"Do you think the Winchesters will get to finish the job?" Illias asked Castiel. They were in New York.
"I have great faith in Dean," Castiel answered stoically.
"But not in Sam, huh? You don't trust him much, do you?" Illias laughed as he stretched his arm towards Castiel whose stoic was broken when he saw a milkshake appear in the outstretched palm. He took it hesitantly before answering.
"He has demon blood in him! Anyone who has any piece of those foul creatures in them should never be trusted," he answered while wondering what to do with the milkshake. Illias wanted to laugh at this uncle of his but held his tongue.
"You suck on the straw," he adviced him before his eyes turned to across the street. "Ah, there she is." Castiel turned to where he was looking and his eyes narrowed when he saw a raven haired woman talking to a gaunt man inside a cafe. It was more than he was reacting to the demons in the men more than the people themselves.
"Are you here on work?" Castiel asked, letting the milkshake fall, already forgetting about it.
Illias chuckled at this. It always amazes him how angels didn't like anything human, even food, despite how good it was. He himself, thanks to a new body was learning to appreciate the twenty first century food more and more. If only McDonald would stop using human meat in their burgers he would be their biggest customer.
"When I met Sam, I realized two things. One, the boy should definitely get a girlfriend. The co-dependency on his brother was very very unhealthy. Or maybe a therapist. He has anger issues," Illias answered as another milkshake appeared in his palm. He took a huge gulp of the frosted sweetness as Castiel patiently waited for him to continue.
"Second, his is on a clock. More precisely, he has two types of demon blood in him, just like how human blood has DNA. I could feel two types of blood in him; one was the stronger kind, the foundation of what he is today, the origin of his nightly activities, the blood belonging to a knight of hell. It is acting as the catalyst to his growing power," Illias said.
"The other is just fuel. A consumable commodity he uses to get high and think. I can't track the first one since they killed the bugger already but the second, she would hide as the edge of the universe and I would still find her," Illias took another big gulp of his milkshake.
Castiel's eyes widened as he realized what Illias was saying. He looked at the woman carefully, his eyes turning to steel as resolve started forming. Illias looked at him and shook his head.
"How is your relationship with heaven these days, Castiel?" he asked suddenly, startling the angel. He turned to look at him, eyes filled with shock.
"It's good as it always was," he answered hastily.
Illias had a reputation even in heaven. As it's enforcer, he currently led with the one who had killed the highest number of fallen angels. To say he was especially brutal towards them would be an understatement. It's due to him that for two milleniums no angel has ever killed their brothers or sisters.
"I'm not questioning your loyalty, Castiel, I know you are loyal to the creator," Illias chuckled at his uncle's nervousness.
This Castiel was a far cry from the later Castiel who would come to love the Winchesters and be willing to die for them. Currently, he was just one of heaven's loyal soldier. Illias almost wanted to tell him what he wanted but chose not to.
"You should go check on the boys. Tell them the clock really is ticking," he said and Castiel looked like he had been given a pardon. With a flap of his spiritual wings, he was back in Maple Springs.
Allias turned back to the two demons who were still conversing. He waited patiently till they parted before following the man. Ruby would get hers later on, he was not going to disrupt Chuck's plans. The guy was a vindictive loser. The male demon, on the other hand, was free game.
The demon teleported away once it entered an alley. Allias would have chuckled at the poor attempt at losing any tail. Teleporting was opening a wormhole in space, bending one point of space to another in order to arrive in the locations instantly. Allias simply reached out to the space folding and got where the demon would appear and he appeared before the demon.
It's eyes widened in shock as it appeared, it's neck already in Allias' outstretched palm. Allias grinned savagely before slamming it to the ground, causing a localized earthquake as he crashed all the bones in the human body. The demon was about to scream in pain when golden chains suddenly appeared on him, wrapping him tighter than a burrito while gagging him.
"I thought you two would never stop talking!" Allias said as he let go of the demon and started folding his right hand cuffs. The demon mumbled something, a curse maybe.
"Forgive me, most time I just ask nicely what your true name is before I got to business but I am in quite a hurry. You see, right about this time is usually the time he is busy creating the plot for his pets. This gives me a rare chance to do what I want without him looking at my direction," Allias said softly.
Suddenly, he shoved his hand right into the body's chest, or rather, right into the essence of the body. His hand ignored the organic mass and right into the spiritual mas of it. The demon's eyes shot wide as pain, more agonizing than the pit itself, assaulted it's being.
"You are wondering why the human soul isn't in pain. It's because your demonic essence is what I am after," Allias answered patiently as he slid his hand dipped till he was elbow deep. "Ah, there it is."
The demon howled in pain as Allias damaged around in its essence, unhurriedly. He looked like a village aunty shopping for fruit in the market.
"Don't ruin the moment with your screaming, it's getting annoying," Allias complained as he snapped hiseft hand fingers and suddenly, the body didn't have a mouth. Yet, the scream was still being projected.
"Oh, right, I am playing around with your soul," he chuckled in realization. He continued rummaging in the demon's essence for a few more minutes before pulling out his hand. The demon cries of pain turned to sobs of relief.
"Honestly, the more I look at your kind the more I realize how pathetic you all are. At the end of the day, you lot are just weak willed humans who couldn't be accountable to your sins," Allias insulted it as he smoothed back his cuffs.
"Now, this is going to hurt like hell," he said.
He concentrated to the demon's essence and suddenly split it. The demon scream actually ripped open the smooth skin that was once it lips, blood flowed as it unhinged its jaw even more, the pain of the split making it regret it's existence.
Allias ignored its screaming, controlled the essence to flow down to the groin. There, he chose one sperm specially soaking in demonic energy and fused the split essence with it. From there, he started creating an embryo using the flesh of the demon soaked body, slowly and carefully. All this while, the demon was still screaming bloody murder.
The embryo grew from the size of a zygote to a full nine months old baby. The body had shriveled to a husk by this time and Allias let it finish the process on its own. Like a chest buster, the baby burst open through the stomach, killing the host body entirely. With a cry to announce it was born, Allias picked it up gently.
"Hmm, stronger than the others but not quite there," he said to himself, creating a bottle of warm milk for the baby before tearing open space to his left side. A nun walked out of the rift, a bit on the older side with a build that suggested she was anything but a nun.
"Another one, Allias?" she asked, he voice strong and sounding quite younger. He did not answer her but gave the baby to her.
"You should leave before it's too late," Allias advised and the nun nodded back. She stepped back into the rift and it closed shut. Allias looked at the human soul in front of him looking at him with grievance.
"Thank you for leading your life right to this moment. You have no idea how vast your contributions are," Allias said to him before telepathically wiping his memory of the action he had done. Then, he removed the lock he had on space, letting it return to the greater universe and just then, a Reaper appeared next to the soul. Gently, he took his hand and the two vanished.
"Haaah, what a workout. I wonder how the Winchesters are doing," Allias sighed before teleporting back to Maple Springs.
