Odin's POV

A minute earlier

Stepping out of the mist and floating with the help of Dragon's awakened property, the two Ring members looked down at the plaza to observe today's participants.

"Quite the gathering we've got here. Almost a shame none of them will have a good time today," Dragon mused, his hands clasped firmly behind his back.

Floating beside him, Odin thought to himself, ‚Hopefully that nanite thing will be worth my time' while eyeing the cloaked figure beside Shigaraki. They were about to descend when a sword slash came flying through the sky, aimed directly at them.

Moving his fingers around, the metal mask-wearing man was barely able to set up a defensive net of metal threads, catching the sword strike from the cane-wielding teacher. Pushed back by the sheer force of the impact, Odin was unable to fully withstand the shockwave.

"My, my, aren't you an interesting fellow. Just where did you learn those skills?" Dragon commented as he locked into a stalemate with the other green-space user.

"I could ask you the same question!" Joker replied before they separated and descended into the ring of thugs in the plaza.

Due to the intensity of the clash, Odin was released from the grasp of Dragon's telekinesis and landed on the plaza as well. Continuing to observe the exchange between the two, he saw Joker sheathing his cane sword and Dragon retracting the threads.

They looked at each other intensely before the cane wielder spoke:

"I'd say we get rid of the fodder before we continue this conversation. Wouldn't you agree?"

Nodding, the other combatant affirmed the statement.

"Yes, of course. They should not get in the way of our conversation."

Both of them then released a massive burst of presence from their bodies, instantly knocking out all thugs around them and forcing Shigaraki to one knee.

"Odin, go ahead with the plan. I think I'm going to have a bit of fun with this one here," the mysterious leader instructed calmly.

"Oh, so eager to fight. How I missed having such conversations. I guess I shouldn't keep you waiting," Joker mused before tapping his cane on the ground, chanting, "Release recollection."

A techno-magical circle appeared beneath him, and both fighters vanished into emerald and dark green flashes darting through the dome of the facility.

Sensing an attack from a familiar decay user incoming, Odin swiftly moved out of the way of his lunge before smacking Tomura into the distance with the flat side of his spear, like he was hitting a baseball.

"YOU MOTHERFU—!" he could faintly hear the destructive maniac yell before crashing into Eraser and disappearing into the forest zone.

About to reach his main objective, Odin turned, already sensing the lunge of the robotic life form. He lazily moved his spear and parried the strike, bringing the beast off balance, before summoning Huginn.

The golden-blue aura-constructed crow emerged from his cloak and breathed out a torrent of golden-blue flames from its beak, turning the Nomu's cloak into ashes.

Now finally revealing its true form, Odin could make out a creature with traits from various animals, including the head of what appeared to be a dragon without horns, the body of a wolf standing on two feet, and the raptorial claws of a praying mantis for hands.

Its entire body seemed to be made of some sort of metal, probably tungsten to resist the heat of Huginn's flame breath.

Then, as the nanites shifted back into their original coloration, mainly black with glowing purple accents, it made a beeping noise akin to a robot.

"Target locked. Commencing disposal."

With Huginn perched on his left shoulder, Odin took his stance.

The nanite beast charged and changed the material of its claws back into tungsten before clashing with the flame-user's golden spear. The two of them ferociously exchanged blows, with Odin taking the lead and controlling the pace.

They clashed and separated repeatedly until the beast opened its mouth and fired a superheated blue flame breath attack at its opponent point-blank while they were locked in a stalemate.

Waiting for the smoke to clear, it looked expectantly at the cloud, only to find nothing once it cleared.

"Look behind you," something warned sarcastically.

The Nomu turned, only to get slashed horizontally in half by Gungnir.

To deal a bit of extra damage, Odin distanced himself, and Huginn sent another torrent of golden-blue flames directly at the bisected creature.

Landing back on the spear-wielder's shoulder, the aura construct awaited its next command.

As the flames died down, Odin observed the Nomu's body halves turn into lava before merging back into one giant blob, which then reshaped into a Cerberus-like three-headed dog made of molten rock.

‚I guess it was to be expected it could regenerate to some extent. I'm glad I could confirm it can't clone itself, though. Seems like it can only sustain a limited amount of nanites. But anyway... a lava Cerberus? Seriously?'

Odin tapped the blunt end of his spear on the ground as a giant wave of golden-blue ice grew over the creature, sealing it in a prison of massive ice crystals.

Another golden-blue crow aura construct flew toward Odin, this time landing on his right shoulder. This was Muninn, the ice crow.

The ice began cracking as the heat of the Nomu increased to the point where the ice couldn't withstand it anymore, eventually shattering.

Not waiting, the creature rammed its front paws into the cement and spread its lava underground.

Pillars of molten rock erupted from below, turning the battlefield into a lake of lava with only a few patches of cement to stand on.

‚I really don't like where this is going. Muninn!' he mentally instructed.

The crow complied, freezing the lava lake in a layer of golden-blue ice.

Charging ahead at the mythical-looking beast, Odin had only one thought in his mind:

"Let's get started on round two!"
