"Luffy, listen to me, you must become the strongest Marine soldier!" Garp said seriously, sitting on the unconscious bear's stomach.
"No, I promised Shanks, I want to become a Pirate!" Luffy retorted, looking up.
Hearing this, Garp was furious and raised his iron fist, but Luffy was undaunted. Haki was still swirling around his small fist.
Garp was dumbfounded. "You dare to fight Grandpa?"
Luffy grinned. "When you can't move, I'll make your head bloom!"
Upon hearing these words, Garp finally gave up. He lowered his fist, and Luffy wore a triumphant grin.
An old saying echoed in Zack's heart, who was now fully Luffy: "I am the man who will become the Pirate King—Monkey D. Luffy."
In an instant, the System panel appeared before Luffy's eyes.

Luffy, now 17 years old, was already sailing. To be honest, he never really wanted to become a Pirate. However, he realized the Devil Fruit he ate could awaken the Nika form.
How could this world possibly tolerate that?
The God Fruit, pursued for eight hundred years… If I join the Marines, isn't that just walking into a trap? Luffy shook his head. After he ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi, his destiny to become a Pirate was set.
He wondered, why didn't he refuse the fruit back then? He knew it was a god fruit, and what kind of mental fortitude would it take to refuse it? He didn't have that kind of mental strength.
He didn't have to fight alone. He could join the Marines as a young master, or become Shanks's vice-captain, or even look for Ace. He had many choices.
Becoming his own leader was more comfortable, he thought, and he popped a piece of meat into his mouth. After filling his stomach, he rowed with great vigor.
Suddenly, across the way, a large pirate ship was seen plundering a merchant vessel. Luffy instantly recognized the figure. It was Alvida and her Pirate Group. With a bounty of five million, she was a prominent figure in the weakest of the Blue seas, the East Blue.
The fat, ugly captain waved her spiked club and laughed loudly. "Tell me, who is the most beautiful woman in the East Blue!"
A pink-haired boy named Koby trembled in fear. "It, it's Lady Alvida!"
Alvida smiled with satisfaction, but her smile froze when she saw someone climbing onto the ship discreetly. "How dare you ignore this old woman and climb straight up?"
"I'm hungry," Luffy replied. "I came to find something to eat."
"Fool! What's your name?"
"My name is Zack…" Luffy had initially wanted to say that, but the words changed on his lips. "Monkey D. Luffy!"
He hadn't changed his name for seventeen years. The name Luffy was backed by many powerful figures, and he wouldn't lose it. As for his original name, it was useless in this world.
"Monkey D. Luffy... Never heard of it." Alvida sneered. "Just you? I thought another pirate ship had arrived. If you know what's good for you, scram, or I'll kill you."
"Telling me to scram? Alright, alright. Since you're so rude, don't blame me, you fatty, just watch me kill you!"
Everyone around them was stunned. In a corner of the ship, a yellow-haired girl stared with wide eyes, her eyeballs almost popping out. The pirates fell silent, their jaws practically hitting the floor.
It was over. This person, daring to insult Lady Alvida?
He must be tired of living!
Quick, quick, get out of the way! Lady Alvida is going to make him move!
A group of pirates scattered, fleeing and hiding. Alvida gritted her teeth, her face trembling with anger.
"You… are… looking… for… death!"
Her rage was uncontrollable. Her plump body leaped, raising her spiked club, and swinging it hard toward Luffy.
Luffy's expression didn't change. A terrifying aura suddenly erupted from his body! Instantly, the sky changed, and an invisible force spread wildly from his body. Even the air seemed to roar!
"Ah, Conqueror's Haki is too flashy, not suitable for showing off."
"Let's use the Armament Haki intermediary, condense!"
"Bang!"
With a single punch, Alvida was instantly sent flying, blood splattering in the air. This punch had nearly pierced her!
"Ho... how is that possible..."
Plop!
Before she could finish her sentence, her massive body fell into the sea, her consciousness blurred, her life or death unknown!
"That's it?" Luffy was a little disappointed. He thought this woman had some ability. Sure enough, in a place like the East Blue, using Armament Haki against a small pirate was like an adult fighting a child!
The pirates were all dumbfounded. "One punch sent the Captain flying? This guy a monster! Run!"
They dropped their goods, jumped into their boats, and fled in a panic. In less than thirty seconds, dozens of pirates had vanished.
"What are you waiting for here?" Luffy glanced at Koby. He wasn't like the original Luffy, who could befriend someone who aspired to be a Marine Admiral. They had different paths.
"Don't, don't kill me! I'll leave right away!" Koby was so scared that he quickly grabbed a small boat and rowed away.
Luffy shook his head. "Maybe letting him go wasn't a big deal?"
As he was thinking, he suddenly frowned and looked behind him. His Rocket Punch shot right in front of the yellow-haired girl.
"Ah!!" The girl was startled and almost fainted.
After a few seconds, she quickly hugged her valuables to her chest, allowing Luffy to hold her shoulder.
"Everyone else can run, but you can't!"
Nami was too shocked to speak. This guy was a real monster!
"I've been watching you all this time, sneaking around. You're a thief, aren't you?" Luffy smiled very happily.
Nami shook her head coyly, her eyes sparkling, with a flattering smile, and said softly, "Sir, I'm just a small thief, not a threat. Please don't kill me, okay?"
As she spoke, she deliberately displayed her beauty, hoping to melt Luffy.
