ITS A WRONG CHAPTER! SKIP IT!!!
"I am home, Mother," Itsuki announced as he entered the house, closing the door behind him. His short black hair was damp, clinging to his skin, while water dripped from his soaked clothes onto the floor below. Outside, the rhythmic sound of rain echoed through the night.
He took off his shoes at the genkan and stepped inside, tapping the switch on the wall to light up the house.
With one hand, he loosened his tie and placed his office bag on the table beside the wall before walking down the hallway, leaving behind a trail of water, his footsteps the only sound echoing through the completely silent house.
He slid open the door to the drawing room and stepped inside, following the same instinctive routine he had practiced every day for many years whenever he returned home.
