Surprisingly it was Susan that stepped forwards first. She held her back straight and looked straight into Kaldor's eyes as she spoke up.
"I will go first. Whilst my skill with direct attacks may be somewhat lacking I am confident in my defence and ability to control a battlefield."
"Very good, and fear not for support types I make sure to take that into account when deciding on if you shall pass or not. Also please do not hold back, we have a similar barrier as is present in the colosseum. It will activate to stop a powerful attack that would be about to claim one's life. So feel free to use what trump cards you have to secure your victory."
"With that said, begin!" He then leapt backwards, away from Susan and opening up some space between the two of them. He did take out his axe, but he held it in a defensive stance.
Susan for her part did not immediately attack, instead she opted to set up the battlefield to her advantage.
