Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: The Energy Network

"With these three rune stones, the entire Ghostlands, including the forests and land surrounding the two sanctums, is now immune to the invasion of witchcraft. Our mission is now complete." Grand Magister Belo'vir observed the special magical runes and energy network above the entire Ghostlands with his unique vision.

Leylin was very curious about the rune stone before him. He reached out and tried to touch the huge stone covered with numerous magical runes and patterns.

Just as his left hand was about to touch the rune stone, the stone disappeared. Leylin's left hand passed through the stone without a trace.

Surprised, Leylin asked, "Disappeared? How did you cover this rune stone, Teacher?"

Confused, he wondered, but Belo'vir shook his head and said, "It wasn't covered. This rune stone simply replaced its original state with a special energy, allowing it to continue standing. These runestones are different from those in Eversong Woods and the northern part of Ghostlands. They've undergone a special treatment: energization."

Leylin had read about energization in books in the Mage Tower, but he only understood the basics and didn't delve into it further.

"Prepare for the teleportation. I've already discussed it with Magister Senethir." said Grand Magister Belo'vir.

Following the Grand Magister, the members of the Magisters entered the teleportation circle, followed closely by Leylin's team of mages. While waiting inside the circle, Leylin continued to release his divine power, following the energy emanating from the runestone to explore the surroundings.

Finally, Leylin beheld a strange sight: the entire land of Quel'Thalas, including the island of Quel'Danas, was covered in a web of energy filled with a faint glow. It was incredible. The Sunwell's light illuminated the entire kingdom of Quel'Thalas in a unique way.

After a moment of surprise, Leylin looked at the runestone before him. After losing its radiance, the rune stone finally vanished. It was as if there had never been a rune stone near this altar.

The greatest threat before the war had been ended. After the mission, Leylin returned to the sanctum through Magister Senethir's teleportation spell.

The mission had been very successful over the past few days, but this was because Senethir had exhausted all his magical reserves and almost all of his divine power. After this ordeal, the Magister might not be able to cast powerful teleportation spells for another month.

In the afternoon, Leylin prepared for war in the Sanctum of the Sun, crafting enchanted arrows for the rangers. Joining him in these labors were Aminel and Tyr'ganal.

"Ranger General Sylvanas gave you this mission, why are we helping you with it?" Aminel complained.

Leylin, upon receiving this mission, was also somewhat dissatisfied. This time, Sylvanas asked him to make enchanted arrows for the rangers, and she used a tone of command to force Leylin to do it, without any request or reward.

However, this was during the war, and no matter how dissatisfied Leylin was, he had to carry out the task. After all, the Ranger General was his superior.

"We are members of the same team. At this time, we should share the joys and sorrows." Leylin said as a matter of course.

Tyr'ganal has always been hardworking and he is a good man. He doesn't mind helping his friend Leylin.

Aminel had no other opinions, but when she learned that these arrows were forced on Leylin by the Ranger General Sylvanas, she felt a little unwilling. There are so many mages, why only Leylin was chosen to do this!

"Look at how cheap you are getting. You were not like this when I first met you." Aminel snorted and said to Leylin.

Leylin simultaneously drew a magic circle around three enchanted arrows, then channeled the fire elemental energy surrounding his body into the arrows. "Really? If you truly believe that, then I can only explain that people change." Leylin gave an awkward smile.

Aminel followed Leylin's instructions for making the arrows, sighed, and said nothing more.

The atmosphere was slightly awkward. Tyr'ganal chuckled and said, "Frank, get us some water."

Frank tilted his head, pretending not to hear.

"Tomorrow I'll give you a layer of fine thorium. Also..." Tyr'ganal hadn't finished his words when Frank vanished from the three magicians' sight.

Aminel couldn't help laughing: "It's true that the construct is created by the person who created it. If he sees other elves give him a little benefit, he will work hard for her."

Knowing that Aminel was referring to something, Leylin said righteously: "Don't say that to me. Frank and I are different."

Seeing Leylin's serious look, Aminel snorted and said: "Yes, yes, Sylvanas didn't give you any benefits, and you are still working so hard."

Leylin smiled and said: "The teacher is speaking up for me, I can understand. But since it's a task, we just do it. It won't be very tiring."

With a slight blush on the side of her face, Aminel buried her forehead in the arrow and whispered: "Who wants to speak up for you."

Seeing Aminel's slightly shy look, Tyr'ganal looked at Leylin and said: "Ahem, the weather is nice. But why hasn't Frank come yet? I'll go and see."

Tyr'ganal's weird tone made Leylin a little uncomfortable. He said: "Why did Frank leave? Does he want to be lazy?" Leylin continued to play dumb.

Aminel looked up, biting her lip with her white teeth. Then she said, "He might have misunderstood, mistaking our sincere friendship and teacher-student relationship for something less than ideal."

Leylin continued, "Indeed, Tyr'ganal's thoughts are not pure."

"Tsk, you're the only one who's pure." Aminel's smile returned.

"Leylin, are the enchanted arrows finished?" As Aminel finished her words, another female elf's voice rang out.

Sylvanas jumped off her hawkstrider and, taking a few quick steps, arrived in front of Leylin.

"Well, that's almost done, Ranger General Sylvanas."

"Here are two hundred enchanted arrows, plus the ones made by Aminel, for a total of 280." Leylin quickly counted the enchanted arrows on the workbench.

Sylvanas said nothing, simply storing all the enchanted arrows in a magic bag. She maintained a cold expression and said nothing.

After Aminel finished making the last enchanted arrow, she tossed a handful of arrows into Leylin's arms and said, "Leylin, I've helped you so much, and you didn't even say thank you. If you ask me for help like this again without any reason, I will definitely not help you."

Following Aminel's gaze, Leylin could only smile bitterly. After saying this, Aminel waved her hand and walked away.

Returning his gaze to Sylvanas, Leylin felt a little embarrassed.

"Don't be embarrassed. This mage named Aminel is talking about me. I don't care what she says about me, but you have to think clearly. If you do anything to let me down, I will make you pay the price." Sylvanas looked at Leylin coldly.

"You still have something else to say." Leylin smiled faintly, completely ignoring Sylvanas's words.

"What are you talking about?" Sylvanas said.

"Thank you."
