Aaagh!!!
The binding was strong and the bottle popped open!
Satisfied sigh...
"Don't ever act like you're numinous to all this and take proper responsibility," said the girl lying beside Nickan on the spacious bed with a racing heart.
"Alright!" grunted Nickan finding no other plausible answer due to his jumbled mind.
The rest was short-lived as there was a sudden knock on the door of the room and the girl jolted upwards on bed to adjust her bridal gown while telling Nickan to get dressed and hide somewhere.
However, Nickan was already out of his mind as unknown memories of a familiar person began to flood his mind that sent sharp pains all over his mind and body as a whole.
As time passed, it didn't take him long to figure out that the memories he was seeing all belonged to his grandfather.
His name, his life on this world – everything came to Nickan unwantedly.
The knocking increased drastically, which led to the girl slightly panicking out of fear of being caught cheating just before marriage.
As the flood of memories subsided, Nickan knew exactly what to do; he stood up and hid below the bed.
While Nickan was lying doggo, he noticed the girl in the bridal dress open the door that let a gentle breeze inside, making the girl's pink hair wave smoothly along the wind.
A man entered inside.
"What were you doing inside the room for this long, darling?" asked the man with a concerned expression.
"Nothing much, just a bit nervous," replied the girl with a lost expression.
As Nickan looked, the man appeared to be in his forties with a well enough build to outshine his own, yet his so-called fiancée ended up cheating on him with Nickan, which made him smirk for a bit.
But then the betrayal sank deep into his mind, leading him to question his self-morality for doing such an act.
Then a realization dawned on him.
The person cheating with the bride was not him; it was, in fact, his grandfather, and for some reason, he was experiencing it firsthand.
But it seemed impossible!
For his grandfather has died.
Then what's going on with him currently?
Was he dead or was he dreaming?
However, it was not the time for questions, as he must save his skin from this sneaky mess no matter what.
"Don't be nervous, my love; it'll all go perfectly, so come when you're ready!" said the man as he took his leave.
"Alright, Arogon," replied the girl with a drawn breath.
As the door got closed, the girl gazed under the bed.
"You can come out now," said the girl, placing a hand on her chest out of relief.
Sure enough, Nickan got out and was waiting on what to do next.
Witnessing Nickan fixated on the same spot, the girl stared at him and said, "Go on, now! Leave through the window!"
Nickan was dumbfounded. Leave through the window? Was this girl crazy?
The girl urged him to move again, so Nickan went to the window and opened it to glimpse how high up they were.
As Nickan examined the outside, it seemed like they were four stories high; otherwise, he would have jumped to escape.
"Move on now, shoo shoo!" said the girl hurriedly.
"Move how? Are you crazy? I'll die!" replied Nickan in a fit of rage.
"Use the stone ledges outside the window. You said you'd rather die if I wasn't your first, didn't you? So, why the sudden change of mood?" The girl replied with a hmph.
However, Nickan wasn't ready to do something so reckless, so he insisted on finding another way to escape. But the girl wasn't having it—she was determined for him to leave immediately, using the ledges as stepping stones.
Upon being pressured, Nickan cursed his fate and went outside the window, stepping on the ledges and began to move slowly, putting his back on the solid wall.
As Nickan moved, his mind was filled with another memory, which was, in fact, his own.
It was about his childhood love, a girl he loved who never responded to his feelings, and one day he went out with a bicycle to express how he felt; he was met with further despair as the girl he loved was with another boy kissing just below her house openly.
With teary eyes and bittersweet feelings he left the scene.
Nickan didn't know why it suddenly crossed his mind, but even after all this time, he still felt sad.
Nonetheless, what he had done a while ago felt far worse than what had happened to him previously, so he moved as quickly as possible to make a run for it out of sheer guilt.
"That's right! The great Sengoku the dragon shouldn't be scared of such a measly height," asserted the girl.
As soon as Nickan heard the name, he froze. It was the title of the book his grandfather had written and left behind—a book Nickan had brought with him, intrigued by its contents.
"What's wrong? Move your ass!" yelled the girl.
Then the girl's name came to Nickan's mind naturally.
"Shut up, Lisa!" exclaimed Nickan.
With that shout a man below espied Nickan and hollered for others to cognize, yelling, "Look, the bride's cheating on her wedding day!"
"Holy shit!" Nickan thought inwardly.
"Oh my god, you ruined it all!" cried out Lisa upon getting caught.
Lisa's fiancé came outside, and it didn't take him long to catch on to what Lisa was doing behind his back, so he shouted angrily at Nickan, the bastard whom she cheated with, to stay where he was.
Within moments, there was a series of frantic knocks on the door. Desperate, Lisa fumbled around, unsure of what to do.
"Open the door, Lisa!" shrilled Lisa's fiancé from outside.
"No, I can't, Ron," Lisa sobbed. "I never wanted this to happen on my wedding day, but it's not his fault. Sengoku wasn't the one who made the first move—it was me."
"I don't care who made the first move—I just want to destroy that bastard for ruining our special day!" Ron shouted once again, his voice filled with determination.
"I'm not opening the door then, Ron," said Lisa with a slightly frightened voice.
"Then I'm breaking the goddamn door!" exclaimed Ron.
With that, Ron began kicking the door as hard as he could, determined to force it open.
Kick! Kick!
After several tries, he finally smashed it open.
