No one could understand the magical images he drew. Most of them had no pattern, like a child's random scribbles with multiple colors of crayon.
The old wizard couldn't understand them either. Since becoming a ghost, he'd been unable to add more knowledge to his memory. Even if he stared at the diagram for longer, he couldn't remember or understand it.
"Everyone." Anton took off his coat, rolled up his shirt sleeves, and gently pulled his wand from his coat.
"Now, witness the miracle!"
He gently waved his wand, making countless hand gestures with his arms and muttering something. It looked more like dancing than casting a spell.
"Gaga, ga, ga! Second bionic spell, what's it this time?" The old wizard was clearly excited.
Anna silently observed Anton's profile. "He's always so good."
At that moment, Anton suddenly leaned back, his waist extremely flexible.
His upper body quickly pressed down, his stomach arching upward.
Then, he continued to bend, his head tucked between his feet, forming an O shape.
"Perfect waist strength, perfect spine." Pedro laughed. "Children are just so resilient. Anton, you shouldn't be a wizard. You should learn to dance, dance...dance...Merlin's ripped socks!"
His mouth opened so wide that a cat could have been stuffed in.
Anton's head emerged from between his legs, and it turned out to be a snake's head!
Triangular, covered in scales, with light blue vertical pupils, it was a viper.
The snake's head continued to swim forward, its long body gradually stretching out from Anton's upper body.
Its body coiled on the ground, and eventually, even its feet became a snake's tail.
A viper that was a full twelve feet long, its body as thick as a truck tire at its widest point.
The snake raised its neck high, its head poking down from above, staring at Anna, its tongue spitting out.
The snake spoke in human language
.
"Oh, this adorable little witch, you know what?"
the snake shook itself. "It feels so good to be a snake!"
It was so funny, it made Anna, who looked so sad, burst into laughter. She giggled and reached out to touch the snake's cold cheek. "Really?"
"Yes!" the snake sighed. "I've never felt so free."
"Hurry!"
the snake urged. "You're going to be a snake too! I can't wait to go play in the castle with you."
"Yeah." Anna nodded vigorously and began to transform. She had gained the ability to transform since her first magical outburst, and this was the first time in a month that she had become a snake.
"Hahaha, come chase me!" Anton said with incredible speed, gliding across the ground and slithering out of the room in an instant.
Then, not to be outdone, Anna gave chase.
"Merlin's moldy underwear!" The old wizard's expression was complicated. "He really did it!"
"He actually did it!"
"He actually did it!!!"
He had warned Anton not to give Lupin and Anna hope too soon. If Anton couldn't do it, or gave up because it was too difficult, it would bring the greatest despair to those who held onto hope.
But, unbelievably, Anton took another step towards his goal!
"This isn't an Animagus!" Pedro the goblin was stunned. "I can't find any trace of Transfiguration!"
"This isn't a blood curse, I know!"
"This isn't some goblin secret he stole from my memory!"
"Hahahaha." The old wizard laughed triumphantly. "Foolish teacher, what do you know? This is Anton's 'Bionic Spell'. He built his own path based on my Fiennes potion knowledge!"
The old wizard looked very proud.
"Oh my god," Pedro exclaimed, "Your apprentice is far superior to mine."
The old wizard didn't retort, but simply smiled and said, "Indeed."
Anna's cheerful laughter echoed outside the door.
The old wizard shook his head with his hand, as if shaking his head. "Having such a terrible teacher, and such a terrible teacher's teacher, and such a terrible life experience, he still maintains a kind heart. This is the most rare thing."
The fairy Pedro disagreed with this.
He sneered, "Kind? You have no idea what he is doing in my memory. He is secretly learning the magic of our fairy clan!"
"This shameless thief who stole without permission is as hateful as his teacher."
"Haha~" The old wizard saw Pedro's unhappy expression and laughed.
