Chapter 3 - Colosseum

The next day, the morning sun had just risen when Arya turned towards two of his colleagues.

"It's finished packing? Come on, we leave," he said.

"Already!" said Dina and Gamma in unison.

After traveling all day, they finally decided to rest. Arya raised his hand, giving a stop signal.

"Alright, let's rest first. Eat, while we talk."

Arya then opened her magic pocket and issued various types of weapons. He placed one by one on the cloth.

"Gamma, what weapons do you want to wear? Here there are swords of one small and thin hand, cage, pistols, and yarn rolls that can cut anything if they are magic."

Gamma looked at the weapons with curiosity.

"Hmm ... how do I don't know. Sis Arya has a recommendation?"

Arya nodded. "Good. I recommend the thread."

"Why thread?"

"You can disappear, right? If you meet someone who has a search skill, you can outwit them using this thread. Just install the trap or close their path. This thread cannot be decided or melted. Made of mithril."

"Mithril?! What do you mean ... that rare metal?! Where did you get?"

Dina replied casually while bribing her food, "No need to think about it. She is abnormal. All the weapons, except the gun, are made of Mithril. Even two of my daggers are also from Mithril."

"I got it at the mine," Arya said, explaining. "But it takes a search skill to find its location. The lambit is also difficult, you have to be careful so that the mine does not collapse. The processing is complicated. But the reason is clear: Mithril is easily filled with magic."

"Great!" Gamma's eyes sparkled. "Then I choose thread."

"Okay. Now try to feel the flow of magic in your body first."

"But I don't have magic. I can only use the skill disappear."

"No, Gamma. All living creatures have magic in their bodies. But if you are not talented, the magic can't be used. You are different, you are talented. Just need to be trained a little. Here ..." Arya touched his palm into Gamma's hands, channeling magic energy.

"Feel what is in your palm."

"Hmm ... warm ... a little cold, and comfortable?"

"Right. That's the magic energy. Now close your eyes, calm the mind, and look for that energy in you."

Gamma closed her eyes. "Hummmm ... magic energy ... magic energy ..." he opened his eyes. "I can't find it, sis ..."

"Haha, just relax. Try it."

A few minutes passed until finally Gamma opened her eyes wide.

"Oh! Here?! It feels the same as before in my palm!"

"Good!" Arya smiled. "Now distribute it to this thread. Think of the thread is an extension of your hand."

Gamma tried. A few seconds later, the thread began to shiny fine.

"Wow! The thread is like shiny!"

"Great. You're really talented, even though it's only nine years old. Just like the two of us at the beginning of the practice. Try to cut the tree next to that wearing this thread."

Settt!

The tree was cut cleanly.

"Wow?! How can it be interrupted even though there is no pressure at all?!"

"The thread has been strong so as not to hurt the user or the closest person. Now you just train your fingers and palms to be able to attract and control it with a little. The maximum length is one kilometer."

"Ready, sis! I'll practice loudly!"

"Good. Now continue to eat."

Dina was almost finished eating. "Nyam Nyam ... eh, the food is gone?"

Arya looked at the plate. "Why, how come the food here is just a little?!"

"You mostly chat, so I eat partly," Dina said casually.

"Sis Dina! Why is it so greedy! I just just ate a little!" complained gamma.

"Hahaha, who quickly he got!"

"Already, already," Arya laughed. He opened his magic pocket again. "This is still there."

"Yeayyy!" Gamma and Dina cheered together.

But Gamma immediately pointed to her brother. "But Sis Dina has eaten a lot. You can't!"

"What?! Don't be stingy!" Reply Dina.

Arya can only laugh at the two.

While chewing, Gamma said, "Sis, something is lacking from the weapon. Can the threads be formed into a ring and reduced using magic space?"

"Oh? You want to use the magic of the room to shrink and make it a ring? What if I make two rings? One in the right hand, one on the left."

"Can that be like that?!"

"Sure! Who am I?" Arya laughed broadly. "Come on, leave it first."

Gamma handed over her thread.

"Just one hour," said Arya. He began to work, carved out the magic of the space into the structure of Mithril's yarn.

A few moments later, Arya handed over the results. Two small silver bluish rings.

"Here it is. Each ring can take out a 500 meter thread."

"Wow! So big brother! Genius!"

"Wahahaha! Praise your sister!"

"Tch. Crazy praise," murmured Dina.

