Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

When it came to drawing manga, that had once been one of Uchiha Seiji's dreams in her past life. But just like wanting to be a scientist, or an astronomer, or any other childhood fantasy, it had long since been tossed into some forgotten corner.

Back in middle and high school, that dream had resurfaced more than once—usually in the form of doodling all over her textbooks.

The result? Seiji had absolutely no talent for it. At most, she could copy a character's face so that it was vaguely recognizable (maybe 30% similar), but everything else… went completely off the rails.

But now—

Seiji was an all-around genius. A prodigy in everything.

Every aspect of her growth had been rated A-class.

"That's it! I've decided—my future is to be a manga artist who runs an adult novelty shop!"

Sure, it didn't really match the image of a shinobi, but this wasn't the time to nitpick.

With her talent, she could reach professional level in just a few days. The only question was: what to draw?

After three full days of practice, once her art style reached a point that satisfied her, Seiji nodded with approval.

In her past life, she had sometimes wondered: What would it be like if characters from one manga got to see a different world's manga?

Well… she was about to find out.

But the question remained—what to draw?

From the anime she'd watched in her previous life, she only remembered vague outlines of the plots. Most of the details were gone. And the few she did remember—well, if she drew them here, people definitely wouldn't understand.

After all, this was a different world.

So… what to draw?

After some thought, Seiji's eyes settled on One Piece.

Sure, the character names from One Piece were a little strange compared to those in the Naruto world, but that wasn't such a big deal.

They were basically foreign names, right? (She hadn't studied exactly which country they were from—just knew they were foreign.) Even in the Naruto world, the occasional "yes" or "no" slipped into conversation, and their ranking system went D-C-B-A-S. Back when she was just a reader, she hadn't thought much of it. But now that she was in this world, the oddities stood out—like having computers and televisions pop up here.

As for One Piece's storyline, she didn't remember much. But she still knew who the main character was, what abilities everyone had, and the general direction of the plot.

And as for the art style being different? Or the characters not looking quite right?

Ha! Was that a problem? They'd never seen the original anyway.

The pacing being off?

Ha! Was that a problem? They'd never seen the original anyway.

The story deviating here and there?

Ha! Was that a problem? They'd never seen the original anyway.

Some random characters appearing out of nowhere?

Ha! Was that a problem? They'd never seen the original anyway.

And so, the new version—with clumsy early paneling and gradually improving later on—of a heavily modified One Piece was born!

For the first week, Seiji did nothing but draw, eat, and sleep.

By the second week, she would occasionally glance at her work when the television had nothing left worth watching.

By the end of the month…

"Ugh… I don't feel like drawing anymore. Forget it—I'll find some new amusement…"

With her three-minute passion burned out, Seiji set down her pen, tossed the finished pages into her desk drawer, and flopped back onto the bed. She stared at the ceiling, already wondering what to do next…
