Lyra summoned flames in her hands, launching hundreds of blazing blades toward the creature. Kairan released his dark force, shadowy chains wrapping around the giant.
Arin raised his sword, inner power bursting forth. He felt part of the Sorceress's magic lingering inside him.
The colossal being roared, breaking through the chains, but the flaming blades and Arin's strike shook the ground as they pierced its body.
Arin shouted,
"This is for her… and for the future that must not be lost!"
For the first time, the creature fell to its knees. But its eyes burned with fury, and its power was far from exhausted.