Arya laughed louder. "Try it first. Get used to using it."

Gamma nodded. Three days passed, and he was increasingly adept at using his new weapon.

The journey continues to the city of Eryua.

When the afternoon changed the night and the sky was reddish in the west, Gamma turned to Arya and Dina who walked in front.

"Eh, can I fight too or not?" he asked.

Arya turned briefly. "You can't. It's too dangerous."

"Right," Dina added quickly. "It's not time for you."

But Arya was silent for a moment, looking forward as if thinking. "Hmm ... but maybe direct experience will be more useful for him ..."

Dina immediately glared. "You want to let your child as beautiful as Gamma fight?!"

"It's not like that. But you yourself will be with him during infiltration. If he gets a real experience, he can learn to face a real enemy."

"Yes ... but instead of sparring with me safer?"

"Safe? You? The fanatical battle?" Arya taunted while chuckling.

Dina hit Arya's arm lightly. "Huh?! You mocked me huh?!"

Gamma looked at the two in turn. "So ... may or not?"

Arya finally nodded. "Okay, but don't stay away from Dina, huh?"

"Yes, it will be dangerous," Dina added in a soft tone.

"Thank you brother!"

That night, they arrived in the Eryua region. The city seemed quiet, but the aura of crime was strong in the air. Gamma, who wants to help more, accept assignments from Arya.

"Gamma, can I entrust information to you?"

"Just leave it to me," he replied. He immediately disappeared, moving quickly towards the target mansion.

After infiltrating, Gamma realized something.

"Only fifteen guards?" he muttered to himself. "Not as much as in Tizar, but their aura ... stronger. Like veterans ..."

The sound from inside the building caught his attention.

"Sir, don't walk too far! Exone could have targeted this mansion, like any other place."

"What do you say?! Why should I be afraid?! I have hired an adventurer ranked A issued from their guild - they are famous for being cruel. It can't be defeated!"

Gamma clenched his fists. "A-Rank adventurer? It's bad. I have to report first ... but before, check whether there is a hidden room ..."

After making sure there was no secret room, Gamma returned.

"There are fifteen guards," he reported to Arya. "They were former A-Rank, expelled from the guild because they were too brutal. I didn't find a hidden room."

Arya listened calmly. "A-rank, huh? But you said you want to fight. So, are you ready?"

"Of course! But if I have trouble, help me?"

"Take it easy," said Dina. "My sister and I will support from afar."

"Yes. No need to worry," Arya added.

"Okay!"

Arya looked at the night sky. "We start midnight. Now you can explore first."

Midnight arrived.

"Fine," Arya whispered. "Start."

Dina darted first, quiet like a shadow. Gamma disappeared behind him. They approach the mansion with light steps and full of calculations.

In front of the gate, two guards stood. In an instant, Gamma wrapped one with her thread and strangled it silently. Dina cut the other neck.

* Slice* - separate head, body falls silently.

When they opened the main door, some guards welcomed them.

"So finally you guys appear?"

"Small child?!"

Some of them can see gamma - maybe thanks to the skill * search * or sensitivity to the aura.

"Are you exone?"

"No way, only children?"

Dina and Gamma did not answer. They immediately attacked.

* Clang Clang* - Dina's dagger collided with enemy swords. He retreated, then darted and cut the hands, feet, to the opponent's head.

Gamma moves to those who can't see it. The thread spread - three people were cut in an instant.

"Eh?! Why suddenly someone died?!"

"Watch out! Someone use the skill disappear!"

"Aaargh—!" One fell, his body split.

Dina and Gamma continued to attack, until only one person left. This one is different.

"Gamma, be careful!" exclaimed Dina. "That one is strong!"

"Fine, sis!"

Dina attacked, but the opponent deflected her easily despite her dagger from Mithril.

"Hoo, you're strong too. Who is your teacher?"

"No need to talk much!" shouted Dina while slashing again.

"Ah, don't be cold like that ~"

Gamma attacked from behind with her thread, but the man avoided as if he knew before. Their attack is deadlocked.

"Sis Arya, this one is really strong!" Gamma shouted from a distance.

"I understand ..." whispered Arya.

Dina tried to attack the vital point, but the opponent continued to avoid. Then—*Bang*—The tender pierced the man's head. His body collapsed, killed instantly.

Arya lowered her sniper from the top of the hill.

"Let's look for the ruler now," said Dina.

