[Arthur Pendragon]
[Holy Sword: Excalibur (13 Seals)]
[Holy Spear: Locked]
[Bloodline of the Red Dragon: 30% Awakened (Red Dragon's Scales, Red Dragon's Claws)]
[Knights of the Round Table: Locked]
[Island of Britannia: Locked]
[Castle of White Chalk: Locked]
[Haki: Conqueror's Haki (Intermediate), Armament Haki (Basic), Observation Haki (Basic)]
"Whew~"
Letting out a deep breath, Arthur checked his system interface again after enduring the searing pain of another bloodline awakening—and paused in surprise.
"Huh?"
"My Conqueror's Haki leveled up?"
"What's going on?"
Arthur was momentarily stunned, not quite understanding the situation.
Red Dragon's Scales.
Red Dragon's Claws.
Clearly—
The 30% bloodline awakening had just unlocked the Red Dragon's Claws. With a bit of focus, Arthur could already sense it: his arms had gained overwhelming destructive power—sharpness approaching that of a Grade-1 Sword.
Slash!
Slash!
Arthur effortlessly sliced through objects like butter and marveled aloud,
"The attack power in my hands has become terrifying. In terms of sharpness, it's likely no weaker than a Grade-1 Sword—possibly even…"
Buzz—
Coated in pitch-black Armament Haki, his hands shimmered with a flash of dark light—a deadly sharpness that could be felt just by looking.
Don't think that Grade-1, Great-Grade, or Supreme-Grade swords are pointless once you've mastered high-level Armament Haki. If that were the case, there'd be no need to classify blades at all. Legendary swords carry terrifying power for a reason.
"Besides that…"
"My physical body!"
Arthur stretched a bit, feeling his physique had become significantly stronger—monstrously so.
However…
After some thought, Arthur murmured,
"Maybe it's because my Red Dragon bloodline improved that my Conqueror's Haki advanced a tier as well."
"That makes sense."
The growth of Conqueror's Haki isn't just about training—it depends on one's willpower and growth as a person. As long as someone possesses overwhelming ambition and spirit, their Conqueror's Haki will naturally grow stronger.
Arthur understood that perfectly.
"But still…"
He muttered helplessly,
"Awakening 30% of the Red Dragon bloodline already consumed 20 Devil Fruits. If…"
Just thinking about what it might cost to reach 50%, 70%, or even 100%...
Good grief!
Who knew how much more energy that would take? How many Devil Fruits he'd have to consume? This time, just barely, 20 fruits had been enough. And that's not even considering the unlocking of the 13 Seals on the Holy Sword, the Holy Spear, the Island of Britannia, the White Chalk Castle, the Knights of the Round Table…
"Sleep."
"I need sleep."
Arthur quietly decided to rest. No rush—better to take it slow for now.

The Next Day
Everything from yesterday was already behind them.
That's just how it was on the Rocks Pirates. Events like that had happened countless times. Everyone was used to it.
Arthur resumed his daily training. After breakfast, he made his way to the main ship.
"Gurararara~"
Edward laughed heartily,
"Arthur, kid! You really managed to endure half a month. Not bad at all!"
Edward, Shiki, Linlin, Ochoku, John, and Silver Axe—
The six main officers were all present.
Arthur greeted them with a grin,
"Yeah, it was a pain. If I'd slipped up even once, those guys' tricks could've killed me."
And he wasn't joking.
Their methods were endlessly unpredictable—get careless, and you might not even know how you died.
Honestly—
Arthur thought that if he hadn't had the Red Dragon bloodline and his cheat-like Instinct ability, then even with stronger base stats and backup from the ship, he might not have lasted through the past two weeks of constant attacks.
"Gyahahahaha!"
Shiki laughed boisterously,
"Captain Rocks is waiting for you."
"No problem."
Arthur nodded with a smile and stepped into the ship's interior.
Soon—
Creaaak.
He opened the door to the captain's cabin and saw Rocks seated inside.
Arthur greeted him cheerfully,
"Captain Rocks! That was one hell of a two weeks. If I hadn't been careful, I might've died."
"Ohohohoho."
Rocks burst into bold laughter,
"That's the Rocks Pirates for you! Death is common. If you're rewarded handsomely but lack the strength to protect it, you're screwed."
"Enough chit-chat!"
He cut to the point.
"Arthur, kid, next up I'm going to teach you high-level mastery of the three types of Haki. But whether or not you can learn it—that's on you. When we're done, you'll go on a mission with Edward."
Arthur asked,
"What's the reward?"
"As long as you make it back alive, I promise the reward will be worth it."
"Deal."
Rocks began explaining seriously,
"There are three kinds of Haki—Armament, Observation, and Conqueror's. That's basic stuff, so I won't waste time on it. What you should know is that the pinnacle of Armament Haki is Internal Destruction!"
"That's right."
Arthur nodded. Honestly, he knew about the advanced stages of Haki—but knowing is one thing, being able to use it is something else entirely.
"Yeah!"
"The peak of Armament Haki is Internal Destruction. It's simple in concept—used to counter Devil Fruits with special properties. Take the Barrier-Barrier Fruit, for example. Without high-level Armament Haki, you wouldn't even be able to kill a normal human protected by that ability."
"I know."
Arthur responded seriously. The Barrier-Barrier Fruit was a straight-up cheat—and there were plenty of fruits like that on the Grand Line.
