Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Pirates! The Fastest Path to Riches!

Ironhammer.

Silverhammer.

Goldhammer.

Three minor officers of the Rocks Pirates.

Were they blood brothers?

Not quite—just comrades in arms, nothing more.

And as for their bond?

Well, in a place like the Rocks Pirates, it was really just huddling together for survival.

---

"Silverhammer Smash!"

"Goldhammer Break!"

Without a word, the two raised their enormous hammers and charged directly at Arthur.

Their attack was fast, vicious, and precise—

Each of the trio possessed terrifying power in their own right.

"Hammer of the Wind King!"

Arthur struck back in an instant. A storm howled to life, whirling with violent force.

Silverhammer and Goldhammer stood their ground and shattered the wind hammer head-on through raw strength.

"You little brat!"

"You're nothing!"

The two sneered in unison.

Arthur chuckled.

"Classic."

The next moment—

Arthur vanished.

A blur of light streaked behind Silverhammer.

BOOM!

He slammed down a direct strike.

"Tch!"

"Soru!"

"Soru!"

Both brothers reacted swiftly.

They weren't fazed—after all, even the Navy's Six Powers were widely understood among the strong in this sea.

Aside from Kami-e (Paper Art), which relied heavily on unique physique and training, techniques like Soru, Geppo, Tekkai, and Shigan could be learned by anyone with exceptional body control.

As for Tekkai?

Anyone who understood battle knew the saying:

"Tekkai is the illusion of defense."

---

"Silverhammer!"

"Goldhammer!"

"Dual Destruction Smash!"

The brothers roared, releasing a shockwave that cracked the air like thunder.

BOOOOM!

Their combined hammer strike descended like a meteor—

Aimed straight at Arthur's skull.

"Their teamwork… Is a bit stronger than Kaido's solo force."

Arthur didn't underestimate them.

No matter how powerful his system was or what he might become, his current self was still limited. That was the most important thing.

"Wind King's Iron Shield!"

Arthur turned swiftly—

Whoooosh!

A wall of pale green wind surged forward, condensing into a wind-forged shield.

CLANG!!!

It blocked their dual strike—completely.

"What?!"

"That's impossible!"

"Hammer of the Wind King!"

Arthur didn't waste time with explanations.

He raised his hand again, conjuring another vortex of wind and hurled it at them.

The brothers were forced to retreat, giving the impression the clash had ended for now.

But—

Only for a moment.

The three re-engaged immediately.

---

"Hmm?"

Watching from afar, Silver Axe raised an eyebrow.

"That brat Arthur… what kind of ability is that? Is he a Logia-type Wind Fruit user?"

---

Captain John, drunk but sharp-eyed, shook his head.

"Doesn't look like it. Seems more like a special ability… or maybe a weapon's power. Remember, in the Grand Line, there are weapons with powers crazier than Devil Fruits."

Silver Axe nodded.

That's right.

In the Grand Line, there was no such thing as 'impossible.'

That's what made it the realm of miracles and dreams.

---

Edward Newgate chuckled.

"What kind of weapon is he using, I wonder?"

---

"Gyahahahaha~~~!"

Shiki laughed, excitement sparking in his eyes.

"I like this! It's really interesting. Even with Observation Haki, I can't sense the weapon clearly. If you misjudge an enemy like this…"

"…you're dead."

Drip.

Drip.

Just as Shiki spoke—

A long gash split open across Silverhammer's left arm.

Blood splattered onto the deck.

Losing that arm meant losing nearly 80% of his combat power—

His massive warhammer required both arms to wield properly.

"This brat! What the hell kind of weapon are you using?!"

Arthur smirked.

"What might it be?"

"Might be a gun.

Might be a sword.

Could be a spear… or an axe…"

"Or perhaps…"

"All of the above."

He narrowed his eyes coldly.

"But for you two…"

"It ends here."

"Hammer of the Wind King!"

Without hesitation, Arthur struck again.

His speed and execution were ruthless and surgical.

After all—

They weren't Kaido.

They didn't have absurd durability or regeneration. Losing an arm meant they were as good as finished.

A single opening was all Arthur needed.

And from that point on—

Victory was inevitable.

Meanwhile—

On the other side, things were just as one-sided.

Kaido, the indomitable, was hammering Ironhammer without mercy.

---

"Hammer of the Wind King!"

Arthur's final strike crashed down—

Even with Armament Haki, the two brothers were ripped apart.

His attack, forged from pure storm force, carried the wind's innate shearing property.

Splash!

The brothers fell into the sea.

Moments later, the waters ran red.

They were gone.

"Thunder Bagua!"

At the same time, Kaido's kanabō smashed Ironhammer's chest.

Crack!!

His ribs shattered inward.

Ironhammer didn't even hit the deck—

He died mid-air.

"Hmph."

Kaido slung his kanabō over his shoulder with pride, radiating total contempt.

---

"We're done here."

Shakky tied all four treasure chests together, tossed them onto Arthur's ship, then called over to Duru, who was resting.

Duru stood up, and with Kaido and Shakky, boarded the same ship.

This… was what it meant to be a pirate.

The victor claims everything.

Now that the Iron–Silver–Gold trio had been eliminated by Arthur and Kaido—

This ship, too, belonged to them.
