MK kicked back in the chair, casually drawing circles on the woman's thigh with his fingers. His voice slipped into a chill, business-like tone as he started laying out their plans. The relaxed vibe in the room clashed with the serious undertones of their conversation, making the air feel a bit electric.
"So," he said, narrowing his eyes at AD, "your next job is pretty straightforward. Or… it should be."
He flashed a smirk. "You need to get me those devices your men lost, along with the girl. Both of them. And don't forget to bring the girl back with you."
AD gulped nervously. "I...I will...."
MK cut him off, his tone sharp.
"No." His voice turned icy. "Listen up."
Leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, he looked at AD like a predator sizing up its prey. "If you don't bring her to me… or if even one of those devices goes missing…" He paused, letting the silence stretch out, making it feel like a tight rope around AD's throat. "I'll take you out myself."
