Liam sat around the table with two editors around him, his eyes moved on the screen. The door of the conference room opened and closed and a lady in blue dress stepped in. She had a smile on her face as she walked towards them.
"Good afternoon Mr. Adams," she greeted before exchanging pleasantries with the other two women in the room.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting, she said pulling out a chair and taking a seat. She placed the file on her hand kn the table.
Liamntapoes his feet in the floor restlessly he has already lost patience waiting for her. He was supposed the with Aurora like he planned. They should be having a discussion right now. On a second thought, he realised that it Maj be better to keep her waiting for him.
"Why did you call for us!" He questioned.
"It's about miss Aurora, she no longer wants to walk with miss Blair." Mrs Linda the chef editor said. This information caused liam to lift a brow. "What did you just say?' he questioned.
Mes. Linda repeated herself. Anger rushee through Liam's body as started at the file, proof of the transfer. "We need your approval before this can be finalised."
Liam stood abruptly, pushing the chair back roughly. The chair screeched loudly on the floor. "Rejected it, Jenny will not be changing her editor, I refuse to grant my approval."
He stormed out of the room as he walked he dailed Aurora's number. Why would she make such important decisions without consulting him? And he was sure she also didn't tell Jenny, if she thinks this was joking to work, then she was joining.
He walked to her office but was informed she had left. He fist his palm till his knuckles turned white and continuously called her.
Aurora has been acting strangely since he met her at the lobby two days ago the embarrassment was still fresh in his memory. If anyone has the nerve to be angry, then it should be him.
Just as he was about to leave her office his phone rang, Jenny was calling. He spoke to her for a while before dashing out the door and rushing to his car. Aurora was in the hospital. He had to be there too.
