With the conclusion of the first item of the auction, Violet sat back into her chair with a satisfied smile on her face, clearly quite pleased with herself over her victory against the city lord.
"Hey, Violet? Why did you buy that sword? You don't use swords and I don't think anyone that we know would really want to use it either?" Luna asked with a bemused look on her face.
Violet nodded seriously as she responded. "Simple, that Lady wanted the item so I took it from her."
Luna blinked at her companions simple reply. "Okay and why was that important? And why jump the price up so much for it?"
"So that everyone knows that it is useless to try and bid against me."
