in a flash.
During those two weeks, everyone worried about the uncertain future.
Then, above Karakura Town, darkness appeared once more—not the same as during the Blood Moon. This time, it was a passage connecting to Hueco Mundo.
Several figures emerged from the Garganta.
"Our target is Inoue Orihime," said Tōsen Kaname, leading the group. "Yamiko, you lead the Espada and stop Kurosaki Ichigo and his group."
Kamado Yamiko stood beside Tōsen Kaname, with Ulquiorra and Grimmjow nearby.
Yamiko nodded. "Mmm."
Tōsen turned to Ichimaru Gin, Kira Izuru, and Hinamori Momo. "You three just need to temporarily hold back the Shinigami."
This operation had been planned two weeks ago, but the Blood Moon incident had caught the Shinigami off guard and halted Las Noches's actions.
Before, intelligence suggested only Rukia Kuchiki and Kurosaki Ichigo were in the Human World—perhaps one more Captain. But the last incident revealed their full strength: besides Ichigo, Rukia, and a Captain, there were two more Gotei 13 Captains, plus Kisuke Urahara and the Visoreds.
If they followed the old plan, they'd walk into a trap.
So now they'd dispatched more people: the Espada Vice Leader Kamado Yamiko, as well as Ichimaru Gin and Kira Izuru.
This would be enough.
As Tōsen finished speaking, everyone began to move.
In fact, passing through the Garganta had already alerted the Shinigami. Those stationed in Karakura Town immediately detected their location and rushed over!
It was late night in Karakura Town.
Kurosaki Ichigo, deep in sleep, was suddenly woken by Rukia Kuchiki. He looked groggily out the window, then snapped awake.
"What's wrong?!"
He opened the window and saw Rukia, her expression tense.
"The Arrancar are here. I think their target is you or Inoue," Rukia said grimly. "Where's Inoue?"
"…Don't worry. Yoruichi-san sent Inoue to the Soul Society. In that environment, her abilities can grow better."
"…That's good." Rukia breathed a sigh of relief. "But the enemy might not know that. They could also be after you. You should transform."
Ichigo nodded, using his shinigami badge to transform and leap out the window.
The moment he did, his eyes widened—a figure had appeared behind Rukia!
"!"
Rukia spun around, only to see a familiar face.
"Arrancar…"
She gritted her teeth, glaring at Grimmjow. "So it's you."
"That's right. Name's Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. You may not know me, but I know you—Rukia Kuchiki and…" He turned to Ichigo, bloodthirsty. "Kurosaki Ichigo!"
"Hey! Ulquiorra! Can I kill them?!"
The two followed his gaze to see another Arrancar standing in the air, hands in his pockets.
Ulquiorra's expression was flat. "As you wish."
"That's what I wanted to hear!" Grimmjow grinned, charging at them.
Rukia and Ichigo braced themselves. Grimmjow had easily defeated them before; even though they'd grown stronger, they knew he hadn't used his full power last time.
While they fought, battles erupted elsewhere in Karakura Town.
Three Shinigami Captains were stationed in the Human World: Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Jūshirō Ukitake, and Soi Fon. Ukitake and Soi Fon had originally come to negotiate with Kisuke Urahara, but after the Blood Moon incident, they remained to guard Karakura Town.
Sensing powerful spiritual pressure from the Garganta, they rushed over.
"…Hinamori!"
Seeing Hinamori blocking his path, Hitsugaya was shocked. For him, her betrayal was even harder to accept than Yoshio's.
Yoshio was a genius with ambition, so betrayal was possible. But Hinamori—gentle, kind—why would she betray the Soul Society?
"I'm sorry, Toshiro." Hinamori's eyes were downcast. "But because Yoshio and I understand you too well, we knew you couldn't come with us. So I didn't tell you."
"Enough!" Hitsugaya snapped. "I don't want to hear it. I just want to know why you left! Do you really admire Aizen so much? Enough to destroy the world?!"
"World?" Hinamori laughed bitterly. "As I said, you don't know anything. This world should have been destroyed anyway."
"What did you say?!" Hitsugaya couldn't believe it. This wasn't the Hinamori he remembered.
"Do you really think the Gotei 13 is righteous? Let me tell you—"
"Captain Hitsugaya!" Ukitake arrived, interrupting.
Ukitake spoke seriously. "They're using Hinamori to distract you. If you can't fight her, I'll step in."
"Captain Ukitake…"
Hitsugaya gripped his blade, then gritted his teeth. "Alright. Don't hurt her."
"I won't," Ukitake assured him.
"No… don't worry about me," Hitsugaya turned away, not wanting to see Hinamori's face, and vanished.
He wasn't one to avoid things, but he knew he couldn't fight Hinamori now. If he hesitated, she'd hold him back—and that would hurt their side.
That was something Yoshio had taught him.
"…"
After Hitsugaya left, Hinamori frowned. "Captain Ukitake, it's rude to interrupt."
"Sorry," Ukitake actually apologized. "But some things aren't suitable for Hitsugaya to know." He drew his Sōgyo no Kotowari. "Besides, I have a question for you, Lieutenant Hinamori."
"What's your purpose this time?"
"Do you think I'd tell you?" Hinamori drew her Tobiume. "Also, stop calling me Lieutenant. I abandoned that title long ago. Let me show you my current strength."
She spoke softly. "Bloom, Tobiume!"
Powerful spiritual pressure erupted from her.
Ukitake prepared to release his Zanpakuto, but saw Kira descend beside Hinamori.
"Captain Ukitake's a veteran of Seireitei. I'm worried you can't handle him alone. Mind if I help?"
"…Of course," Hinamori said.
Ukitake looked at them, then glanced in another direction—where Kamado Yamiko stood on a rooftop, hands in pockets, watching them.
Compared to these two, Yamiko was the real threat.
In Seireitei, Hinamori and Kira were Lieutenants; Yamiko was only a 3rd Seat. But as Yoshio's cousin, always at his side, she'd even beaten Hitsugaya before!
In Seireitei's threat levels, Kamado Yamiko ranked with Ichimaru Gin and Tōsen Kaname, or even higher.
At this moment, she was very close, making Ukitake uneasy.
But Yamiko's target wasn't Ukitake.
"It seems… we've been discovered."
In the direction Yamiko was watching, Kisuke Urahara and Shihōin Yoruichi appeared.
"Mr. Yoshio's cousin is no ordinary person," Kisuke said, face serious.
