The ground shook as the massive red dragon charged directly towards Violet, flames curled out of its mouth as its eyes shone with fury. It was apparently unaffected by Violet's display, or in actuality the dumb brute seemed to have taken it the entirely wrong way.
Regardless Violet didn't have time to ponder on that for more than a moment as the brute was just about to reach striking range.
Saddly for the red dragon however, Violet was no brute.
Right as the red lept towards Violet, her body simply popped out of existence, reappearing a moment later a good 40 meters away down the street. She let out a snort of contempt at the bumb dragon and retaliated against its attempted attack with a barrage of void bolts.
She didn't think that they would truly wound the beast, but she did want to get a better understanding of exactly how sturdy this foe was.
