The other person was Alpha Dark. They met under some flickering lights that barely lit the gloomy space. There was a thick tension in the air, full of ambition and betrayal. She felt completely wrapped up in the scene as their conversation kicked off.
Maksim Karza stepped closer: "You give me the routes that HazardKing uses, and I'll bury him so deep he won't see the light of day again. He'll be lost in the darkness forever."
Alpha Dark replied with a confident grin: "Deal. But I'm after more than just cash; I want something bigger, a throne to rule from and build my own empire."
Karza grinned back, excitement in his eyes: "You'll get it, buddy. Once HazardKing is out of the way, you'll be the king of the Western lines, totally unchallenged."
Alpha Dark's voice turned serious: "And what about Selina? She's mine to handle. She deserves to be in my circle, where she'll be treated like royalty."
