Care for Yourl
---
Andrei's POV
He was still massaging and pressing my foot while I kept staring at him. I couldn't take my eyes off him as he continued with what he was doing.
I didn't know if I should start a conversation or at least ask if his body was hurting.
I just found myself smiling because of how caring he was. I honestly didn't know why my heart was feeling this way, and I couldn't even stop it as its beating grew faster and faster.
But despite everything, I still felt happy because I saw how much he wanted to talk to me, and he was the one making the effort so that we could have a conversation.
Yet I also didn't understand why I had been treating him this way lately, even when his intentions were already clear.
Maybe it was because of what I was feeling toward Bianca, the uneasy thoughts I couldn't shake off, making me weak and unlucky most of the time.
Just like what had happened to me now.
After a few moments, the door suddenly opened.
We both turned our eyes toward it.
I was about to stand up when Rayver stopped me, taking the initiative himself.
"I'll do it. Just sit there and rest!" he told me, quickly standing up and heading straight to the door.
While Rayver was walking toward it, the door swung open and the janitor stepped inside the storage room.
Out of excitement, I forced myself to stand up and even tried to walk toward where Rayver was.
"What are you two doing here? What's going on?" the janitor asked him as I kept walking closer to them.
Rayver immediately began explaining what had happened earlier.
"We were just supposed to look for the speaker Sir Ali mentioned, but then the door suddenly closed and the lights started acting up. That's why we're here!" he explained to the janitor.
"I see," the janitor replied simply.
He didn't say anything more, just nodded.
"Alright then, I still have to clean up here," he added as he carried his cleaning equipment into the room.
We quickly took the chance to get out of the storage room.
"Thank you very much, sir," Rayver said as we headed out.
Meanwhile, I was carefully walking, struggling because of the pain in my foot. I couldn't even walk properly anymore because of how badly it hurt, holding my socks and shoes in my hands.
Rayver noticed my struggle, so he immediately walked up to me and spoke.
"Let me help you, Drei!" he insisted, rushing toward me.
"No, it's fine. I can manage on my own!" I told him and tried to keep walking.
"Stop being stubborn," he said firmly. Without hesitation, he grabbed my hand, placed it on his shoulder, and supported me as we walked.
No matter how much I tried to refuse, it was pointless. In the end, I had no choice but to let him help me.
Minutes passed, yet I still couldn't bring myself to talk to him or even call his name. I just kept staring at him. With all the thoughts and questions I wanted to ask, I figured it was better to keep them to myself.
At that moment, I started wondering where exactly he was taking me, since we turned right while the exit and the way to the gymnasium were to the left. Out of confusion, I asked him,
"Where are we going?" I said as I glanced at him and around us.
He didn't answer, so I asked again.
"Where are you taking me?" I pressed, looking straight at him.
Still, he didn't respond and just kept walking.
"Are you deaf?" I asked again, unable to hide my irritation anymore.
"Can you just stop asking so many questions?" he replied seriously, locking eyes with me for a long moment.
I fell silent after what he said, so we just continued walking.
There was nothing I could do but follow him. I frowned the whole way, having no idea where we were going.
A few moments later, I was surprised when I finally saw where he had taken me.
He had brought me to the clinic. We both went inside.

**Inside the clinic**
As soon as we entered, he made me sit on the bed while he stood in front of me, staring straight at me.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, looking at him.
I even stood up, still staring.
"I'm fine, it's not that bad!" I insisted, keeping my eyes on him.
But he didn't say anything. Instead, he placed both of his hands firmly on my shoulders, making me sit back down.
"That's not an option," he said seriously as he held onto my shoulders, leaning his face closer to mine.
He stared at me for a long time. Just then, a female voice suddenly appeared, causing him to let go of me and step back.
"What's going on here?" the nurse asked us.
"My friend twisted his ankle, nurse!" he quickly explained.
"Friend! Tsk," I muttered under my breath, rolling my eyes at him in secret.
"I see," the nurse replied, slowly walking closer to me to examine my foot.
She held it carefully, observing the injury.
"Please get some ice and a compression bandage from the back," she instructed Rayver.
He immediately rushed inside and returned in less than a second, carrying what she had asked for.
"Here you go," he said quickly, handing it over to the nurse.
"That was fast," the nurse joked, smiling at him.
A few moments later, she applied ice to my ankle to prevent swelling and reduce the pain.
After a while, she took the compression bandage and carefully wrapped it around my foot.
My foot started to feel a little better and wasn't as painful as before.
"You need to rest for now," the nurse reminded me, standing up.
"If possible, avoid walking too much so it can heal faster," she added.
I didn't say anything, just nodded and smiled in response.
"But what about the pageant? This can't be. No way," I whispered to myself.
"Thank you," Rayver told the nurse.
"Alright, I'll leave you two here," the nurse said and walked away.
"Yes, thank you," Rayver answered politely.
After she left, he looked back at me and stared.
I couldn't help but look back at him too, though I still didn't know how to thank him for everything he had done for me.
So instead, I just gave him a smile—my silent way of saying thank you.