"He is on the fourth floor," Gamma reported. "Who will kill him?"

"Arya. We fished he came out to Arya's reach. After that, find anyone who was connected to him and killed too."

"Including his son?"

"If you are an adult and don't have a conscience, yes. But if you are still small, you are usually left alive."

"Oh, I see..."

* Slice!* The door was broken through.

"I-that ... why are you here?! Where are the guards?!"

Dina smiled sarcastically. "Good night, trash. Want to run away? Please."

"Brute?! You let me run away?!"

"Please."

The man ran out the mansion with breath. But shortly after stepping out -*bang*—In the bullet pierced his head.

Dina looked at the corpse coldly. "I said you could go. But never said you would be safe."

Gamma was silent.

"How does it feel to kill for the first time, Gamma?" Dina asked quietly.

Gamma looked at her hand. "On the one hand ... I'm happy that people like they die. But on the other hand ... it feels strange. Poor ..."

Dina hugged her sister. "It's a natural feeling. Sometimes, to punish people who have lost their humanity ... we can no longer use humanity."

Gamma nodded slowly.

The execution that night was successful again. And as usual ... only the servants were left alive.

After the ruler of Eryua died, the night calm down. In their resting place, Gamma sat while staring at the campfire.

"What's wrong with you, Gamma?" Asked Arya, seeing his sister's depressed expression.

"It's okay ... just not used to killing people."

"That's a natural thing." Arya nodded slowly. "Not that you have to get used to killing. But this is the path you choose. If it's too heavy, what if in the next mission you don't fight?"

"That's right," continued Dina. "Let us take care of this dirty part."

"No!" Gamma said quickly. "I want to fight! I won't prevent you!"

Arya chuckled. "Haha, that's it. If that's what you want. By the way ... I made ice cream this morning. You want?"

"What we can be certain of is!" exclaimed Dina and Gamma together.

The next destination is the city of Yuira. The journey will take five days.

But only two days ago ...

Tssshhh!

A fire attack slid from the forest and was immediately stopped by Arya's magic shield.

"Hoo, can dispel sudden attacks, huh? Great too," came a voice from behind the bush. "You guys ... Exone, right?"

Arya narrowed his eyes. "Sorry, who are you?"

The figure of a man in red fire appeared, his face was arrogant. "Oh, sorry. Introduce, I'm Mars the fire. From Seven Eclipse."

"Seven Eclipse?" Arya and Dina exchanged glances. "What are you doing with us?"

"Of course ... kill you guys," Mars said in a casual tone. "I've been looking for you for weeks, and finally found it too. Hmmm, so it's true that you are still children, huh?"

"Maybe you are the wrong person," Arya said flatly.

"Don't be bullshit. The magic energy left in the previous execution site suits your property. You deliberately left it for fishing?"

"Not really."

"Then ... die!"

Mars launched an attack. "Fire Storm!"

Arya immediately unfurled a barrier. "Barrier! You two retreat! Let me."

"Can we not fight?" asked Dina.

"No," said Arya. "Every now and then I want to fight directly."

Mars grinned. "You underestimate me?"

"No. I never underestimate the opponent."

Mars began to run amok with Aoe's magic that was widespread. Arya avoided using short -distance teleportation, firing ice bullets and winds from his two pistols. But the attack was swallowed in fire.

Mars sneered. "Just that much?!"

"Infernal Burst!" The attack arose from the bottom, surrounding Arya in fire.

"Swap!" Arya moved himself back, shooting two magic bullets. But again did not penetrate the fire.

Arya began to set the rhythm, think fast.

(His fighting style is brutal ... but too big scale. He can't read fast attacks.)

He replenished his gun, then jumped, ran zig-zag between rocks, short teleportation, then ...

"Frost Shard!"

A series of ice bullets crashing into the ground, creating small walls that limit the motion of Mars.

MARS launched Flame Wave! - The fire swept widely, forcing Arya to fly into the air.

When at a high point, Arya pointed a large gun.

"Snow Storm Cannon!"

The ice magic explosion hit Mars frontally. The fire on his body was partially extinguished, and his skin froze.

"What's this?!" Mars is angry. "You ... Monster!"

Arya approached in an instant, the gun in the hand pointed to Mars's head.

"You're strong. But it's too barbaric ... and too monotonous."

*Dor!

The bullet penetrated Mars's head, ending the fight.

Behind, Dina watched in amazement. "What kind of fighting style is that? Moving around while continuing to attack ..."

