Narrator's POVThe woods at midnight were alive with whispers. A circle of witches and warlocks surrounded Sabrina Spellman as she prepared to sign her soul away. The Dark Lord's presence loomed, heavy and suffocating, though unseen.
Candles flickered. Faustus Blackwood read the rites. And Sabrina, standing in the center of it all, clutched the quill with trembling fingers.
Keiran's POVHidden in the treeline, he watched. His midnight eyes locked on her — his sister, his oath, his anchor.
He had sworn not to intervene unless necessary. She needed to make her own choices, walk her own path. But as the quill hovered above the page, his entire being screamed.
She doesn't want this.
And yet, the Dark Lord's power pressed against her, subtle but suffocating. He could feel it in his bones — Lucifer bending her will.
Keiran's fists clenched, shadows curling at his fingertips. If you force her, Father… I will intervene.
Sabrina's POVThe world was spinning. Her heart thundered. Every instinct screamed no, but the circle was closing in around her, suffocating her with expectation. Zelda's eyes urged her forward, Blackwood's words dripped like poison, and the Dark Lord's invisible hand tugged at her soul.
Then… something shifted.
The weight lifted, just slightly. Like a shadow had blocked the Dark Lord's gaze. Her lungs filled with air again.
She glanced toward the woods — and for a heartbeat, she thought she saw someone there. A figure standing tall, eyes like storms, watching her.
Her hand lowered.
"I… I can't."
The circle erupted in gasps and fury.
Zelda's POVFoolish girl! Zelda's heart raced as Sabrina defied everything. Blackwood's face twisted with rage. The coven's whispers turned venomous.
But Zelda also felt… something else. A shift in the air. Like another presence was shielding Sabrina from the Dark Lord's wrath.
Her eyes darted to the treeline, narrowing. Someone was there.
NarratorThe Dark Lord roared, unseen but felt by every soul present. His fury lashed through the circle — but his control had slipped, if only for a moment.
And Keiran, hidden, his power veiled, let out a slow breath. He had intervened without revealing himself. Just enough.
But he knew this was only the beginning.
Soon, Sabrina would need him openly.
Soon, his secret would not remain in the shadows.
