Chapter 111 - Kill Count + 731

"Charge into the Daimyo Capital and kill the Daimyo!"

Unkai's furious roar exploded in the conference room, making the air seem to freeze for a moment.

Shun frowned slightly and raised a hand to signal for everyone to be quiet. His movement was light, yet carried an undeniable authority.

"If we kill the Land of Fire Daimyo, the other four great nations will, under the pretext of 'revenge,' launch a joint attack on the Land of Fire, and ultimately, Konoha will be destroyed in this chaotic war."

Unkai's fists cracked as he clenched them, his knuckles turning white from the force. "Killing is not an option, not killing is not an option, so what solution do you have?"

Shun didn't answer immediately but turned and walked to the window.

Konoha, in the twilight, lit up with scattered lights, and cooking smoke curled upwards in the evening breeze.

A few children chased each other down the street, their laughter faintly audible, carefree, as if war had never happened.

He turned around, a slight smile on his lips, with his usual confidence, and said softly, "I have already arranged a fallback plan for everyone, but now is not the right time. So, please be patient for a while and do not leave Konoha recently."

As his words fell, the air in the conference room seemed to grow heavier, pressing down on everyone's shoulders.

Everyone exchanged glances, like a group of restless beasts before a storm.

Hiashi's fingers tapped lightly on the table, the hurried rhythm exposing his deliberately suppressed anxiety.

"A fallback plan? Advisor Shun, could you be more specific?"

Shun's voice remained steady. "The time is not yet ripe. The fewer people who know, the safer the plan."

Tsume suddenly slammed her hand on the table, and her dog, Kuromaru, on her shoulder, bared his fangs and let out a low growl.

"This excuse won't appease our clan members. My ninja dogs have already smelled the scent of three different ninja villages."

Shun's lips curled into a confident smile. "Clan head Tsume worries too much, nothing will happen."

Shibi pushed up his sunglasses, and a glowing insect crawled out of his sleeve. "My insects found dozens of rogue ninjas in the Forest of Death, setting up some kind of barrier."

A collective gasp echoed in the conference room.

Shikaku narrowed his eyes and slowly asked, "Advisor Shun, your so-called fallback plan, does it require our clans to make some preparations in advance?"

Shun smiled back, asking, "Shikaku, what kind of preparations do you think are necessary?"

The temperature in the conference room seemed to drop by several degrees.

Choza stopped chewing, Inoichi opened his eyes, and the gazes of the Ino–Shika–Chō trio met in the air, silently exchanging information.

Hiashi frowned, somewhat uneasy. "For example, do we need to inventory the secret Ninjutsu scrolls of each clan? Or compile a list of portable supplies?"

Shun suddenly showed a playful expression. "If there is a need, I will inform you. However, why are you so panicked? Just because there are 731 insignificant rogue ninjas outside the village?"

Everyone was slightly stunned, clearly unable to keep up with his thought process.

Shun shrugged, "You are, after all, ninjas of my Konoha. Originally, I wanted to leave them for you to earn a small fortune. But your fear, however, surprises me."

He stood up, hands in his sleeves, his tone relaxed, as if discussing the weather.

"Since that's the case, I'll take care of it myself. Everyone, step outside and watch my performance."

Many Jonin exchanged glances but still followed him out of the conference room to the plaza outside the Hokage Building.

Shun stood in the center of the plaza and slowly closed his eyes.

The next second, his eyes snapped open, and three tomoe twisted and connected, forming a complex pattern that exuded a suffocating pressure.

Mangekyo Sharingan, Ocular Technique: Divine Eye, Activate.

His Ocular Technique instantly unfolded, his vision covering the entire Konoha and a 72-kilometer radius around it.

In his eyes, the position of every intruder was as clear as a torch in the night. All 731 underground bounty hunters were locked on. At the same time, he sensed the hundreds of Flying Thunder God Marks he had placed around Konoha.

These marks were hidden in the roots of large trees, the crevices of rocks, the banks of rivers, and even the inconspicuous corners of some civilian houses. He had long turned Konoha's entire defense system into his own domain.

He casually tossed out a Flying Thunder God Kunai and clapped his hands together:

Shadow Clone Technique!

Bang... Bang... Bang...

366 Shadow Clones appeared instantly, and then vanished just as quickly.

Each Shadow Clone instantly teleported precisely to the vicinity of its target via a Flying Thunder God Mark.

On a cliff, a samurai of Elite Jonin level fell into a Genjutsu and had his heart pierced by a kunai.

In the forest, a rogue ninja who was setting up explosive tags had his throat pierced by a kunai.

By the river, an unknown lurking rogue ninja had his neck snapped.

There were no screams, no struggles, not even time to react.

The speed of Flying Thunder God, combined with the number of Shadow Clones, turned this slaughter into a precise harvest.

The plaza was silent, with only the night breeze blowing.

Everyone held their breath, waiting for his next move.

In less than 10 seconds to 3 minutes, the Shadow Clones began to return one after another. Each Shadow Clone held two corpses in its hands.

Thud!

A corpse was thrown to the ground.

Thud!

Another one.

Thud!

And another.

Soon, the plaza was piled high with the bodies of 731 rogue ninjas, and the smell of blood permeated the air.

Shun yawned and said lazily, "Record the identities of the corpses. If these people have bounties, remember to collect the bounty money for me."

He scanned the dumbfounded Konoha higher-ups, a slight smile on his lips.

"You are, after all, Konoha ninjas. In the future, when you encounter things, be a little calmer. Don't embarrass me."

With that, he put his hands in his pockets, whistled, and leisurely left the plaza.

In less than 3 minutes, 731 bounty hunters were all annihilated. Among them, there were even many Elite Jonin.

Many Konoha higher-ups stood in place, speechless for a long time.

Shikaku slowly exhaled and murmured, "Mangekyo, Flying Thunder God, a massive number of Shadow Clones. His combat system is simply unsolvable."

Hiashi's Byakugan trembled slightly, and his heart was in an earthquake, 'Damn it. Why is he so strong? I'm so envious.'

Tsunade stood at the back of the crowd, her eyes flickering with complex light.

'Shun... how many secrets does your Mangekyo still hide?'

The night breeze blew, stirring a few fallen leaves that drifted towards the distant Hokage Rock.

And Shun's figure had long disappeared into the darkness.
