Tristan sat in the darkness thinking things through. His mind was especially focused on the contents of the statement he had read regarding Vanessa Grant. On the one hand, it seemed impossible. But on the other, he did not know what to think.
His first impression of her had been that she was aggressive and used to getting what she wanted. SHe was the chairman of a large company and this was to be expected. But, that was like this in her personal life as well, he had decided when she had coerced him and used every possible means to force him to abide by her wishes. She also knew how to seduce. Of that he was well aware.
So if he looked at her as someone completely without morals, then perhaps the accusations were believable. The statement had contained disturbing details of restraints, blindfolds and using strap ons. Even just reading it, Tristan had felt uncomfortable and nauseous.
And yet...He could not reconcile the woman in that statement to the woman he knew.
