"Insolent brat! I'll have you know I'm the second lieutenant of Eclipse, Tempus, also known as the Chrono Warden. And for your insolence, you shall die here and now!" the man screamed at the top of his lungs before stretching his hand out in front. His eyes glowed with a faint golden light, and the hands of his clock mask moved slightly to the left, clockwise.
Suddenly, the floor beneath the crimson-eyed boy shot up a pillar, launching him directly toward the pendulums. One pendulum, in particular, that was about to hit him suddenly sped up. Not hesitating, the boy charged up a sword skill and cut the giant thing in half. Then, landing on the floor, without wasting a second, he charged straight at the
clock-masked man.
„ I'm not the one who will die today clock-face" exclaimed an angry katsuki before charging another sword skill then yelling „ icicle slash" however the light blue glowing sword never made contact instead it slowed down before hitting Tempus and opened the boy up for a counter attack. Wich the man gladly took. Sending a right hook directly at his aggressor sending him back a few meters.
‚ the heck was that my blade was about to hit him but ...' before he finished his thought the chrono warden already sent another attack at him this time the giant clock hands on the floor speed up intending to swipe the ash blonde boy off his feet. But reacting quickly he jumped over it avoiding danger only to find a bunch of smaller clock hands shot at him.
Charging up his „ waterfall slash" he intended to defend against it but right before he hit the projectiles they got incased in some sort of bubble and again slowed down. Then after his sword passed them and he was in a vulnerable position. And the hands suddenly accelerated, four of the seven total projectiles hitting the boy.
‚ crap that hurts like a bitch' landing on his knees he then looked down at his body three only grazed him giving him a few small cuts but one hit him directly in the shoulder. Pulling it out he then continued dogging attacks left and right with either his sword or other things randomly or maybe planned changing their speed.
‚ I see so he can make these sort of time bubbles that slow or speed up things, it's one heck of an annoying quirk. I just need to figure out how he moves the room and the traps' Katsuki thought before throwing his head back to avoid a speeding pendulum.
‚ How the hell is this brat so annoying it's like he's getting used to my time lapse ability. His reflexes are also outstanding, it seems like I'll have to up my game' Tempus thought while strategizing where to put his next bubble before speaking.
„ That's some battle skill you have there brat tell me is that sword glow Thinge your quirk" he asked the crimson eyed boy who was currently smashing another pendulum. „ Sure I'll tell you my quirk but before that don't you think you should do the same?" the boy replied.
‚ hmm he probably already knows my quirk so I have nothing to lose in this situation' the time user thought before saying „ My quirk is called time lapse I can make these wonderful basketball sized bubbles that slow or sped up anything inside them. I can create them anywhere I can see even on the clockworks on the wall. There now it's your turn tell me your quirk"
„ Huh I didn't think you'd actually buy this whole exchange of quirks, you think I'd actually tell you my quirk just because you asked. I'm not stupid you know, but thanks for the tips to beat you" Katsuki said while running on the wall with a grin before slashing at onother wave of clock hands while thinking ‚ jokes on him my actual quirk right now is pretty much useless, the best my explosions could do right now is maybe slightly burn him but that's basically useless. But now I at least know how he moves the room around. He speeds up and slows down the gears in the wall to trigger traps'
„ you fiend you will pay for this trickery, I shall have your head on a pike" the man said while thinking ‚god damnit I can't believe I fell for the oldest trick in the book' then continuing his plan for revenge.
Dashing between obstacles and getting cut multiple times Katsuki made his way towards Tempus slowly but surely. Then quickly dogging the giant clock on the ground with a back flip, then landing on one hand and pushing himself of the ground into a striking position aimed at his opponent. Charging up „ horizontal stone Split" he landed on the ground before the chrono warden and laid out a faint wich the man fell for making a bubble right before his sword but he quickly changed his blade's trajectory and was on a clean path towards his neck.
‚ that's it you're done I win' however looking at his opponent there was not fear of death on his face. And before he noticed it the man had placed a bubble at his own feet accelerating his own doge and then kicked upwards at Katsukis chin with an accelerated foot, then before the boy gained his composure again sent a pillar directly into his stomach sending him flying towards the roof and finishing him of a large pendulum cut deep into his back. Falling downing his stomach and lying in a pool of his own blood yet again, not having any more strength to stand up.

With Izuku a couple minutes earlier
Izuku was currently dogging yet another beam of rainbow stardust energy, landing on his feet he intended to rush at nexus but then about four meters in front of him the gravity suddenly increased making the swordsman loose his speed. However the increased gravity did not stop him from continuing his assault even at lesser speeds.
‚ Claws purifying wind' he thought before releasing four vertical slashes on the star harbinger, who simply lifted his hand and formed the energy from his blasts into a triangular shield then kicked Izuku in the face knocking him back a few meters. With Izuku barely able to land.
