At the middle of a vast dead land with grey surface and dry, broken soil for how far the eyes could see sat a humanoid creature of purple body with a fist sized hole at its chest. Its face had a wide canine mouth and a single eye at the centre which was enclosed, its eyelid sealed shut.
The surface around it bore countless pores through which dark, ominous purple energy was absorbing into its back. With each absorption, the land was turning more and more decayed, as if the creature was absorbing the very vitality of the planet. The grey soil cracked further, the air growing thinner, the last remnants of life being drained.
The energy coming from the earth slowly stopped as it absorbed every last remaining drop. Its eyelid rose, revealing a large purple eye of vertical black slit.