"Sometimes he's a jerk, but sometimes, he's selflessly saving Lupin, saving you, saving Nagini. I think he's a good person."
The old wizard's eyes were hazy. "I don't know how much longer I can maintain my will. I can feel the raging winds of this world slowly stripping away the will in my ghostly form, bit by bit."
"What a pity! I don't know if I'll ever get to see his brilliance."
The old wizard turned to look at Pedro. "He will be the most brilliant person of this era, just like Dumbledore and Grindelwald. No matter how brilliant and brilliant others of his time are, they will be forgotten by their brilliance!"
Pedro chuckled. "Perhaps he will be like you say, but he may also die in some adventurous moment. This little bastard is not one to be lonely."
The old wizard shrugged and fell silent.
Haha, talking to such an old goblin was a waste of his precious ghost life.
Go away.
...
As Anna gradually regained her cheerfulness, an important day quietly approached.
That was Nagini transforming into a giant snake, losing all consciousness, and attacking her own daughter.
Then, she was killed by her beloved husband.
Of course, she eventually crawled out of the cemetery, but it's hard to say how much of this woman's memories, emotions, and will remained in the snake's body.
"Let's go back." Anna glanced wistfully at the cabin outside the castle window and the beautiful woman inside.
Her small hand sank into the void, as if grasping the valve of a machine.
Pedro sighed, the old wizard shook his head, and the snake spit out its core.
Only Anton remained seated behind a table piled high with parchments. He raised his head, as if making a decision, and looked at everyone seriously. "Everyone, I have a proposal."
Everyone looked at him in confusion. Anna, as if her courage had vanished, quickly withdrew her hand.
"Mr. Pedro, you are the 'Time and Memory Collector and Traveler' of the Elven Clan."
Pedro nodded.
"I saw a goblin philosophical question in your memory: if a person goes back to the past and gets his wife pregnant on the day his wife became pregnant in history, then will their child still be the original child that should have appeared?"
Pedro looked unhappy, "What else did you see in my memory?" Anton shrugged, "That's not the point. Let's get back to this philosophical question."
Pedro cursed angrily with a swear word in the goblin language, but seeing that Anton seemed to understand, he became more and more unhappy. Finally, he said, "There is no answer to this kind of question. Playing with time belongs to the realm of the gods, and the goblins have divided into many schools of thought on this issue."
"A madman in one school did conduct a similar experiment, but no one knows what the effect was, because history did not change afterwards!"
"Really?"
Anton laughed, "I have been concocting a secret medicine for the goblins during this period."
"Shit!" Pedro was really angry. He rushed over, stared at the crucible on the table, frowned and sniffed it, "Sealed Prison? Why are you doing this?"
Anton said with a smile, "If, I mean if."
"What if the Nagini in front of us, who can no longer restore her human form, replaces the Nagini who was still salvageable 38 years ago."
"Let her be attacked by Rosier, and we feed the 'Sealed Prison' to the Nagini 38 years ago to seal her consciousness, and take her back as the future Nagini."
"Isn't it equivalent to stealing the day and getting a Nagini who is still in time to save?"
These words were enough to confuse ordinary people, and they exploded in the ears of the old wizard Pedro and Anna, the three smart people.
Anna's eyes sparkled as she grabbed the hem of the goblin's suit. "Is this possible?"
Pedro frowned and pondered for a long time. "It's a bold hypothesis. If it fails, we'll only end up bringing back a Nagini who can never be transformed back."
The old wizard looked puzzled. "Why feed the 'Sealed Prison' potion to the Nagini we bring back, instead of the Nagini who has to experience 38 years in the past?"
Pedro, lost in thought, explained impatiently, "Because of time retroactive correction interference. This is a profound theory that I can't explain to you in a few days."
Suddenly, he looked at Anton in shock. "How much of my memory did you see?!!!"
Anton smiled and extended his thumb and index finger in a very subtle gesture. "I didn't look at it on purpose, just a little bit."