"So big brother!" exclaimed gamma.

"Wahahaha! Praise your sister, O my dear sister!"

In a dark room ...

"So Mars died?"

"I thought. He was just a barbaric. Definitely died first."

"Who's next? Exone is really a threat."

"I."

"Are you sure?"

"..."

Meanwhile, on the way ...

"Sis, what is Seven Eclipse?" Gamma asked.

"We also don't know. We live in the village and along the road never hear that name."

"Right," said Dina. "Even magic users are rarely found, especially that senieh organization."

"Then ... may I find out?"

"Find out? Where? Don't tell me you want to go to the royal capital?" Arya tested her eyes.

"Yes. Most likely, they come from there."

"But it's dangerous."

"I'm the Intel part, right? Isn't this the right time to show my abilities?"

"We can go three of them."

"Should not!" Decisive Dina.

"But I'm also strong ..." Gamma looked at Arya with eyes begging.

"Uuuhhh ... don't show a look like that ..." Arya rubbed his face.

"Please ... I can infiltrate underground organizations and look for useful information. Besides, I have a long distance communication tool."

Arya complained. "Yes, yes. But if it's dangerous, immediately run away and don't force yourself. Here, bring this too."

"What's that?"

"Teleportation bracelets. Can move to the places that have been visited. But I only have two. The other is used Dina. The problem is that making this tool is really difficult."

"So the bracelet used by Dina ... is that teleportation?"

"Yes. But I have never used it," Dina answered. "I prefer to rely on my own feet."

Dina looked at Arya seriously. "Are you really allowing Gamma to go alone?"

"Whisper we must believe in the ability of our own sister," Arya answered quietly.

"Whisper but it's really dangerous!" Reply Dina.

"Realize it, calm down. The ring he wears is strong. If the owner is in danger, will send a warning signal to me. I can immediately teleport there."

"... okay. Then, I also allow you, Gamma. But remember! Don't force yourself!"

"Thank you brother!"

Gamma also separated from Arya and Dina. He stepped towards the royal capital, alone.

On the way...

"Hmmm ... How do I find information, huh? Seven Eclipse has a relationship with an underground organization, right? Ah, just later. Focus on the capital first."

Arriving at the Capital City, Gamma was astonished.

"The capital is broad ... but only the palace and house of the magnificent rulers. The gap is very striking ..."

He stepped into a small bar.

Kerchakkk.

Everyone stared when he entered.

"Excuse me. I ordered milk, one."

Bartender was silent for a moment, then nodded. "Fine. Here it is."

"Sir, do you know about Seven Eclipse?" Gamma issued a bag of coins.

Everyone's eyes returned to him.

"Seven Eclipse?" repeated the bartender, returning the coin. "What is the little lady asking about that?"

"I'm just curious."

"Oi, little kid! Know what you are saying? Seven Eclipse?! Are you healthy?!"

"Shut up, you guys!" Cut the bartender. He looked at Gamma seriously. "Seven Eclipse is an organization under the command of the king's aide. That's all we know. If you really want to know, go to an underground organization. There is a lot of confidential information."

"I see ... Thank you very much, sir." Gamma slipped coins and tips.

Bartender handed over an address. "It's nice to help."

Kerchakkk. Gamma came out and muttered.

"So Seven Eclipse is under the king's aide ... general knowledge, huh? Then ... it's time to infiltrate."

He headed for an underground organization.

"Hello Hello! Slave auctions were held immediately! Drand!"

Gamma looked down, her eyes were bleak.

"Slave, yes ..." he whispered. "I want to save you guys ... but this is for the sake of mission. I'm sorry ..."

He looked at the bulletin board, then stopped at a poster.

"What is this ...? The arena match to fill the Seven Eclipse empty seat?!"

Gamma asked the man nearby. "Sir, what does this mean?"

"Huh? Little boy?! Oh, that's ... one fighting one in the arena. Holded by the king's aide. The Mars Si Fire seat is empty."

"Mars the fire?!" Gamma was surprised.

"Where can I register?"

"Do you want to register? Don't throw your life! Many veteran adventurers come along. And the fight ... until one of the dead."

"I have a goal. And I'm strong."

"Tch ... if you die, I'm not responsible. That is that, in that direction."

"Thank you very much sir!"

Gamma walked to the registration counter with a full step of determination. He has registered ...

But what will happen next?