„ While your Sword technique is impressive, your attacks are predictable. You lack the experience to fight someone of my level, I expected more of the next generation of the void veil" with a calm tone of voice having his hands behind his back walking slowly around the room.
„ Well then let me show you what I can really do and then you'll tell me about that void thing you keep talking about" Izuku stated emotionless while his panther mask crumbling from he's face revealing two emerald green eyes slowly turning white with a black sclera. Then going into a low stance his sword sheathed whispering „ Thunder clap and Flash, Godspeed" before taking off at blinding speed towards his enemy.
‚ He really does have it but why did he only start using it now' well no matter I'll just beat him and capture him like master ban instructed me to' Nexus though before waving his hand in front of him the rainbow energy seemingly opening up forming a portal wich the now white eyed boy passed through and appeared in the opposite direction a couple of meters away where nexus had already shot a blast at. However to his surprise Izuku skillfully dogged the attack and immediately continued his assault at him.
Forming another shield, blocking the attack and then disappearing into a portal while increasing the gravity on his opponent's blade. ‚ impressive his battle instinct got sharper, but that is to be expected since he's activated it. However it will still not be enough to stop my cosmic conductor!' coming out of the portal in the air and manipulating the gravity to make himself float he shot multiple rounds of cosmic blasts at Izuku.
They continued to trade blows back and forth with izuku getting closer and closer to hitting him every time ‚ I see it now, I now what his quirk does, by channeling cosmic energy into his body he can reshape space by opening wormholes to teleport short distances, manipulate gravity, harden space to form shields and simply releasing pure cosmic energy as projectiles. I can see it' dogging blasts more fluidly each time.
‚ I see so this is the adaptation process master Ban warned me about'
Flash back three years ago
‚ Now that you are my new lieutenant there are a few things I need to share with you nexus" Ban spoke on his sofa with Nexus sitting opposite of him. „ Please master Ban share anything you deem necessary for me to know" the new lieutenant spoke calmly.
„ Good well you see I have made enemies with someone who has let's say a rather annoying ability to deal with, his eyes turn this detestable black and white color, it's called the void veil and it gives the user the bothersome ability to adapt to quirk use by slowly being able to see the way their opponent's quirk functions by observing something called void energy. It basically shows him where the quirk will be used and what it will do, the more he sees of the quirk the faster, and clearer the adaptation gets. Its really bothersome since it also completely blocks emotions making them focus only on the fight. Make sure you have a strategy against him, k nexus" nodding they continued their talk
Back to the present
‚I have to finish this now or I'll lose, Time to use my trump card" he thought while doing a sword strike from Izuku then teleporting away.
Izuku already seeing the other end of the portal before it even opened prepared a sword skill ‚ Flaming thunder god' before dashing of towards the location he foresaw. But to his surprise instead of Nexus coming out of the portal the portal transformed into a black hole and with Izuku dashing right into it, it severely damaged stomach, tore of the rest of his cloak and breaking his left arm. Falling to the ground looking at the man who bested him.
‚ One of the few weaknesses of his eyes is the fact he can't foresee things he hasn't once witnessed before' the man thought walking up to his defeated foe holding one of his hands that looked severely damaged. ‚ But i never expected that I'd have to use black hole in such a risky method just to have a shot at surprising him'
Continuing to look at the footsteps of his opponent the green haired boy thought ‚ I lost I'm sorry mum Asahi but I don't think I'll make it to breakfast tomorrow' closing his eyes he expected to see a black void like usual but instead he found himself in a unfamiliar room it was a combination of a living room kitchen and dining room, looking around he saw three people sitting on the sofa watching the end of a movie.
There were two boys and one girl who had her head on one boy's chest. She had Snow White hair with one stripes of light purple Izuku couldn't see her face since he was standing behind them. The boy she was lying on looked a lot like his avatar from Aincrad but I'm civilian clothing. Then the other boy who sat a bit away from them and looked a lot like Katsukis Avatar spoke „ hey Izuku get me some popcorn from the kitchen would ya"
Then the older green haired boy answered „ sure let your word be my command o great Kaachan the sloth" then he waved his hand and a portal made from green and black mist appeared and dropped an open basket of popcorn right in his lap reading to be eaten. But before the katsuki looked teen could eat it it floated over his head and unloaded the popcorn.
Then clock hands form out of blue and silver energy and turn counterclockwise, then the popcorn bucket got back in his lap while the popcorn got back in. „ You wanna fight lizard"
Teen Izuku prepared to speak but the girl came up and gave him a kiss on the lips before saying „ Izuku dear don't you dare start a fight, I waited weeks to watch this movie" in a loving tone then turning around to teen katsuki, her face still not visible to our Izuku, she said threateningly but calmly „ and you'll go get your popcorn yourself next time or I'll tell Kurenai about this" shutting the now flustered boy up they continued to watch the move. Our Izuku intended to get closer but the room turned all back again leaving him alone.
Drifting in the black void Izuku thought to himself ‚ I see, thank you, now now I know what I have to do'
