Chapter 1 - Dedication

This work is for those who, over time, have lingered within my stories—

To the readers who delve into shadowed, provocative realms; to those who leave their reflections on X, AO3, and other platforms; to the ones who share impressions, suggestions, and criticisms alike—your support, be it moral, emotional, or financial, has nourished every word that resides here.

To Vivienne Medrano, creator of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, I offer my gratitude for her daring venture into animation, which first inspired this fanfiction. Though I do not align with all her creative choices and believe the series might have delved deeper into its potential, her vision was the spark—without which none of this would exist.

To the team at SpindleHorse Toons, thank you for crafting tales that defy convention's bounds. And to the voice actors whose talents gave breath to unforgettable characters—my appreciation is spread amongst you all.

To those who, through critique and condemnation, have called attention to the morbidity and taboo within this project—I thank you for the echo and the visibility. Rarely is there such a thing as bad publicity; your voices compelled me to recognize every tale has myriad angles, urging me to refine both technique and narrative.

To my family and friends, most especially my partner—thank you for being the sanctuary where my doubts may rest, and the engine that stirs me to rise after each fall. You are the reason I never surrender.

Finally, I am Emilio Palazuelos Gudiño, Mexican by birth and universal in spirit. I author stories that assess the limits of what is deemed acceptable—morbidity and taboo demand exploration, and morality becomes but a creative suggestion I willingly disregard. For me, freedom of expression in fiction is not merely a right—it is a duty.
