Seiya left the Wenren Dojo and first searched the internet for information on Shouzo Yuuki and Kyouko Yuuki. He found that Shouzo was the CEO of the general electronics manufacturer "RECT" and Kyouko was a professor at a city university. Seiya decided to go to Shouzo's company because he knew that the culprit behind Asuna and 300 other players still being in a coma was an employee of Shouzo's company.
Sugou Nobuyuki was a classmate of Kayaba Akihiko and Rinko Koujiro, and he was the main planner for the game's operation of ALO. He had always pretended to be friendly and had gained Shouzo Yuuki's trust, to the point where Shouzo even considered him for Asuna's husband. But in reality, Sugou was a selfish and ambitious man. If Kayaba was a ruthless executioner who killed for a dream, then Sugou was a perverted sociopath who had lost all his humanity for power and money. He loathed Kayaba but secretly envied his talent. Since Kayaba had trapped players' consciousnesses in a game, Sugou, to prove he was no less capable, did the same thing for his own research. Kayaba had created the Heathcliff character, and Sugou created the character "Oberon the Fairy King" with full admin privileges in ALO. He disdained Kayaba but was constantly imitating and trying to surpass him.
ALO was another full-dive game and was even more popular than SAO. If Seiya remembered correctly, Asuna was likely imprisoned in a cage in the World Tree by Sugou. Once Sugou's brain experiments were perfected, he planned to invade Asuna's brain to make her obey his every command and satisfy his ambition. Of course, since SAO had just been cleared, Sugou's experiments weren't far enough along for him to do this yet. In the original story, it took Kirito several months to recover, find Asuna, and go into ALO.
Compared to a social elite like Sugou, Seiya was just an "ordinary" high school student. Even if he knew everything, his words wouldn't carry much weight. Two years ago, if he knew all this, he would have had to do the same thing as Kirito: find a reporter and get into ALO to gather evidence. But that was then, and this was now. Seiya had just verified his abilities to see if he had the power to be so arrogant. If his supernatural powers didn't work in the real world, he would just be a physically strong kendo champion, and he wouldn't dare challenge the established social order. But he was powerful now. Having to play another death game just to deal with a small fry like Sugou was ridiculous. As long as he didn't challenge the law or get the government's attention, Sugou was nothing but a lowlife. Playing ALO was an option, but it was too much credit for a person like Sugou.
Seiya found the RECT company on his phone's map. Of course, a normal high school student asking to see the CEO would be seen as crazy. Since the normal route was out, he had to take a "special route." With his current abilities, getting past security and infiltrating a company wasn't difficult. He found Shouzo's office and pushed the door open. Shouzo, who was buried in work, thought it was his secretary. "I told you! I'm very busy right now! Don't come in and bother me unless it's important!" he said impatiently.
Hearing a voice he didn't recognize, Shouzo was stunned. He looked up at Seiya with an angry expression. "Who are you? How did you get in here? I told the security guards not to let employees' family members in!"
Clearly, Seiya's youthful appearance made Shouzo think he was a family member of an employee, and he was about to get up and throw him out.
"First, let me introduce myself. My name is Wenren Seiya. Like your daughter, Asuna, I was one of the players trapped in SAO. As for why I'm here, it's just as I said—it's about your daughter, Asuna, or rather, Asuna Yuuki."
Hearing this, Shouzo was first surprised, then a look of realization and anger crossed his face. "Did you have something to do with Asuna being in a coma?" It made sense for Shouzo to come to this conclusion. He had seen the news that most of the SAO players were safe. But his daughter, along with a few others, was still in a coma. At this critical time, this unknown person showed up, knew his daughter's real name and their relationship, and had clearly investigated them.
"Mr. Yuuki, I'm truly amazed by your thinking. While my sudden visit is indeed suspicious, if I wanted to use your daughter for something, would I just show up in front of you like this? And you think too highly of yourself. If I really wanted to do something to you, I wouldn't need a hostage."
As he spoke, Seiya looked around Shouzo's office. He decided it was spacious enough. What he did next completely shattered Shouzo's worldview. When the "dragon" appeared, a creature only seen in legends, Shouzo was scared to his knees. At first, he thought it was some kind of holographic trick, but when the Golden Dragon extended a claw and easily pierced his solid wood desk, Shouzo went completely numb.
