After clearing out the front main building, we regroup back together. Briefly checkimg our equipments once more, Shizuka and her team went back downstairs to get into position to begin cleaning out the first floor of the right side.
Kit also left with her team to begin the next phase of the cleanup with team B cleaning out the upper floor.
As for me and the other, we begin cleaning up the front building. The bodies were first looted before being tossed downstairs to be disposed of later.
As for the items, they were stored into a few chests we pulled from some of the rooms.
Selene and Mayumi were the one pulling security while I dragged the body over and Miyuki searched them.
Dragging over 30+ bodies repetitively will get tiring after awhile. Occasionally Selene or Mayumi would dropped 1 or 2 illagers and I have to run over to them and moved the bodies back out of sight.
Shizuka POV
Moving down the corridor we took any illagers we camed across and soon we camed across an intersection.
I had Ilona stayed behind at the point to watch for any illagers that came out while Saeko and I slowly cleared out the right side hall first.
Occasionally we would hear some muted gunshots above us knowing that Kit's team is doing about the same pace as us.
I coordinated with Kit to sync our approaches together with us going the same path.
"Kit have you reached the intersection yet?"
"Yeah"
"Let start with the right side first and have someone behind to watch the intersection."
"It would be safer not having to worry about someone coming up or down the stairs."
"Copy, I'm going to Jules hold the crossed while Kat and I clears the room."
"Copy, moving now."
Ending our talk, Saeko and I began moving down the hallway with Saeko on the left while I stayed on the right.
To keep the noise down, we mostly used our knives.but if the situations requires it we'll shoot.
Quietly open a door, there was an illager sleeping on the bed inside. I silently entered and grabbed the illager off the bed and quickly dispatched them with a swift strike to the side of the head with my knife.
After finished making sure that the room is cleared, I made my way out and proceeded to do the same with the next room.
Exiting the room, I saw my sister had also finished up on her side and is also getting ready to enter the next room.
Just before she could opened the door, 2 illagers had suddenly camed out. Before they could do anything, Saeko had grabbed the one closest to her and throw him to the ground while I had swiftly raised my rifle to dispatched the second illager.
Soon Saeko had also subdue her target, putting him in a choke hold just before breaking his neck.
After making sure that the target is dead, she tossed him to the side and proceeded to enter the room the illagers had just came out of to make sure that its completely cleared.
We swiftly repeated the process of clearing the rooms of the right branchlet. Soon I recieved a radio call that Kit and her team had just finished on her end too.
Returning to the intersection, I swapped out with Ilona taking over security while she and Saeko cleared out the next branch.
As I was watching my position a heavily armored illager came in from the direction of the courtyard to my left, and with him is another illager wearing a decorated robe illager, an evoker.
The armored illager didn't look like it was from the vanilla game, most likely from an installed mod of some sort. He was wearing full plated armor with mail underneath.
Seeing that they're in a bad position to take them out, I hid in the shadow waiting for them to come closer in.
I beeped the radio on the local channel 3 times to signal that there's a bit of an issue outside and shouldn't immediately come out inattentive.
Hearing the beep, 2 response beep came back signaling that they heard my signal.
As the 2 illagers passes by me, I snucked up behind the two, swiftly shooting the evoker first before switching over to shoot the armored knight.
The knight however was able to shrugged the shot off although painfully. Since my rifles wasn't currently chambered with subsonic hollow-point, which is intended for unarmored soft target.
This however left virtually no penetration on hard target, especially heavy armored target.
Recovering from the pain, the knight turned around and look beside him at the body of his companion on the ground with a small pool of blood spilling out.
I tried to swap to my pistol hoping that although less powerful than the 7.62x35mm (.300BLK), it could penetrate the plated armor with FMJ.
But before I could raised my pistol up, the knight had already charged at me and tackled me to the ground.
The illager tried to grab a dagger from his waist, but before he could bring it up. I had kicked away the dagger from his hand and slipped out from his hold.
Using the martial art I had trained, I grapple with the knight using his own weight to bring him down before putting him in a submission hold.
Using this chance, I grabbed a spared knife from my boot before bringing it down at the gap on his throat area.
The illager tried to resist by blocking the strike with his hand, but the the knife impaled through his hand instead.
Soon the armored illager broke free using his natural body strength and beoke free separating himself from me. He then grabbed his sword from his belt and was about to charge and swung at me once more.
Using this chance, I immediately drew my pistol and began emptying several shots at the illager's head. A few lucky shots manage to hit the vision gap in the helmet, but the helmet itself wasn't able to stop the bullets either due to their thin armor.
Having faced a barrage of bullets to the face, the knight immediately collapse on himself bringing a little bit of momentum due to his heavy armour. This however wasn't the end.
